RAPAC stands as a network for Central Africa Protected areas and was created in 2000 upon willingness of actors from the eight countries of the central Africa namely: Gabon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Central African Republic and São Tomé and Príncipe.
