At Reinke, a lot goes on behind the scenes to get each water droplet into your soil. When it comes to choosing the spacing of your sprinkler outlets, you want to leave yourself options should you decide to change your sprinkler package in the future.
Reinke’s standard outlet spacing is 57 inches, rather than the competitors’ 90 or 118 inches. Reinke also provides Low Energy Precision Application (LEPA) outlet spacing options at 40 inches apart as well as a 30-inch spacing option.
With closer outlet spacing, you have the option to add more sprinklers at a lower height for increased precision, which leads to energy and water savings. When water is applied within a foot or two of the ground, sprinklers must be closer to properly fill the spray pattern.

Pipe Coupler When water is applied close to the ground, sprinklers must be closer together to properly apply your water.
Some of our competitors place couplers inside the pipe and these are known as flowdrilled couplers. Studies have shown they obstruct water flow. Therefore, we weld a tapered 3/4-inch steel half coupler to the exterior of the pipe. A 3/4-inch stainless steel coupler is used on stainless steel and chromium-nickel water pipes. A formed aluminum 3/4-inch flanged coupler is used for aluminum pipes All outlets are tapered for a tight, leak-proof sprinkler fit. All our exterior-welded couplers provide increased strength and unobstructed water flow, helping every drop reach your field as intended. The Reinke Pipe Coupler Reinke welds a tapered 3/4 inch steel half coupler to the pipe creating a strong, long-life fitting for sprinkler devices. A stainless steel 3/4 inch half coupler is used on the chromium nickel plus and stainless steel water pipe. A formed aluminum 3/4 inch flanged coupler is used on the aluminum pipe option. All outlets are tapered for a tight, leak proof fit. Standard outlet spacing is 57 or 40 inch depending on system model and sprinkler package. Reinke standard outlet spacing is 57 inches apart compared to the competitors’ 90 or 118 inches apart. Reinke also provides LEPA (Low Energy Precision Application) outlet spacing options at 40 inches apart. Furthermore, Reinke offers a 30 inch specialty spacing option. Each technician must take six courses covering a range of technical areas and pass a test for each course to achieve Reinke Certified Plus status. Applicants who pass each test with a 90% score or better, earn a Reinke Certified Platinum Plus distinction.

If your wheel gearbox should fail before 10 years or 16,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first, your replacement wheel gearbox is on us.
How can we offer the best warranties in the industry? It’s not just that we source the best parts and perform rigorous quality checks. It’s also the superior engineering and design of a Reinke irrigation system that puts less stress on the drivetrain and other components, helping them last longer.
Take our V-ring seal for example. The tight seal allows for a flange-toflange connection that transfers the system’s load stress to the pipe. In contrast, our competitors’ systems are designed with gaps between pipes where t-gaskets absorb much of system’s load stress. The Reinke V-ring seal carries a 25-year warranty but likely will never need to be replaced.
Reinke warranties are put in place to give growers certainty in their investment, but odds are, most parts will out-operate their warranties.
