• Health
Our leaders need to be healthier to lead effectively. It was scary to see the President of the United States and his circle contract a deadly virus. Many people worldwide and leaders of foreign countries have perished. In addition, President Joe Biden is older and many rumors are circling that he is in the early stages of dementia. When a leader is rumored to be sick, the country is in disarray. For instance, when Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, was supposedly rumored to be dead because he had surgery and wasn’t seen for weeks, chaos started to emerge.5 However, once he made an appearance to refute the claims, things became orderly again.
3 John 1:2 (ESV) says, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.”
Dear Heavenly Father,
REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE APRIL 2021
Bless our leaders of this country to have great health and long life. If they are sick, we command healing now in the name of Jesus. Bless them to be in their right minds and not be underneath any demonic influence. Bless them to eat healthy, exercise, and take any precautions that will extend their lives. Thank You for answering this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
• Safety
We always need our leaders to be safe so there won’t be any weak links in our country. Terrorist groups are always plotting their attacks. Whenever you are in a leadership position, you will be hated even though you have many supporters. People will love and hate you at the same time. Leaders of the country need security around them, so they don’t get assassinated. Since the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, security measurements have increased. Presidents don’t ride around in droptop convertibles but in bulletproof Cadillac.
Psalm 28:7 (ESV) says, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Dear Heavenly Father,
Protect our leaders from terrorism, assassination, and death threats. Cover their transportation and the foods that they eat. Bless them to have the best medical care so they can do their jobs effectively. Bless the people around them to have discernment and be sharp as they scan the environment for danger. Thank You for answering this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
• Humility
Our leaders need to be humble because it was the Lord that allowed them to be in a position to rule. Those that are prideful will eventually stumble. King Nebuchadnezzar was very prideful and ate grass in the field for seven years. It wasn’t until he acknowledged God and praised Him that he got his mind restored (Daniel 4:25-35). President Donald Trump was very boastful, especially during his speeches. It was sad to see him fall. He has financial troubles, claims of tax frauds, and some of his businesses and estates are on the verge of bankruptcy.6
Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” “ Our leaders need
Dear Heavenly Father,
Bless our leaders to say humble because You will give grace unto them. However, if they are prideful, You will oppose them. Bless the leaders to be teachable and to remember the small beginnings. Allow them to relate and fight for those who are overlooked in society. Thank You for answering this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
