green dot newsletter Colours
introduction The Green Dot is one of the most widely used recycling symbols on packaging. Its usage means that the producer of the packaging has contributed to the end recovery of the packaging.
Pantone® 343 C
It is a mark of environmental responsibility. Members of Repak, who support packaging recycling in Ireland, are fully licensed to use the Green Dot. In doing so, the integrity of the symbol must be retained through proper usage. This newsletter sets out some the ‘dos and don’ts’ for using the Green Dot. As more than 460 billion products containing the symbol are sold to consumers worldwide, it is important that the symbol is used correctly on all packaging.
