REPAIR STEM CELLS INSTITUTE THE REPAIR STEM CELLS INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES NEW HOPE FOR SUFFERERS OF OSTEOARTHRITIS RSCI’s stem cell therapy for Osteoarthritis is the first treatment that positively improves and does not destroy joint tissue. Dallas, Texas, U.S. – [25 January 2015] – The Repair Stem Cells Institute (RSCI – www.repairstemcells.org) announces a unique stem cell treatment program for Osteoarthritis (OA) to be offered at one of the world’s most state-of-the-art, high tech, and customer friendly clinics, located in Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok has long been recognized as the global center for Medical Tourism, which refers to people travelling outside their home countries for medical treatment at high standards, but much less cost. An article in Forbes Magazine in August 2014 identified Thailand as #1 of the top 14 medical tourism destinations by volume of cases. It is a market worth $50-60 billion annually, and an estimated 1.25 million Americans will travel outside the U.S. for medical treatment in 2015. The 30-day, all-inclusive treatment is priced at $25,000 and covers, among other items: • Full diagnoses and stem cell treatments • All doctors’ fees, hospital charges, test, medicines • Post-treatment, personalized dietary regime to keep you healthy • RSCI’s exclusive post-treatment follow up for at least one year. Other medical and transportation/accommodation services are detailed in RSCI’s Osteoarthritis brochure available upon request. Osteoarthritis is part of the family of 100 diseases known as arthritis, characterized by life-disrupting pain, joint stiffness, and inflammation usually caused by breakdown of joint cartilage. OA is also known as “degenerative joint disease” and is the most common form of arthritis. Arthritis and other rheumatic conditions are the most common cause of disability among U.S. adults and have been for the past 15 years, accounting for over 70% of arthritis-related hospitalizations. It is estimated that by the year 2030, 67 million Americans 18 years or older are projected to have doctor-diagnosed arthritis, representing well over 50 million people. Currently, there is no known cure for Osteoarthritis, and treatments focus on pain relief and some increased mobility. In contrast, the Bangkok clinic offering RSCI’s advanced treatment conducted a study of 29 of its OA patients treated with adipose-derived stem cells for 6 months which concluded that 80% of the patients showed a significant improvement of between 50-100% pain mitigation and mobility increase. The Repair Stem Cells Institute, with 14 international stem cell treatment centers, is the world’s only stem cell patients’ advocacy group whose mission is to Educate, Advocate, and Empower people to make educated choices about their medical conditions and treatments in order to lead longer and more fulfilling lives. Currently, RSCI offers treatment programs to help patients recover from over 150 debilitating chronic conditions previously thought to be untreatable, including the “Big Three” – Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Cancer -- as well as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Spinal Cord Injury, Liver Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Renal Failure, Arthritis, Autism, and Type 2 Diabetes.
