Design Time ADAC hosts annual three-day market design event

Atlanta Decorative Arts Center in Peachtree Hills will hold its annual threeday market, Design ADAC, April 23-25 with a host of regional and national design professionals and enthusiasts.

Presented in association with Veranda magazine, the festival will feature presentations, parties, book signings and product launches. The free-to-attend celebration will feature designers Bunny Williams, Ashley Whittaker, Peter Dunham and Markham Roberts.

“At this year’s Design ADAC, we are looking forward to discussing the fusing of artistic forms with the practicality of function to create a new world of finely-crafted products and projects,” said Katie Miner, General Manager of ADAC. “New this year, we’re especially thrilled to create new experiences for attendees with interactive vignettes throughout the Center. Ranging from elegant to unexpected, this provides attendees with the opportunity to gather with their friends, snap some photos with inspiring designs and share their favorite pieces of the spring market using the hashtag #PictureThisAtADAC.”

ADAC will also reveal a commemorative display, called The Winner’s Circle, honoring the legacy of past Southeast Designers and Architect of the Year Award winners, including Beth Webb, John Oetgen, D.Stanley Dixon and more.

Attendees will have the chance to attend special product introductions and demonstrations throughout the week with beloved designers such as Suzanne Kasler, Steve McKenzie and Eric Kuster. Hear from husband-and-wife duos Brooke and Steve Giannetti and Phoebe and James Michael Howard, who bring their unique perspectives on living meaningfully and creating breathtaking spaces. Stock your library with numerous design titles from A-list design authors like Emmy award-winner Kerry Joyce and Patrick Dempsey’s and Ellen DeGeneres’ landscape architect, Scott Shrader.

Designs ADAC also serves as a chance to mingle with the newest class of Southeast Designers and Architect of the Year Award finalists and winners.

A 33-story apartment tower called 903 Peachtree has been announced for the corner of 8th and Peachtree streets in Midtown. According to Atlanta Business Chronicle, the building, which will be developed by CA Ventures, will have 417 apartments. The site is currently home to Noodle and Bezoria restaurants.

A $400 million development will bring a new mixed-use skyscraper and “luxury” housing tower to 3354 Peachtree Road by 2022. The development will go up on what is now a 3-acre parking lot along Ga. 400 and the Buckhead MARTA Station. The building will contain 560,000 square feet of space and around 60 luxury condominiums. The project is being spearheaded by a partnership of TIER REIT Inc., Regent Partners and BatsonCook Development Company.

TriBridge Residential has started sales for Harper on Piedmont, a recently announced condominium conversion situated on the border of Downtown, Midtown and Old Fourth Ward. Located at 625 Piedmont Ave., the building is formerly known as Ivy Hall Apartments. With prices ranging from the $200,000s to $600,000s, the condominium offers studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences amongst upscale amenities. TriBridge Residential has partnered with Engel & Völkers Atlanta to handle sales and marketing for the condominiums.

The Barsky Group, a team of Realtors focused on builder and developer services with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and local real estate developer CityScape, have established a partnership on a series of residential projects in the Atlanta area. Their first project is a new construction residential development is the Preston Hills Neighborhood, located at Preston Lane in southwest Atlanta. New apartment community The Ashley Gables Buckhead at 530 East Paces Ferry Road is officially open. The Ashley is the first apartment complex to offer full-service amenities to residents through a custom app, powered by Amenify.
