RESIDENTS PAY TOUCHING TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN

HUNDREDS gathered at the War Memorial on Bexhill seafront over the weekend of November 11 and November 12 to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars and subsequent conflicts.

Two-minute silences were held on both days gave everyone a chance to reflect on the huge losses of life suffered in the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
Everyone then stood, heads bowed as the Last Post was sounded to mark the two-minute silence during which you could have heard a pin drop.
