Cuba first Clinical Trial Registry in Spanish Accreditation of the Registro Público Cubano de Ensayos Clínicos (RPCEC) by the World Health Organization’s ICTRP On Tuesday 5 April 2011 Cuba will celebrate the accreditation of the Registro Público Cubano de Ensayos Clínicos (RPCEC) by the World Health Organization’s ICTRP, becoming the first Spanish speaking country to become a data provider to the ICTRP. The event will be online at 14:15 local time (14:15 EST; 18:45 UTC; 20:45 CEST) in http://bit.ly/fI9XIl Trial registration is a moral imperative that contributes to transparency and visibility of research, good research governance, and participation in research. We congratulate Cuba for this important milestone and for advancing in the implementation of PAHO’s Policy on Research for Health and WHO’s Strategy on Research for Health.
