April is a big month for Atlanta INtown as we publish our annual Go Green issue and launch a new podcast series, INtown Insider.

The 12th annual Go Green issue is our largest ever, and the magazine is chockful of news, features and volunteer opportunities related to sustainability. We are thankful to our loyal advertisers, readers and all of the organizations and individuals who continue to support this special issue of INtown each year.

But what we’re extra excited about is our new podcast series! The first episode launches April 1, and you’ll be able to listen from our website at AtlantaINtownPaper.com or Facebook page or subscribe and download from iTunes or Spreaker.

In keeping with our Go Green theme, the debut episode features award-winning columnist Sally Bethea discussing the work of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, which, like INtown, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

A new INtown Insider will be made available on Mondays with each 10 minute episode having its own special focus. Along with Sally’s “Sustainable ATL” segment, we’ll also be dishing food news with critic Megan Volpert in “Quick Bites” and previewing and reviewing upcoming plays, concerts and exhibitions with theatre critic Manning Harris on “Inside the Arts.”

Another regular podcast will be “Real Estate Briefs” dedicated to Intown’s buzzing development market. This month, architect and regular “Perspectives in Architecture” columnist Melody L. Harclerode will be discussing the revitalization of Fort McPherson and the historic Rufus M. Rose House being put on the market (read more about that on page 34).
