Strong Curriculum® builds stronger churches through teaching all Scripture to produce spiritually mature believers who measure up to the stature of Christ
Spiritual maturity isn’t an abstract, unmeasurable idea. In fact, measuring spiritual growth is a Biblical concept. Ephesians 4:13 instructs us to grow spiritually into “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” The measuring stick is Christlikeness.
Strong Curriculum follows the seven teaching aims leading to Christlikeness and uses the robust measuring tools laid out in Strong Church: Building and Measuring Mature Disciples (p. 15).
Throughout this catalog you will find icons indicating the aims in which you should primarily see measurable growth for that quarter. Each teacher guide contains these icons along with some measuring sticks to help you effectively teach and achieve measurable results. The takehome papers and other resources include ways for parents to both gauge and encourage their child’s spiritual growth.
Successful businesses today have means of measuring the growth of their products and their companies overall. We can do no less in our most important “business” of helping students reach “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

God’s Message: Trust It Treasure It (Bibliology)

Salt Shaker: Sharing My Faith (Evangelism & Missions)
Bible Passages: Select passages throughout Scripture
Course Description: God calls all believers to share their faith with the lost. He expects believers to live out their hope in Christ, to be prepared to share their faith in Christ, and to be willing to take the gospel around the world. This course challenges students to be active in evangelism now and to be open to full-time missions in the future.
Believers and unbelievers alike have honest questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, salvation, the existence of evil, and origins. This course provides answers to those questions. Students will strengthen both their faith and their ability to defend their faith.

Students will be challenged to walk worthy of the grace God has shown to them. This course on Ephesians covers adoption, redemption, salvation, and new life in Christ.

Cursed and Cured: The Dawning, Devastation, and Death of Sin
Man brought sin into God’s creation. Its devastating effects now touch every area of our lives. This course helps students understand the dawning and devastation of sin and the hope in Jesus. Students will gain insight into themselves and the world around them while being challenged to trust in Jesus Christ to save them from their sin.

Strong Adults
A New Adult Curriculum Plan You Can Trust
Participants in our adult curriculum, whether in Sunday School classes or small groups, have come to trust RBP’s comprehensive curriculum plan. This plan, often called a scope and sequence, has ensured a strong curriculum that teaches the entire counsel of God. Recognizing the changing needs of the churches we serve, we are introducing a new elective curriculum plan that maintains our commitment to teach the entire counsel of God while offering even greater flexibility.
Current Plan: Each age level of Strong Curriculum has its own plan to help strengthen your church by teaching all of Scripture, producing spiritually mature believers who measure up to the stature of Christ. For adults, this plan spans over 10 years and includes 45 Bible book and topical studies. (See pages 21–22.)
New Elective Curriculum Plan: After a thorough review of our adult curriculum strategy, we are making a strategic shift to better meet the diverse needs of ministries like yours. Starting this Spring quarter, RBP will transition to an elective curriculum plan for adults. Each quarter, an existing course will be highlighted (see page 13), while churches will have the flexibility to choose from a wide range of titles instead of following a strict quarterly release schedule. This change aligns with the preference for a more adaptable plan.
Adults • Electives
End-Time Faith: Paul’s Encouragement to the Thessalonians
Paul’s letters to the believers in Thessalonica gave them relief from anxiety caused by doctrinal confusion concerning the end times. He explained the coming of Christ at the Rapture and the resurrection of believers. His teaching encourages us to live in light of Christ’s any-moment return, serving God faithfully.
Ongoing Updates: While we will no longer follow a strict quarterly schedule, we will continue to introduce new courses periodically based on emerging needs and opportunities, ensuring they are timely and relevant.
Streamlining Periodicals: We are also streamlining our periodicals. Horizons, a beloved staple in adult Sunday School classes for over half a century, concluded with the Winter 2024 volume. Horizons readers are encouraged to continue enjoying similar content in our quarterly Baptist Bulletin magazine, available digitally for $9.95/year. For a class of 18 or fewer, this offers a 46% annual savings over Horizons. Unlimited digital group subscriptions are available. Learn more at BaptistBulletin.org/subscribe.
Commitment to Quality: RBP remains dedicated to supporting your ministry with resources that are Biblically sound, engaging, and adaptable. This strategic shift reflects our commitment to listen to your needs and respond with thoughtful, effective solutions that help you build lives by the Book.
Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Be sure to explore the titles shown here as well as our full line of electives found on pages 21–22. We look forward to this new chapter in our journey together, equipping your congregation with the tools it needs to grow in faith!
Lyrics for Life (Selected Psalms)
Written as poetic songs, the psalms are valuable in their revelation of God and life. We can go to the book of Psalms to find encouragement as well as instruction and challenge. This course presents select psalms on subjects such as God’s nature and provision, confession of sin, and praise to God.
Solomon wrote that fearing God is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs is for those who respect God and desire to live for Him. Believers who study the book will find practical instructions for living in a foolish world. This course focuses on topics such as fearing God, purity, work, generosity, speech, honesty, and friendship.
Supreme: Putting Christ First (Colossians)
This course is a verse-by-verse study of the book of Colossians. The book emphasizes Christ’s supremacy over the church and the believer’s completeness in Christ. Both truths combat the error that Christ isn’t enough. In Christ, believers are equipped to grow in the Lord and to serve Him well.
Adults • Electives
