►The Council for Quality Growth honored UPS CEO Carol B Tomé with its 33rd annual Four Pillar Award for 2022. Tomé was honored for her extensive economic and philanthropic contributions to Atlanta and beyond. MARTA and Columbia Ventures have received the Atlanta Regional Commission 2022 Regional Excellence Award for Innovative Development for the Edgewood/Candler Park transit-oriented development. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta expects to soon open a medical center dedicated to pediatric behavioral and mental health. David and Helen Zalik and their foundation, The Zalik Foundation, have agreed to donate roughly 10 acres of land, including two office buildings, to Children’s in a transaction that is expected to close later this year, according to a press release. The land is located along the I-85 northbound access road near the Children’s North Druid Hill campus and will house the future Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Zalik Behavioral and Mental Health Center.
