Timeless Elegance

This impeccably restored Victorian residence combines historic charm with modern luxury. With elegant period details, a sunlit garden, and beautifully designed interiors by Studio Tali Roth, the home offers refined living in a prime Armadale location.

Timeless elegance meets modern sophistication in this exquisitely restored 1889 Victoria House, nestled in one of Armadale’s most sought-after pockets. Perfectly positioned between High Street and the charming Beatty Avenue, this residence offers a seamless blend of period grandeur and contemporary luxury.

From the heritage façade, framed by Florian Wild’s lush landscaping, to the meticulously designed interiors by Tali Roth, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Inside, checkerboard marble floors, soaring ceilings, and intricate period detailing set a refined tone. The formal lounge, with its original fireplace, can also serve as a luxurious main bedroom suite with built-in robes and an ensuite. Upstairs, a private retreat accompanies three elegantly appointed bedrooms, all featuring bespoke cabinetry and soft neutral tones.

A custom-built library wall leads to the heart of the home— a stunning kitchen and dining space designed for both intimate gatherings and grand entertaining. Five angled skylights flood the informal living area with natural light, while steel-framed glass doors open onto a north-east facing garden, a serene setting for alfresco dining.

Luxury details abound, including a Wolf stove/oven, English Tapware Company fixtures, underfloor heating, and a basement wine cellar, elevating everyday living in this extraordinary residence. ■

NEWEST MELBOURNE’S ICON

Melbourne’s hospitality scene has an exciting new arrival: Melbourne Place recently opened its doors, bringing a new level of luxury to the heart of the city.

This striking 14-storey landmark, with 191 beautifully designed rooms, is already making waves at the Paris end of Melbourne. With state-of-the-art accommodation, worldclass dining, and boutique retail spaces, Melbourne Place has quickly established itself as a coveted destination.

At the helm is Tracy Atherton, former Executive General Manager of Jackalope Hotels Group, who is setting a bold new standard. “Melbourne Place has redefined this part of the city,” she says. “With the best restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shopping right outside, this is the place to be - offering guests a truly unique cultural and lifestyle experience.”

And for food lovers? Prepare to be impressed. Young Chef of the Year Nicholas Deligiannis is leading Mid Air, the rooftop restaurant already drawing a buzz, while the groundfloor dining room and basement bar - transformed by a globally renowned restaurateur - are fast becoming the city's next must-visit culinary spots.

For Peter Crinis, former Crown Hotels CEO and director of Melbourne Place, the hotel is about more than luxury - it’s about changing the game. “This is the hotel Melbourne has been waiting for,” he says. “We’re redefining hospitality at every touchpoint.”

The creative vision behind Melbourne Place is just as impressive. Some of Australia’s top design minds - including Kennedy Nolan, Studio Round, James Richardson Furniture, and Mars Art Gallery - have crafted spaces that blend contemporary elegance with bespoke details, offering guests stunning views of Melbourne’s evolving cityscape.

Melbourne Place is a statement of design, culture, and creativity - an experience crafted for those who appreciate the extraordinary. Deeply connected to Melbourne’s creative spirit, Melbourne Place invites you to experience something special. ■

We infuse summer flowers from Saison with toasted cherry pits, adding a nutty depth and a touch of bitterness reminiscent of Campari.

Valencia – Farm Larder Distillery

A dry, citrus-forward spirit infused with locally sourced botanicals. The primary flavour comes from Valencia oranges grown on the founder’s Nonna’s farm, with grapefruit adding depth and texture.

Light, aromatic, and bursting with summer fruit, this Americano is the perfect prelude to the night ahead.

A Chain Reaction From Start to Finish

The Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation, established in 2007, is a charitable organisation that organises long-distance cycling events for senior executives who are passionate about cycling and committed to supporting children's charities. Since its inception, the foundation has raised over $44 million, benefiting numerous children's charities across Australia and New Zealand.

The 2025 Melbourne Chain Reaction Challenge, which began on March 8, covered 1,000+ kilometres in seven days or 300 kilometres in three days and has already surpassed its $750,000 fundraising goal, raising $764,256 so far. Among those tackling the full 1,000-kilometre ride were Marshall White’s Director/Auctioneer, Kaine Lanyon, and Director, Justin Holod. At Marshall White, we believe in pushing our limits - not just professionally, but personally and philanthropically. Seeing our team members take on this challenge with such dedication has been truly inspiring.

Each rider in a Chain Reaction event is required to raise at least $5,000 in personal donations, supplemented by corporate sponsorships. These funds directly support registered children's charities, providing vital care and resources to

children in need. Major charity partners are carefully selected before each ride to ensure the greatest impact.

The participation of leaders like Kaine and Justin embodies the spirit of the Chain Reaction Challenge - where endurance meets philanthropy. Their commitment not only drives significant fundraising but also inspires others in the corporate sector to engage in meaningful community initiatives. Events like these highlight the power of corporate responsibility in addressing critical social issues.

As the 2025 Melbourne Chain Reaction Challenge came to an end, the riders’ collective efforts brought the foundation closer to its goal, helping more children get the support they need. Their dedication showed the incredible impact that’s possible when professional success meets a passion for giving back.

STABILITY IN

Uncertain Times

As financial markets fluctuate, investors are once again turning to bricks and mortar as a trusted and stable investment. The Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula property markets continue to see strong enquiry levels, reinforcing the resilience of real estate in times of economic uncertainty.

Melbourne Market: Demand Holding Steady

Despite broader economic shifts, Melbourne’s property market remains robust. Buyer demand has stayed consistent, particularly in sought-after inner-city and suburban areas where lifestyle, infrastructure, and long-term capital growth attract investors and homeowners alike. While interest rate adjustments have influenced borrowing power, welllocated homes and premium properties are still achieving competitive results.

Mornington Peninsula: Coastal Appeal Still Strong

The Mornington Peninsula has long been a favourite for both lifestyle buyers and investors. With increasing demand for sea-change and holiday homes, the region remains highly sought after. Properties close to the coastline, wineries, and town centres continue to hold their value, appealing to both local and interstate buyers looking for a balance between investment security and lifestyle appeal.

A Market Favoured by Investors

As recent uncertainty in the share market pushes investors to reconsider their portfolios, property remains an attractive, tangible asset. Real estate in both Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula offers long-term stability, consistent demand, and the potential for strong capital growth. With enquiry levels holding steady, the property market continues to present opportunities for those looking to secure their financial future. ■
