Inman Park Tour of Homes
The 2015 Tour Of Homes is part of the annual Inman Park Festival on April 24-26. The tour will feature 12 homes and points of interest in the community. Homes featured this year include Victorians, Craftsman-style, Arts and Crafts, condos, Inman Park United Methodist Church and the historic Trolley Barn. Advance tickets are $15 at inmanparkfestival.org or $20 at the sales booth located at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Elizabeth Street during the festival. Tour hours are noon to 4 p.m. on Friday and noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
ASA Decorators’ Show House & Gardens
The 45th annual event takes place April 18 through May 10. This year’s artists include two designers from popular HGTV shows, a cadre of students from a local design school, and a group of prominent designers from Atlanta and the Southeast. Each will grace “Château Soleil,” a French style estate designed by renowned architectural designer William T. Baker at 4701 Northside Drive. The designers will showcase their individual talents and design styles while incorporating creative trends in this 14,500 square foot grand estate with a sunny, golden façade. Celebrity designer and television host, Vern Yip, will serve as the 2015 Honorary Chair and all proceeds benefit the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and its education and community outreach initiatives. Druid Hills Tour of Homes & Gardens
The Druid Hills Civic Association will host the 47th annual event May 1-3, which features the theme “History Happens Here.” This year’s tour features five homes, a garden and a plant sale. New this year, the tour will feature a series of free events open to the public at Emory Village including an artists market, nightly entertainment, a lecture from the Institute of Classical Architecture on the firm Ivey & Crook (with guided tours of buildings designed by the firm on the Emory University campus), and the Patch Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk and Tot Trot.
