Shelter I live in warm places. During the winter I may live in a garage or basement.


Prey/ food I eat small bugs. I catch bugs in my web. I use my fangs to bite the prey.


How it lives/Information about how it survives • I hide from other animals. • Other animals do not eat me because the red mark on my body.


Body information I have a shiny black body with a red mark on my belly. Females are bigger than males.

Newly hatched eggs are called spiderlings.
