Welcome to Rutgers University! My name is Karima Woodyard and I am the Assistant Director of Residence Life here on the Busch Campus. I have been a Scarlet Knight for about 2 years and it has been my absolute pleasure to serve Busch Campus! It is my job as your Assistant Director to create an environment that feels like “home” to you. It is my responsibility to create a supportive, healthy, and inclusive learning environment where you will have the support and resources necessary to thrive and achieve your academic goals. Congratulations on being a Busch resident! My vision is that you will all be open to new experiences and new friends and new ideas and that your year in this community will be one of the best experiences of your lives. This year’s theme is All-Stars! Our Resident Assistant Tiffany said it the best, “Teamwork is a very import aspect of group dynamics. Teamwork consists of individuals working as a team, to achieve an overall goal. This is what Busch Campus represents and what we want our students to focus on this academic year. We not only want to work as a team, but we want everyone to feel a part of the team. No matter whom they are or what they look like, they should feel like they are a part of the whole. It’s up to us, the Busch Campus community members, to make students feel like ALL-STAR members who are part of the whole”. Are you ready to be a Busch Campus All-Star? I sure hope so! See you around campus! Karima “Awesome” Woodyard
