Ayurveda has its origin in India. The meaning of Ayurveda is SCIENCE OF LIFE. The word Ayurveda is composed of AYUR and VEDA. AYUR means LIFE and VEDA means SCIENCE. It works with the holistic approach. In last few years lot of development has happened in other health sectors. And because of quick results it fascinates people, but these new techniques of treatments have come with new problems and it is creating bad impact on society.
WHY AYURVEDIC INSTITUTION? Ayurveda has evolved in India with rationale logical foundation. Today there is change in civilization and disease pattern has changed, medical science has also explored in terms of modern technique. There are many reasons behind it, but lack of institutes and awareness about Ayurveda are one of them. INTRODUCTION
IDEOLOGY
India is known for its diverse culture and tradition, but at present we are continuously chasing towards modernism and trying to adapt to western culture forgetting how our culture helps us bind with the roots of our origin. Cultural centers are spaces that promote culture and art, it helps spread awareness and understand the significance of diverse artforms and artworks worldwide.
WHY WE NEED CULTURAL CENTERS?
Over the past few years we see a decline in numbers of craftsmen due to replacement of machines for the same intricate work within less time frame making it cheaper as compared to hand crafted materials. This replacement has also made youngsters deviate from their culture and take different job opportunities. Cultural centers help people understand that the quality of hand crafted products cannot be achieved by machinery products, and engaging them in the process of making through workshops enhances the value of the product.
LOCATION
ZONING
Gujarat has a vast array of handcrafted products displaying intricate artworks that are not only popular in our country, but are also well known across the world. Guajarati’s display a vibrant mix of Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, and Buddhism. This fusion of cultures is visibly seen in their beliefs, customs, traditions etc.
SITE PLAN
Grand entrance will provide an essence of gateway to culture. Admin, info centre and library are zoned adjoining the entrance for easy accessibility of users, making convenient for them to collect information and set off. Drying space is zoned near to artwork workshop for easy access and towards the east direction to allow maximum daylight. Dorms for artisans is zoned remotely to ensure privacy and restricting the public movement towards that zone.

DORMS SECTION
DORMS PLANNING
WELCOME HOME : The idea to make the artisans feel at home is achieved by replicating the spaces of traditional houses of gujarat in the dorms. Otla : usually referred for the entrance to a house, accessed by a series of steps. The space is used for evening interactions, even the bypassers use this space to rest as it is shaded and over hanging roof is supported with columns. Baithak : the space is more of a buffer space between the house entry and the inner rooms. Acts like a reception area for welcoming guests. Chowk : baithak is then followed by a courtyard which is familiarly known as a chowk. It serves as a node, thereby connecting all the interior spaces with corridors. Parsal : referred to the semi open corridors that connects the chowk to the interior rooms and kitchen. Ordo and Rasoidaan : Ordo is locally known for rooms and rasoidaan is the kitchen area.

BUILD BACK BETTER The Bus terminus had flaws like insufficient parking and waiting area, undefined pedestrian flow, clash points between pedestrian and vehicular flow, along with the epidemic situation making it unable to withstand the scenario leading to a complete halt in the usage of transit space. The design focuses on resolving these issues, leading to the efficiency in functioning of the space.

VANDRE VERDURE - Bandra, known for unique forts and villages, has everyday metro-
politan spaces: the promenade, steps, skywalks, footpaths, transit spaces and the unused waste lands which can be redesigned in ingenious and fertile ways, making the designs universally replicable and human friendly. Space oriented modular design is convenient for installing in areas with similar characteristics. Through modules, users conceive the spaces in a different perspective, socially and culturally participate in every aspect of the design from production to consumption, aesthetically enhancing for the users in a productive manner.

ARCHITECTURAL WRITING TROPHY Livable spaces
Architectural Advancement – A Bridge for Quintessential Human Needs In a world where everyone wants to lead, People run behind development and often mislead, There are spaces that cater your needs, Just look around, architects are doing their deeds.
In a world where everyone wants to lead, Food, clothes and shelter is all that I need. I stepped into a space where I could breathe free, There was no one to judge, but all like me.
In a world where everyone wants to thrive, The needs of spaces will revive. A world of equity is not just a notion, Little drops of water will be a mighty ocean.
We as humans have three basic necessities: food, clothing and shelter where shelter is something that provides humans a sense of security, ownership and dignity. As of 2019, 1.8 million homeless individuals live in India and over half of this population lives in slums for whom we design community housing centers so that these people also feel the same sense of security and dignity as others feel. Designers or architects design for the people taking into accounts the basic facilities like water supply, ventilation etc. Laurie Baker once quoted “Cost effective houses are not just for the poor, they are for everyone. The equation that a cost effective house is the house for the poor, implying a bad looking house, can definitely be proved wrong. This entire classification is wrong.”
