Christmas Special Events Start a family tradition!

Country Christmas Sundays December 6, 13, 20, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a Christmas in the country from the early 20th century and take in the sights and sounds of a Christmas past. Horse-drawn wagon rides, music and Father Christmas. General admission. Doon By Lantern Light Tours Friday and Saturday: December 4, 5, 11, 12 and 18 Tours at 7 or 8:30 p.m. each night.

Step back in time and enjoy one of our longest standing traditions – a guided lantern-lit tour of Doon Heritage Village, a horse-drawn wagon ride and carol singing in the church. Note: museum exhibit galleries closed. $12 plus HST

ToTs Time! Tuesday, September 8 to Thursday, November 19, 10 to 11 a.m. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for hands-on activities for children ages two to five – weekly themes, crafts, toys, storytime, and learning games.

Doon Heritage Village

Experience our picturesque 60 acre living history village that interprets life in Waterloo Region in the year 1914. Open May through December.

Waterloo Region Hall of Fame

Learn about the people and organizations that have made a difference in Waterloo Region. Admission One low admission price includes our feature and main exhibit galleries, Doon Heritage Village and the Waterloo Region Hall of Fame. Adults $10 plus HST Seniors/students $8 plus HST Children (five to 12 years) $5 plus HST Children under five years Free Family (two adults and their dependent children) $25 plus HST Museum members receive a 10 per cent discount on selected special events, workshops, concessions and in our gift shop.
