Rejoice Aruba

Rejoice…..”Raise your voice” In the beginning of January 2011 the conductor, Zulaika Geerman, started her search for singers for her new choir. Out of several responds to her request, 10 singers became part of Rejoice Aruba. The choir consists of only female singers including the conductor which was also the only musician at that time. A couple of weeks later the group welcomed their first male musician, a percussionist, and some months later their second male musician, a Base Player. The journey started in March 2011 at the Inmaculada Concepcion church, and was followed by numerous requests to perform in churches all over the island. To this day the journey has been a fruitful and fantastic one. We are the new choir making a joyful noise unto the Lord!
