Seekonk Lions Give Back to the Community

It has been another great year for the Seekonk Lions with donations made to several Lions programs, community organizations and help to individuals totaling close to $30,000. Our largest donation was made to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Research. Community donations were made to the Seekonk High School Summer Program, Seekonk Girls Softball, glasses and hearing aids to Seekonk residents, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Seekonk Youth Baseball, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of Seekonk, Doorways, Newman YMCA, Seekonk Junior Warriors Cheerleaders, Elderly Taxation Fund and camperships for diabetic children of Seekonk. Seekonk Lions also made a donation to Hurricane Sandy Relief through Lions International These donations are made in part through the community support of our clam boils, which are held throughout the year, and The East Providence/Seekonk Rotary Club and the Seekonk Lions Golf Tournament held in the summer. We thank all of you who have taken part in our fundraisers and look for your continued support throughout the coming year.
