MANTLED FOR THE DIFFICULTIES BY PROPHETESS LENITA AKLES

A mantle is defined as assuming a role of leadership that someone else once held. There are a few variations to the phrase, including picking up the mantle, carrying the mantle, assuming the mantle, etc. The

mantle is something that people grow into. Elisha did not get his mantle right away. He had to leave the familiarity of where he lived. He left his family, oxen, and field. He went to a field of training, removing burdens

and demonstrations of miracles of healings. Yes, there were difficulties in his preparation. He was mantled for the difficulties as he trained to receive his mantle transference.

It was necessary to follow his spiritual father Elijah everywhere he went. More than likely, he followed him to sleep as well as to the restroom. The only way he could receive the mantle was if he saw Elijah when he left the earth. Elijah tried to get him to leave him, but Elisha wanted it bad. Prophetically the company knew the day Elijah was to leave, but Elisha did not become discouraged. He saw him when he left. He was not going to let others snatch his mantle. It was the mantle of a double portion. Elijah didn’t operate in the double, so he couldn’t give away what he didn’t have. God had to give Elisha the double portion mantle. All we know is Elisha was there and he caught the mantle. Today I believe we can still catch a mantle. The natural eye can’t see it. When you are chosen for the mantle, grace causes you to be mantled for the difficulties. There is a chase in your heart to be in position when it drops. You must see it to receive it.

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TRIALS BY KIMBERLY MOSES

Opportunity Greek Transliteration: eukaireó Phonetic Spelling: (yoo-kahee-reh’-o) Definition: to have opportunity Usage: I have a good (favorable) opportunity, have

leisure; I devote my leisure to. Before the trial occurred, you didn’t have time to make adjustments to go to the next level, to improve, or to come up with a strategy to not end back in the place that got you there in

the first place. When there is a problem, God will raise up solutionists with the answer. When going through trials, greatness is being produced.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2021

Trials Greek Transliteration: peirasmos Phonetic Spelling: (pi-rasmos’) Definition: an experiment, a trial, temptation Usage: (a) trial, probation, testing, being tried, (b) temptation, (c) calamity, affliction. 1 Samuel 17, Goliath vs. David: this was an opportunity for David to come forth, someone who was already in training, anointed, skilled, and bold like many of us. We can’t be afraid to face our giants. The problem was that everyone was afraid of the giant and was used to going to battle one way. However, when David tried to put on Saul’s armor, it didn’t fit because it wasn’t mandated for David to go to war that way. He had to use what God had already placed in his hand, which were the five stones and that slingshot. This was an opportunity for a promotion. God began to make his name great. People were in awe that God could use someone so scanty/little. People have discounted us because of how we look, talk, and who we know, but there is an anointing that God is pouring out. Genesis 37—50, Joseph was sold into slavery among the

Egyptians. He didn’t know that this was a setup. God had him there to learn the Egyptian’ customs because one day, he would rule over them underneath Pharoah’s commands. You can’t effectively lead someone to whom you can’t relate. A good leader knows who is among them and walks in the shoes of the person they are leading so they can lead them the right way. This is how mentor/mentees relationship develops, or discipleship occurs because the mentor has a plethora of experience that the mentee needs. Joseph knew how it was to be in chains, serve, etc. When an opportunity arose, he stood out due to God’s favor on him, Christ-like character, and the knowledge he gained by being in that tumultuous environment. He was anointed and gifted, and the trial made an opportunity for his gift to come forth. God gave him a strategy to lead the people through the famine. Famine is a dry season where there is no prosperity. Famine is when you are surviving, but with God you can thrive in the famine. Moses had to see what was in him when the opportunity arose during the trials. He didn’t want to speak publicly due to his stuttering, but God gave him Aaron, who was his prophet. The

people were in bondage, but God raised up a deliverer. This was the perfect time or opportune moment for God to show himself mighty. God will show up in the oppression, depression, bondage. When Pharoah was pursing Moses and the Israelites, Moses had to lift up his staff, and God parted the red sea. In the trial, Moses saw how God could use

God didn’t remove the thorn in the flesh, but he said my grace is sufficient for you. In other words, I am giving you then grace to get through this. I understand this. him in unusual but powerful ways. Many of us didn’t know we could prophesy, cast out demons, or be used to heal the sick until we were face to face with trials, deep in the ocean about to drown, or in the boxing ring. Then God allowed the gifts that were lying dormant in you to come forth at such a time as this. Paul was afflicted and had a thorn in his flesh “a messenger of Satan” 2 Corinthians 12:7 says, “to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.” God didn’t remove the thorn in the flesh, but he said my grace is sufficient for you. In other words, I am giving you then grace to get through this. I understand this. How can someone so anointed be harassed by demons? The anointing attracts attacks. I could be minding my business don’t want to preach etc. then I feel a fire dart hit me in the spirit, stuff like that keeps me humble and causes me to have a greater dependency on God. I used to say ugghh God I want to be normal lol

2 Corinthians 11:23-28 (EXB) reads, “I have been in prison more often [Acts 16:23–40]. I have been ·hurt more in beatings [flogged more severely; Acts 16:22]. I have been near death many times. 24 Five times the Jews have given me ·their punishment of thirty-nine lashes with a whip [L forty minus one; C a shorthand phrase for the standard Jewish punishment; Deut. 25:1–3 allowed a maximum of forty lashes; the Jews gave thirty-nine to avoid breaking the law]. 25 Three different times I was beaten with rods [C a Roman punishment]. One time I was almost stoned to death [Acts 14:19]. Three times I was in ships that wrecked, and one of those times I spent a night and a day in the sea [C Paul’s shipwreck in Acts 27 occurred after writing this (c. ad 60), so he experienced at least four shipwrecks]. 26 I have gone on many travels and have been in danger from rivers, from ·thieves [bandits], from my own people [C the Jews], and from the Gentiles. I have been in danger in cities, in ·places where no one lives [the desert/wilderness], and on the sea. And I have been in danger with false ·Christians [L brothers]. 27 I have done hard and tiring work, and many times I did not sleep. I have been hungry

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2021

and thirsty, and many times I have been without food. I have been cold and ·without clothes [or destitute; L naked]. 28 Besides all this, there is on me every day the ·load [pressure] of my ·concern [anxiety] for all the churches.” There was a lot going on in the church, and the opportunity arose for Paul to write letters which we called the epistles today. They were so impactful that they are a part of the Holy Bible. The craziest part is that he was in prison writing these letters. Paul didn’t let this stop him from going forth with his assignment. I wrote ten books while my car was in the shop because it was an opportune moment. Imagine what you can do to allow God to shift your mindset for you to find the opportunity in the trial. It could be related to your suffering that you say God I know how it feels to be hungry homeless broke abused etc. and I don’t want anyone to go through this. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. In saying this perhaps God gives you the solutions or a great idea to change lives for His glory. Don’t dismiss the ideas that come through the storm. What I learned during my trial: •I was sitting on wealth I

didn’t realize it. • Before I got the green light to start another business, I had to use what was already in my hand or maximize the lane that I was in already. • I had to make some adjustments so things could go smoother and be more efficient. It’s better for some adjustments to take place during your season of hiddenness than to do it while you are out there. • Adjust was to make the most of time: put in the extra hours right now on certain things, so later, it can be passive income for me. • Work smarter, not harder (one of my books): What I am doing now will pay off in the long haul for my family, and I can do more for God. • God began to open up new avenues for me/income streams right in the trials. (Facebook will give me bonus money). In closing, I didn’t cry. I praised. I stood on God’s word. I trusted. I prayed. I rebuked the enemy. I asked for wisdom in the storm. Things began to pick up, take off, and open up.

THE BET IS ON ! MISFITS SHALL ARISE BY PROPHETESS STEPHANIE HAM

Oxford dictionary defines the word misfit as a person whose behavior or attitude sets them apart from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way. Or a person who is different from other people and does not seem to belong in a particular group or situation. On the other hand, Webster Dictionary defines misfit as • something that fits badly • a person who is poorly

adapted to a situation or environment. Misfit can be described in so many different ways, such as someone who is set apart, different, weirdo, not accepted, outcast, felt trapped in a box, oddball, loner, psychotic, maverick, rejected, abandoned, victimize, abused, and a black sheep. Not all, but most introverts or ambivert are likely to be misfits. Why?

Because they are often found to be stand-offish or set apart. PsychologyToday.com quotes: Misfits need to learn that they have as much reason to be proud of themselves as anyone else, despite the world’s inability, or unwillingness, to appreciate and understand their uniqueness. But the good news here is that most misfits mature, putting their

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2021

childhood and adolescent insecurities behind them. The only way misfits will arise is if they agree within themselves that their life matters. And they overcome low self-esteem, not fitting in, and feeling unworthy. They must realize that they matter to God, and that is why He “God” created them with a purpose and a plan he never designed for them to be a part of a group. This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; (Genesis 5:1 KJV). and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness( Ephesians 4:24). I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14 ). Growing up, I always knew that it was something different about me. I would try to hang out with people I thought were my friends and popular people. Most of them were having sex while I was still learning how to put weaves and box braids in my Barbie doll’s hair. Not to mention, I was limited to where I was able to go; my parents only allowed me to hang out with family members and some friends that

they approved. The sad part about being an introvert is that when people have broken your spirit, rejected, or abandoned you, you find yourself in a box. You don’t allow many people to get close to you. It’s hard to believe that God is watching over you or it becomes unrealistic to know that someone like God can love you. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16) . “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV).” For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy and shall save the souls of the needy 14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight (Psalm 72:12-14). For all the promises of God in Him are “yea”; and in Him “amen” unto the glory of

God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20). I have been broken, rejected, abandoned, and overlooked. God has a sure word concerning our lives. He wants you to know that you may be a misfit, but you are a misfit with a purpose that will change the world. I dare you to shut out loud, “God sees me and knows what I am capable of.” God knows what you are made of and he has not forgotten

about you. I know the thoughts that you think, thoughts of peace and not of evil and I come to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:(Psalm 139:23). When I think of certain prophets in the Bible who were considered a misfit and it’s not because of rejection or abandonment. It is because they were different or oddballs. In Judges 3, Prophetess Deborah judged Israel when women did not have authority over men. Prophetess Deborah is a misfit to the nation but chosen by God’s creation. She was chosen to judge the nation in a time when women weren’t walking in their purpose. She was a misfit in a man’s world. She was an oddball on fire for the Lord. Deborah was a well-respected prophetess who stood in authority to help save the Israelites from the attack on the battlefield. One of the soldiers, Barak, said to her, “I will go in battle if you go.” Deborah, the only female judge in the Bible, excelled in multiple areas. Clearly one of the Bible’s most outstanding

figures, she served ancient Israel as a prophet, judge, military leader, songwriter, and minstrel. Judges 4–5 show her exemplary moral character and indicate the people gave her great love and respect. She fused in herself the roles of prophet, national leader, and military commander. The Bible records no dissent or rebellion against her. The Israelites recognized her abilities and prospered under her tenure. Her name means bee or even honeybee. And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand. 8 And Barak said unto her, If thou

wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go. 9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh. 10 And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him. 11 Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh. 12 And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor. 13 And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon. 14 And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the Lord hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the Lord gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him (Judges 4:4-14). 5 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2021

on that day, saying,2 Praise ye the Lord for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the Lord; I will sing praise to the Lord God of Israel (Judges 5:1-3). King David, the shepherd boy, is much different than Prophetess Deborah’s story. Nevertheless, God did the impossible. Notwithstanding, David an outcast, overlooked, was found tending to the sheep and he tells the story of how he wrestled with lions and tigers and bears. When Samuel went to Jesse’s house, he looked at all seven sons of Jesse and asked, “Is this all your sons?” Jesse said I have a younger son but he is just a little boy. Samuel called for David, the youngest son and when he saw him, the Holy Spirit spoke inside of Samuel. He said, “This is the one to anoint to be the next king.” David was a handsome young boy and pleasant to look upon. He used to play the harp. Every time evil fell upon king Saul, they would call for him to play. David was a young boy, but he knew how to usher in the presence of the Lord. Let your lights shine before men that they may see your goods work and glorify your

Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). 2 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. 2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face (Job 2:1-5). Just like the devil watched Job, he is watching you and asking God if he could touch you. He accused you of being a misfit, black sheep, outcast, abandoned, rejected, victimized, or a weirdo. You may be a misfit, introvert, ambivert, different or rejected. People don’t

understand because you are a misfit with the purpose that will change the world. God recognizes what you are made of. He has not forgotten about you. God had you sitting on the shelf so He could take you through a process to make you whole again. The devil made a bet with God that we would curse God as He did with Job. When things get too hard for you to bear, His word gives you the faith you need to endure until the end. If your family or friends cannot help you through the process, He will send His word. When you ask, “Lord, why me?” He says, “Why not you? I know how much you can take.” We must not always think we’re being punished because we did something wrong. No, that’s not it at all. God knows what you are made of and knows when he made that bet what the enemy how it was going to turn out in the end. May this word be a blessing to you and encourage you to know that God is betting and rooting for you to win. He knows you shall come out as pure gold in the end.

PROPHETESS STEPHANIE HAM INTERVIEWED BY KIMBERLY MOSES

Interviewer: Thank you so much for accepting our invite today. Tell us about your salvation journey? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: It has been amazing, and I have been overwhelmed by the love of the Father. He always seems to surprise me. Salvation gets better as the days go by. I am coming out of the box and stepping out of my shell. I am learning not to be fearful, and it’s okay to be a misfit because I know that my Father has me covered. My journey involves overcoming by the blood of the lamb and by the words of my testimony. Interviewer: What did you experience on the day you got saved? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: I got saved under Micheal Woodrum and Prophetess Sharon Woodrum at a small church called Saint Micheals Hope Ministries. They started in McColl, South Carolina. I was just coming out from being a Black Jew,

which I didn’t know was a cult. My aunt took us to church, and if you lived in her house, you knew you had to go to church. Around this time, I had relocated from New York to Blenheim, South Carolina. My aunt always told me that if I wanted anything from God, I would have to give up something to receive it. I began to seek God and pray. Then I went to church to pray, and the pastor was speaking about Salvation. He asked, “Is there anyone that wants to be saved?” I went up to the altar. This was somewhere between 2001 or 2002. Interviewer: Amen. That is powerful. How did you get called into the prophetic ministry? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: I always knew that there was something different about me. I just didn’t understand what was going on. I was considered peculiar or weird. After God led me to Saint Micheal’s

Hope Ministries, He was teaching me His ways. Then He led me to Solid Rock church. One particular time at the new church, I had a tremendous encounter with God. My spiritual eyes open on a deeper level. I began to sense that something was around me and became weak like I was about to faint. Sometimes I would discern the demonic realm. When I started feeling things around me, the Lord said, “I am making you aware of your surroundings.” Apostle Dease was a phenomenal man of God. He trained us on the five-fold ministry and how to be sensitive to the prophetic. I was called to the prophetic ministry in 2005. A prophetess came to minister from Cheraw, South Carolina. The Holy Spirit was on her, and she was flowing heavily in the prophetic. For every question or concern that I had, God confirmed it through His prophetess. He made it known who I was. So this is how I received

confirmation that I was a prophet. God raised me up as a seer to walk in the supernatural calling on my life. It didn’t come easy. It came with a lot of struggles and fights. The enemy didn’t want me to know who I was. He wanted to make me feel like I was crazy such as being schizophrenic or bipolar. That was a lie. When God is doing something in your life, the enemy doesn’t want it to come to fruition. Interviewer: You’re right. How did you get into the herbs? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: Back in 1990, I was a Black Jew and had a herbologist named Dr. Atari. He taught the women the herbs in the Bible and how to take care of themselves. He showed us how the herbs come into alignment with the Word of God. God gave us herbs and plants so we could eat and use them as medicine. He showed us what kind of herbs to use and how to purify them if we had a female issue. Some herbs he covered were dandelions, Red Clover, lavender, St. John’s, and the like. As time went on, I lost interest in the herbs. However, four years ago, when I got into a car accident, and my interest sparked back up again for them through my doctor in New York City. From

there, my husband and I began to do our research, and we took some herbs from Dr. Sebi. I got many books and studied herbs because I developed a passion for knowing more. Then God showed me where the herbs were in the Bible. God gave me knowledge on herbs and the remedies they played for certain ailments in the Bible. For instance, Mary Magledge anointed the feet of Jesus with Lavandula or spinekard by breaking her alabaster box. When this occurred, one of the disciples said, “Why would she do that? She could’ve sold the oil and given it to the hungry.” Mary Magledge anointed the feet of Jesus because she was preparing His body for crucifixion, but she didn’t know. She took her hair and wiped the oil off His feet. Another example is when David faced some trouble, and he prayed in Psalms 51 for God to anoint him with hyssop. He said, “Anoint me with hyssop and make me white as snow.” Hyssop is an herb that is known for purifying, and they used it in the tabernacle when they made sacrifices to the Lord. The oil was used to purify the animals. Another example was when Jesus was on the cross and was about to give up the ghost, the people tried to give him vinegar and hyssop to drink because

her prophetic class. As I began to take these classes, everything that was lying dormant began to come to fruition. God began to speak and make it known the things that were inside of me. When the coronavirus first emerged, God told me to start my business,

One particular time at the new church, I had a tremendous encounter with God. My spiritual eyes open on a deeper level. I began to sense that something was around me and became weak like I was about to faint. Sometimes I would discern the demonic realm. When I started feeling things around me, the Lord said, “I am making you aware of your surroundings.”

“MisFit Forgottens Herbal Wellness.” God always has a plan in mind. When all the people were dying because there was no cure, God had a remedy that He gave me and my husband called Elderberry Blast, which is a herb that purifies the immune system. It builds your immune system from the inside out. It contains vitamin D, B12, B6, zinc, and other minerals. If you go to my page on YouTube, there are a few testimonies on there. A lady named Patrica was sick from Covid-19. She took the Elderberry Blast and was better after three days. It was no one except God that healed her. Interviewer: Tell us about your weight loss journey. Prophetess Stephanie Ham: It started with the elderberry blast, which healed my gut. I made smoothies out of them and drank them for three months with plenty of water. A lot of people suffer problems in their guts, such as indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome. Elderberry blast works as an antiinflammatory agent. Before I took the Elderberry Blast I was a size 18. Now I am a size 11-12. I am loving it and so is my husband. Interviewer: How can we get your products, and how can we connect with your

ministry? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: You can connect with me on Rejoice Essential Network, Facebook, Instagram, or my website, www.MisFitForgottens.com Interviewer: Do you have any words of encouragement? Prophetess Stephanie Ham: God is releasing fire. God has given me a book that is coming that will set the captives free. God has the power and the ability to change things and make things new. Things may be impossible, but all things are possible with God. All things are in our Father’s hands, and there is nothing the world can do about it. God wants you to know that we are His sons and daughters. God is releasing us even more in the marketplace. Interviewer: Thank you so much for your time. I appreciate it. Prophetess Stephanie Ham: You’re welcome.

UNLEASHING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTING BY NASESKA C. YOUNG

God is the ultimate gift giver. He has given life, the most precious gift of all to man, His creation. One of the Hebrew words for gift is minchah. It translates as offering or tribute. Even when man was deceived and disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, He devised

a plan that would redeem man back through the shed blood and sacrificial offering of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being, the last Adam became a lifegiving spirit.” 1 Corinthians 15:45. The redemption

of man would restore the original intent, to be fruitful, multiply, but most of all to commune with God through worship. Our Lord Jesus made it clear that He came to do just that. “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2021

How is it then that many born again believers are living beneath their Godgiven privilege? There are those that battle lack, depression, anxiety, fear, and frustration. The result of these negative emotions is unfruitfulness and unfulfillment. God wants us to be passionate about the gifts that He has placed on the inside of us. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” God loves to bestow blessings on His sons and daughters. Besides the gift of life, He has given the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our helper, comforter, guide and so much more. He is the Spirit of God Himself. In 1 Corinthians Chapter 12, we read that it is He who assigns to every born again believer spiritual gifts to aid in spiritual warfare. Every born again believer has an appointment and duty to fight. God through the Holy Spirit has equipped us with weaponry. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” II Corinthians 10:4. There are also gifts that

I would just call natural talents. The common definition of talent is a natural skill or ability to perform that does not require much effort. These natural talent gifts are what we are born with. For example, one may have the ability to write, sing, paint, or draw. Along with the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit, our natural talent gifts will bring us into the purposed place in life that God predestined for us when we recognize them and begin to use them for His glory. That is why the Bible declares in Proverbs 18:16 that a man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. Inadvertently, when we do not use our spiritual gifts nor talents we forfeit our spiritual blessings. In Matthew Chapter 25, we read about the parable of the talents. The Bible defines a talent as weight in gold and silver, which was a form of money. One of the Greek words for talent is talanton, which translates as a unit of money or balance. This parable illustrates how our spiritual gifts and natural talents are to be used for the advancement of the kingdom of God when we offer them back to God through obedience. It also illustrates how the omission of our spiritual gifts and natural

talents through disobedience will profit nothing. The three servants in the parable were not given the same talent. However, they were expected to multiply it. The first two servants did just that. The third servant buried his talent and did not increase it. Our lot in life is not determined by our circumstances but by what we did with what God gifted us with. Make the decision from this day going forward to be a good steward over the giftings that God has given you. When you make the decision to do so, you will find fulfillment, joy, financial increase, and peace but most of all, the reward that comes from honoring and obeying God. Matthew 25:23 says, “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” You will no longer fret or be in despair because your faithfulness has produced an abundant harvest. Matthew 25:29, “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance.”

Prophetic Reconstruction: The Remnant’s Response We can have what we believe, and the Remnants are Emerging in this last hour and our response to what God is doing is going to change the face of Discipleship as we know it. Leadership is not about the position; it’s about rising and becoming the product of your mission. The scriptures tell us that the only time security comes is from abandoning the illusion of control and surrendering ourselves unswervingly to the person and the purposes of God. You want a life full of results; you must live a life full of faith.
