How have you found our first issue?
Here are thoughts from our target readers on what they'd like to see in future issues: We want stimulating content which actually gets us thinking instead of soap listings and crosswords. I want a magazine that covers quite a few different subjects, so I don’t have to buy a different magazine for each area. I’d like to see articles on health issues, some human interest perhaps some stories from retired people since retirement. There’s a whole new generation of us newly retired people, with nothing to read. I’d like to read interesting stories of great life achievements.
I’ve had enough of cant and hypocrisy from magazines. We don’t all want to hear about ‘political correctness gone mad’. There’s definitely a gap in the market for retired people, we don’t seem to have a voice after work. Trashy gossip holds no appeal for me. I don’t need to know what the latest scandal is. I don’t want to see picture of glowing, beautiful skinny tanned youngsters.
