A selection of paintings from the recent Olmsted Plein Air Invitational

The Olmsted Plein Air Invitational drew hundreds of artists to Intown this spring to create new paintings. You might have spotted artists with their palettes and canvas set up at locations around the city in April for a week of painting in the plein air – or “outdoor painting.” The event culminated in an art show and sale at Olmsted Linear Park in Druid Hills. Below are a selection of some of the paintings created during the event. Be sure to check olmstedpleinair.com for details about next year’s event.
