Givenchy’s Pre-Fall 2011-2012 Luxury Handbag Collection showcases Antigona, Nightingale, Pandora, and Tinhan Bags. GIVENCHY Givenchy’s Fall Winter 2011 2012 haute couture features ready-to-wear runway sporty pieces as the world’s most glamorous, decorated and feather-light sweat top, while birds of paradise flowers were represented in golden embroidery with gilded chain threads left to run in loose rivulets accompanied by a clutch handbag with a metallic waterfall. Designer in Chief of Givenchy, Ricardo Tisci, finds that “the most beautiful moment in couture is the first calico,” and so he keeps the palette in the palest beige, ivory, and white for the cottons used for those initial toiles. For Tisci, “white has become very strong, when women want to be sexy and romantic at the same time, white is there.” Tisci narrates of “my darkness to light,” Givenchy archive elements, atypical couture materials such as white pony skin & visible zippers that heighten the his work’s modernity and painstaking processes of embroidery accomplishments by artisans who wore white gloves as they took minute stitches with invisible acrylic thread.

ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA Zegna’s Oriental Mood
China’s capacity to reshape her fate becomes a source of idea for Ermenegildo Zegna’s 2011 Fall/Winter collection upon stringent apparel that gained their attraction from Chinese Revolution uniforms and combined it with the perfect and hyper-masculine vogue of 1940s apparel. Anthracite gray changing to black, tea and mahogany shades scoping from red to brown and bamboo green traces, disclosing surprising, shiny silk intricacies woven in a celebrated classical Chinese art image. This featured mark, delivered in lacquer red or bronze, is the collection’s characteristic mark. The outerwear is casual and functional, with waxed cotton and leather peacoats, as well as buffed-off shearling duffelle coats. Passion for Perfect Beauty and Healthy Skin
Wandy Lim has learned about the appreciation for beauty since he was a little boy. He has grown up under his Grandmother’s care until he was 16 years old. His grandmother was a classic lady, who loved to take care of herself and always looked her best. “My grandmother put a lot of emphasis on beauty and grooming. She took such good care of herself, and as a child I was amazed with all the details, from her beautiful kebayas, her make-up and how good she always smelled . “ Wandy reminisces his childhood. Now in his late of 30s, Wandy is the General Manager of a premium skincare product line from Korean brand, named O HUI & The History of Whoo. It is no surprise that Wandy is passionate about this position. “Having an eye for beauty and quality of products gives me an advantage in this industry. I feel fortunate to be working at a company whose products I admire and strongly believe in.” Wandy , who himself uses O HUI & The History of Whoo product line, sure does look much younger than his age. His skin is radiant and supple, not a wrinkle or a blemish in sight. O HUI & The History of Whoo is one of the most successful premium beauty brands in Korea , used by local celebrities and socialites. Developed ten years ago, O HUI & The History of Whoo provides a complete range of skincare & cosmetic products, from daily skin treatment, anti aging to make up base and powder. The spokes model for The History of Whoo is Ms Lee Young Ae, a 41 year old Korean celebrity who looks youthful and stunning with her perfect skin. The History of Whoo was introduced to Indonesia in late 1997. “In Indonesia, there are a handful of premium skincare brands that cater to the niche upper market. Competition is fierce.” Wandy says : “Ever since we entered this market, our strategy has been on differentiation. First, we are the only skincare product that uses 100% natural, organic ingredients. None of our products are chemical-based. Secondly, developed in Korea, these products are highly suitable for Asian skin.”
The formula for the skincare products of The History of Whoo was derived from secret books in the royal courts of ancient times. It has then been re-developed using the same ingredients combined with the latest technology. Ingredients include ions of 24 carat gold, aged ginseng, oils and other exotic materials. “There really is no other brand like it” Wandy says enthusiastically. The opportunity for O HUI & The History of Whoo in Indonesia is undeniably vast. In 2009, total spending on beauty and personal care products in Indonesia grew 16% to $ 2,2 billion. This translates into a great potential for companies such as O HUI & The History of Whoo. Indonesia’s vast growing middle class also has more discretionary income to spend on cosmetics and beauty treatments. “We currently have 4 outlets in Jakarta and plan to aggressively expand. Next target is Surabaya.” Wandy explains. Wandy, who is a self-proclaimed perfectionist and workaholic, says that ever since he joined the company two years ago, his key area of focus is on service. “When I joined the company, I implemented a few drastic changes. We already have an excellent product, but the service needed to be enhanced. I trained the store staff on personal grooming, discipline and becoming a consultant to each customer.” Wandy is hands-on when it comes to day to day operations. It takes a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. By ensuring that the highest level of service is rendered, Wandy is now proud to count some of Indonesia’s top celebrities and socialites as his loyal clientele. “I work long hours. Even after I go home, I still get in touch with my store sales people to discuss the sales results for the day.” Despite his busy schedule, Wandy does spare some time for relaxation. “To unwind, I love to eat traditional Indonesian food, play the keyboard and sing.
