Here we are at the end of 2016 and it has been an exciting time in Reliv Philippines with great momentum gained for many Distributors’ businesses and a number of new leaders emerging in the field. Congratulations to all Distributors who achieved their goals and milestones for the year and to those who qualified for rank advancements and rewards throughout 2016. We had a big group from the Philippines attend the Win Your Way reward trip to Osaka and we are looking forward to even more qualifying in 2017 to join us in Cambodia. Consider the words of American businessman, Harvey Mackay, “A great accomplishment shouldn't be the end of the road, just the starting point for the next leap forward.” If you have achieving Win Your Way as one of your goals, make sure you end the year running so that the momentum will carry you through the Christmas, holiday season. Then don’t let up when you achieve that goal, keep driving and remember to set your goals “through” not “to”. A stand out activity throughout this year has been the huge surge in social media use. More Distributors are discovering the benefits of utilising this media to help build their business. Facebook, for example, has proven to be a good way to engage people – both Distributors and new people. Facebook LIVE has proven to be a very effective communication tool and, I’m sure, will be utilized by more Distributors next year. I predict that it will become a valuable way for delivering short business presentations in addition to its current use as a way for people to stay in touch, share experiences with others and help inspire Distributors towards continuous improvement in their lives. One of the great things about our industry is that to be successful, you will go through some form of personal growth. I believe this is one of the most significant factors in success. As a company, Reliv has provided various training materials to assist Distributors in this area and we will continue to provide these tools. As we strive to grow Reliv Philippines to the next level, it is apt that we consider The Elephant Rope. The story is that full grown elephants can be tied to a post with a very small rope without them breaking away. This is because when they are small the same rope is used to tie them and at this stage of their life it is strong enough to hold them. The result is that as full grown elephants, they believe that they cannot break away and therefore they don’t. It is up to each of us to grow personally so that we can realize what parts of our belief system hold us back from the success we desire. Then we need to move beyond those limitations and it is only us who can do it for us. Be brave and turn your face to the world and enjoy the success you deserve. Merille, a 20-year-old college student, loves living an active life. Start placing a symbol beside each name to help you classify them. A name might have multiple symbols beside it. The more symbols a name gets, means that they should be high on your priority list to contact.

Good to know! “Going through this exercise helps you get to know your downline’s sphere of influence. It also saves you a lot of time, so you don’t keep chasing false leads and supporting uninterested downlines,” states Sammy. Identify the qualifications of people in your list and start laying the foundation for signing up MORE new customers, Distributors and Master Affiliates!

When you CONNECT with someone, you want to create enough interest so that the person will want to hear the Reliv story.

Share... you are your own best story!

Start by choosing who is next: Establish how many per day to connect with as your goal. Select one member from a group (no more to start). Write down or type their name in the “Contact List” or enter them into your online contact system. Go to one person at a time in a group until someone decides to get started. Then you can talk with the other people in that group as a team! As more people in the group say ‘yes’ to Reliv, the team can grow. This works better than sponsoring every person in a group by yourself.

Once you’ve connected with someone, it’s time to share the Reliv story using the power of your own story! The key is to provide just enough information about the company, our products and the Reliv business opportunity to engage your prospect. Keep it simple! Bernie advises on his blog that you must challenge yourself to SHARE the Reliv opportunity with one new person each week. This will give you the potential to have 4 new Distributors join you in your business each month. “Remember that Reliv’s mission is to Nourish Our World in body, mind and spirit,” Bernie reminds. “If you are living this mission, the only way to make it happen is to keep talking to new people and share with them the opportunity to be a part of the Reliv family. Help them embark on one of the best journeys they will ever experience.”

Reliv Asia Pacific Sales Manager Bernie Birch recommends on his blog that you Connect with 3 new people every week. This will give you the potential to do 12 Reliv product and opportunity presentations within a month. If you commit to doing this, you will see optimum growth in your Reliv business.

Good to know! “It is important that you listen while connecting with new people and growing your Reliv business,” Bernie says. “Start your conversations with this simple question: ‘How are you?’ Since Reliv offers answers for what people today need most, better health and finances, you’ll be amazed at how your conversation will naturally lead to new business, and you’ll be amazed how much you’ll enjoy sharing what you’ve found.”

Good to know! Every story is great! For the products, if you started out healthy and you are staying that way, share that! You are not in a competition for sharing the most dramatic health change story, just be yourself. For the business, no income story is too small to share. Sometimes we hear the big money stories and we feel embarrassed to share our own and others may see this as unrealistic or unachievable. Just remember, for many people, earning an extra P5,000 a month from home could be life-changing! 09

Step 4 ASK This step is one of the most important things to learn as a new Distributor. By asking your prospects for their decision, they are compelled to make one right then and there. Find out if the prospect is interested in the business or the products. Ask the person if he or she is interested in being a Preferred Customer, Distributor or Master Affiliate. Remember there is no negative answer. What matters most is that you learn their preference and get an idea how to take advantage of it.

Good to know! Ambassador Generose Uy says you need to learn how to ask your prospect regarding anything especially if it helps you encourage him or her to give Reliv a try. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions,” says Generose. “When you do that, you are NOT trying to convince anyone to do anything. You are finding out your prospect’s needs, then sharing information and explaining the options to them.”

Step 5 REGISTER and GO Be prepared to conduct business when someone makes a decision! For those who want to try the products, sign them up as your new customers. If you have product on hand, get them started immediately. Remember to set up your follow-up communications right away. If you don’t know how, ask your sponsor or upline leader to teach you how to do effective follow-up. Your new customer knows hundreds of people you DON’T KNOW and good follow-up helps open the doors to all those people. For those interested in the business opportunity, sign them up as new Distributors. Help them fill in the Distributor Application Form, or better yet, sign them up online! Teach them how to order products. If you have products on hand, you may provide enough for a Fast Start (30% profit level) to get them up and running. If they start as a Master Affiliate (40% profit level), you can order the balance of product from Reliv. Make sure they are using the products consistently. Immediately encourage them to use the Getting Started Guide and help them create their list of prospects and leads. Once you submit their application form to the Reliv office, welcome them to Reliv and always be ready to give guidance when needed.
