a large portfolio is being able to market different technologies all of which are continuously evolving and require special focus. One of the biggest achievements that I am proud of is that I took two emerging technologies – cloud computing and data analytics and took these technologies to the channel, enabling the company to sell and market these technologies leading to a massive partner recruitment drive and pipeline generation for the sales engine.
Brief overview of your role: Technology Marketing is a part of Redington Value’s marketing, which requires skills from both marketing as well as the technology specific skills required for marketing a specific set of technologies. Working as an Assistant Marketing Manager for Redington Value, I work with technology vendors and partners and run a wide range of marketing campaigns through extensive planning, strategy building and field execution as well as digital initiative focused on technologies such as cloud computing and data analytics. Biggest achievement to date: I have achieved a lot for Veritas over the last couple of years. Building the brand recognition and reputation from what it was known for and what they are known now for, there has been tremendous change of perception for the brand. In particular, last year’s Gitex was one
of the achievements that will always be close to my heart, from conceptualisation of our stand to the execution of all aspects of our exhibition at the 5-day event, working on every single detail. Brief overview of your role: As 2CRSI’s Middle East channel manager, my job is to facilitate how our channel community delivers our offerings to the market. I just completed my interesting, challenging and satisfying first year with 2CRSI. I am tasked with identifying and enabling system integrators based on their capacity and interest in our product portfolio. This will, in turn, help our sales team to move further in their strategies. Biggest achievement to date: The word ‘achievement’ in my perspective is to enable channel partners and help them generate more revenue. I received some accomplishments such as awards etc. while doing this.
