Schallenberg Family Retreat Perry, OK
The clients of this 50 acre property in Perry, Oklahoma requested a family getaway that will later be turned into a spiritual retreat that will house up to 20 guests. The design takes advantage of views on site to help make the stay more soothing and introduces sustainable practices with multiple prairies.
Objective
To create a spiritual wellness retreat that houses up to 20 guests and revives the natural landscape.
Process
1: Analyze different ecological aspects of the site. 2: Design a site that is suitable for humans and the biodiversity of the region. 3: Photoshop render masterplan and Sketchup model.

Concordia Memorial Oklahoma City, OK
Concordia retirement community is located in North Oklahoma City. The community requested a serene area that included a labyrinth, water feature, a play element and a memorial for the residence that have passed. The design includes the requested features and more using a mixture of computer generated graphics.
Objective
To create a memorial for the community to memorialize the prevision residence that is ADA accessible throughout the site, serene for its visitors, esthetically pleasing for the community and most importantly sustainable to conserve resources and money.

Concepts The first two concepts places the main features of the site into 3 separate areas and connects them with circulation.

Using the final concept creates pockets that can be used as rain gardens to buffer the rain water.

The Greenway Plan of 2066 is a vision plan that proposes making a green corridor through the city limits of Stillwater. The greenway’s main function would be to allow residence of the city to be reach the greenway within a quarter mile distance and to create ecological patches and corridors to help with animal circulation.

The concepts show the different focuses of the greenway. Each focus allows visitors to move through but also be surrounded by nature.

The greenway’s main corridors are along Boomer and Stillwater Creeks.
Vision Plan: The greenway plan is design to connect existing and proposed green space with existing and proposed parks and trails. The greenway main structure is shaped around the two main creeks in Stillwater and connected by bike trails and path that run throughout the city. The greenway vision is to accommodate all parts of city’s main features (bike,trail,recreation,wild life) and increasing ecosystem services by using patches, corridors and edges.
