Broker Management Training RE/MAX run a comprehensive 2 day training program for all new & existing Brokers. The training covers all aspects of the RE/MAX System, from its inception and philosophy, through to the day-to-day operation of a RE/MAX office. Cindy Tate will be facilitating this event and you will walk away with a Business Plan and have the team at RE/MAX Australia support you with implementing this plan in your business. THESE QUARTERLY HELD SESSION’S ARE HELD IN OUR RE/MAX AUSTRALIA CORPORATE OFFICE Some important/essential points to ensure you get the most out of the training: • Pre-Course Work – it is essential you either complete excel documents prior to the course or you bring your P & L/budget projections with you so you can complete whilst in the training. The training will provide you with thorough information on RE/MAX, the principles of the RE/MAX concept and an operational perspective of how to run a successful profitable RE/MAX office. Your time in the Regional Office will also provide an excellent opportunity to meet the various staff members of the RE/MAX Australia’s corporate office.

Momentum Join the RE/MAX MOMENTUM program and participate in an ongoing program that can lift your business success and profitability to the next level. This is a masterclass exclusively for RE/MAX business owners, and only limited places are available in each program. Systems drive businesses and people drive systems. Momentum shows you how to develop these systems as planning, value and recruitment modules are broken down into clearly defined and manageable practices.

Complete Agent Development Program (CADP) To assist with our Brokers rolling out the Momentum program, we will be running regular training sessions to work closely with Brokers on the 12 Core Training sessions available. These sessions will be highly interactive with role play and train the trainer type sessions.


Broker Meetings RE/MAX facilitates meetings for our Brokers which provides an opportunity for them to come together, discuss relevant topics and current events, exchange ideas and network.

BAC Meetings The Broker Advisory Committee (BAC) is a team of dedicated RE/MAX Broker/Owners committed to Premier Market Presence (PMP). The purpose of the meetings is for each committee member to act on behalf of each of its Regions and collectively:  Serve as a liaison with RE/MAX’S Managing Director on current programs.  Serve as a ‘sounding board’ /resource group to the Managing Director for: o Appraising current region programs and industry programs and trends o Considering and promoting new directions in providing new services o Contributing to forward planning strategies o Serve as a study group to assist, support and maintain the corporate image and leadership consistent with the expectations of members and the public as a leading real estate brokerage organisation CLOSED EVENT – BAC MEMBERS ONLY

RE/MAX Broker/Owner Retreat RE/MAX New Zealand and Australia host an annual 2/3 day retreat for Brokers across the two countries. RE/MAX Fire Up Garry Malcolm & Corinna Mansell will facilitate our Fire Up Training to assist our agents. Garry & Corinna are both highly experienced and passionate about coaching agents to bring about massive results, change and the most successful they can be. Garry is an owner of one of NZ’s most successful offices as well as being the RE/MAX Business Development Manager. He has walked the walk in the world of real estate for 34 years, with 27 of them focusing on mentoring and coaching Corinna is General Manager of RE/MAX New Zealand and has had a total of 30 years in the industry, owning 7 offices of her own along the way. Over the last 2 years, both Garry & Corinna have made a positive difference to the success of agents across New Zealand. Sales Training This sales training can cover topics such as VPA, auction or processing stock to assist with any Sales training needed for sale associates. This day can either be internal/external trainers or a panel of even a panel as such. At times we will use RE/MAX partners to assist in showing how to use their tools in the market place. This is a dynamic training programme designed specifically to deal with the challenges of the current market environment. RE/MAX Platinum + Lunch Team Leaders & Individuals who have achieved Platinum Club and above are invited to a special lunch hosted by RE/MAX New Zealand in February prior to the Annual Gala Awards. This event is not open to Team Members or Administrators.

RE/MAX Platinum + Forum To recognise and support our high achievers, RE/MAX New Zealand and Australia host a special function which feature top industry speakers and trainers. This initiative is designed to assist our associates to grow their business without limits. The Platinum + Forum is an educational event that Team Leader’s & Individuals who have achieved Platinum Club and above are invited to. Team Member’s may also be invited to this event if they are a registered Sales Associate and significantly contributing towards the overall commission for the team (These members will need to be approved by RE/MAX New Zealand). Members who have not quite reached the required criteria can be put forward as a Wild Card entry (Wild Card entries can only be submitted by the Broker Owner). Property Management Training RE/MAX is working closely with our Property Managers to provide training opportunities to co-ordinate and promote the Property Management sector of RE/MAX within the region. Administrators Day RE/MAX New Zealand holds 1 Administrators Day per year in the RE/MAX New Zealand office. Project Marketing RE/MAX Offices all over New Zealand and Australia are working closely with Developers to market and sell their properties. RE/MAX Australia has started conducting quarterly Project Marketing meetings with Brokers and Sales Associates to come together and discuss the resources and tools needed to assist our members with successfully marketing projects. We will be launching a dedicated RE/MAX Australia Project Marketing website in 2016, in order to group all Project Marketing developments together. Following this will be other marketing tools and initiatives to assist Project Marketing.

How the Property Forum Works The RE/MAX Commercial Global Property Forum is a webinar that connects prospective buyers with properties listed by RE/MAX Commercial Practitioners. All listing agents will have about 60 seconds to present their listing. Viewers are encouraged to follow up with presenters afterward for additional information. A recording of the call will be sent to all registered attendees after the call. Details for presenters: All RE/MAX agents with commercial expertise may present listings. Properties must be current and exclusively listed by the presenting RE/MAX Commercial Practitioner. If the practitioner is non-English speaking, an assistant or partner may make the presentation.


Investment (income-producing) properties – not speculative investment properties such as raw land or vacant buildings – are preferred for the call (but this is not mandatory). One listing presentation is allowed per person, per webinar. There is a minimum sales price of $1 million for each property. There is no maximum. NEW ZEALAND PROPERTY FINANCE RE/MAX New Zealand launched New Zealand Property Finance (NZPF) in July 2014 and appointed Geoff Bawden as its New Zealand Manager. NZPF provides financial advice to potential buyers working with RE/MAX Sales Associates throughout New Zealand and by pre approving potential buyers and obtaining finance for those who have bought it adds value throughout the entire listing and sales process. REINZ – Real Estate Institute of New Zealand RE/MAX New Zealand work with the Real Estate Institute to provide our members with opportunities to participate in Verifiable Training courses.

REINZ provide training courses throughout the year and throughout New Zealand cities and towns as well as providing online training courses to complete. The trainers for 2016 are: Mike Nidd Mike Nidd is a qualified lawyer (LLB) and has had excess in 30 years of extensive practical experience in all facets of trust and property law, commercial, company, investments and civil law, advisor to various companies, businesses, professionals, trusts and charities. John Abbot John is one of Australasia’s leading real estate sales trainers with over 35 years’ experience in the industry. Following on from a successful sales career he is now one of Australasia’s most highly regarded and busiest sales coaches in all aspects of property sales. Yvonne Box Yvonne has worked in Real Estate since 2003 where she has been involved in the areas of real estate education, tutoring, assessing, writing course materials and presenting seminars. She also writes articles and newsletters and assists real estate licensees with the creation of their personal profiles and other marketing materials. Jacqui Rooney Jacqui has worked in the Real Estate Corporate Sector as an area manager and franchise developer. Currently she is the education manager for REINZ. She has in the past been a property manager, worked in Sales, become an auctioneer and owner her own Real Estate office.
