Renub Research – Technology News Analysis North America Robotics Orders & Value Market Performance In the first quarter of 2015, 6,895 numbers of robots worth value of USD 435.1 Million were ordered from North American companies. In terms of percentage it’s a growth of 16 percent in numbers and 29 percent in value compared to same period of 2014. Not only Robots Orders but Robots Shipments has also created new record with 6,997 number of robots valuation of worth USD 369.2 Million being delivered to American clients in the first quarter of 2015. In percentage terms this shows a phenomenal increase of 60 percent in number of robots and 24 percent in value compared to same period last year. Order’s from Automotive related sector drives the market scenario in first quarter. Life Science, Material Handling and Spot Welding has shown a double digit percent growth. Whereas Metals and Coating & Dispensing remain in single digit percent growth.
