Dear Friends, I would like to welcome you personally to the beautiful coastline of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. As each year passes, and we witness countless families building lifelong memories along our beaches, I am reminded exactly why our company was founded. In 2015, we were fortunate to welcome so many familiar faces back to our wonderful island, and it was our utmost pleasure to make new friends as we introduced their families to our 32 miles of pristine coastline. In this year’s guide, you will find images of the great properties that we have to offer, as well as portraits from some of the families who chose to celebrate their love for the beach, right here, in our backyard. 2016 is destined to be an outstanding year for family vacations as we warmly welcome new community initiatives, company upgrades and even more great properties to offer our guests. our beaches as clean as possible allowing us all to experience how truly special Gulf Shores & Orange Beach is. In keeping with the love of our beaches and our valued community, Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals continues to be active in our cherished area initiatives such as the American Heart Association, the United Way, and the all new “Turtles on Parade” (find out more on page 24). Gulf of Mexico Office Directions From I-10, take Exit #44. Continue on Hwy. 59 for approximately 28 miles. Once in Gulf Shores, cross over the Intracoastal Waterway. The Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals office is located approximately 0.5 miles south of the bridge on the right.

The Baldwin Beach Express is now open. From I-10 take Exit #49 and avoid over 25 traffic lights. Kaiser Vacation Direct guests can travel directly to their property. To come to the Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals office, take Canal Road to Hwy. 59 in Gulf Shores, turn left onto Hwy. 59 and the office is 0.4 miles on the right.

From I-65, take Exit #37. This will change to Hwy. 59 as the road opens to 4 lanes. Continue on Hwy. 59 for approximately 50 miles. The Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals office is located approximately 0.5 miles south of the Intracoastal Canal bridge on the right.

The City of Gulf Shores, along with the Coastal Alabama Chamber of Commerce, have teamed up with local agencies Share the Beach and the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance to bring something truly special to the area. With their sights set on conservation education and bringing awareness to the beautiful experience of nesting sea turtles along the Alabama Gulf Coast, the city will be unveiling 10 beautifully designed and painted sea turtle sculptures throughout the city, each year, for the next five years. Aptly named, “Turtle Tracks,” this grassroots initiative will feature the online “turtle tracker,” giving visitors, as well as locals, a map of each turtles’ locations, so they can visit each newly constructed sculpture as they are unveiled. The 4 foot tall sculptures are designed by local artists through the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance, and will be made possible through “sponsors” for each turtle. This non-profit organization is excited to give the city of Gulf Shores, and all who visit, the joy of experiencing these magnificent art pieces throughout the area. Through the addition of these beautiful art pieces sprinkled throughout the area, the city is hoping all will enjoy the additional color that “Turtle Tracks” adds to the already breathtaking Alabama Gulf Coast. For the Oysters:

1 Stick Unsalted Butter, very soft but not melted

1 Doz. large freshly shucked oysters on the half shell

1 Pinch Kosher Salt 1 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic 4 Tbsp Pecorino Romano cheese (shredded) 1 pinch Cayenne 1 pinch White Pepper

1 Recipe of the Sauce Pecorino Romano to finish Minced Italian Parsley for garnish Fresh Bread Lemon wedges

1 Spritz Lemon Juice 1 tsp Minced Italian Parsley Whisk together all ingredients

Heat a charcoal or gas grill until very, very hot. Place the oysters on the hottest spot on the grill and let them cook in their own juices for a few minutes, just until they start to bubble and the edges curl. Top each with a generous portion of the topping, enough to fill up the shell. When the topping starts to bubble and sizzle, sprinkle each oyster with about a Tbsp of Pecorino Romano shredded cheese. Let the oysters cook until the topping on the edges of the shells gets nice and brown. Garnish with minced parsley. Serve while still sizzling with lemon wedges and fresh bread. Note: The more topping that oozes onto the plate the better for mopping up with the bread. The Flora-Bama is known for doing two things very well: mixing delicious cocktails and providing never-ending live music from some of the very best local and national artists. To the untrained eye, the Flora-Bama may seem like a rough and tumble honkytonk sitting near a Waffle House and a variety of condominium complexes, but to those who are lucky enough to experience the Flora-Bama for themselves, they realize this generational establishment is a true diamond in the rough. What started off as a small shanty located along the sand, people long to return to the “bar on the line” year after year. However, the famous dive bar has an interesting and colorful past surviving fires, hurricanes, politics and more. The founding family, the Tamparys, owned a beautiful strip of pristine beach along what is now known as Perdido Beach. The family envisioned a small gathering place along the beach where people could gather, listen to great music and enjoy the beach with a cold beverage in their hand. With much excitement, the original Flora-Bama was constructed in 1962. However, the roadhouse was never opened due to a fire, burning the building to the ground prior to its unveiling to the public. In 1964, Ted Tampary and his sons Connie and Tony reconstructed their dream and unveiled the now famous watering hole! In 1978, Joe Gilchrist, a friend of the Tamparys’ and a local real estate entrepreneur himself, took ownership of the multi-state establishment. As the area continued to grow in size and demand, Pat McClellan, a former Naval Affairs Officer, was hired to handle the rapid growth in business. McClellan hit success with the development of amazing annual events such as the famed “Polar Bear Dip,” as well as the beloved “Mullet Toss.” In 2011, John McInnis III of Orange Beach decided it was time to bring the Flora-Bama into a new era of success. How to Paddleboard The Alabama Gulf Coast has much to offer those looking to experience new types of fun while on vacation thanks to the back bay waters and beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Stand Up paddleboarding has become one of the most popular ways for guests to experience the area like never before and we want to help you experience this fun beach activity! Here are our tips to having a successful paddleboard adventure. Step 1: Make sure you enter the water safely and can position yourself laying on the paddleboard, face down. Begin paddling with your hands and find yourself in water deep enough for the rear fin to clear the ground as well as being free of objects within fifteen to twenty feet of your paddleboard. Step 2: Begin by slowly standing up, positioning your bodyweight evenly between the right and left side of the paddleboard. You will want to be slightly closer to the tail (back) of the board, than the nose. When you stand your knees should be slightly bent to ensure the board won’t nosedive into the water. Step 3: Once you are fully standing and find your balance centered, begin moving forward by placing the face of the paddle into the water about 12-16 inches in front of you and slowly, but forcibly, moving the paddle through the water in a sweeping motion towards the back of the paddleboard. Your “stroke” will finish about 8-12 inches behind your body with the paddle being removed in a natural feeling motion. Step 4: In order to continue moving in a straight line, repeat Step 3 on the opposite side of the paddleboard. Step 5: Continue steps 3 and 4 until you have reached your desired distance or location!

As you begin to feel more comfortable on the paddleboard, make sure you practice “walking” around on the board and finding the most comfortable cruising position and placement for your bodyweight. Also, practice sitting and standing up while your paddleboard is moving slowly to ensure you can take quick breaks during your trip. We suggest learning how to stand up paddleboard in the back bay waters of Little Lagoon, Ole’ River or Gulf State Park. As you begin feeling confident on your board, you can progress towards paddleboarding in the Gulf! We highly suggest that you wear a portable flotation device while performing this activity for your safety. We hope you have fun on the water with a successful first Stand Up paddleboarding trip!

FURNISHINGS All of our properties are privately owned and their decor and furnishings will reflect the owner’s personal taste. You may view detailed photos of our properties at WVRal.com. In all of our properties, you will be provided: • Bed linens*, blankets and pillows • Essential kitchen items • Start-up supply of soap and paper products • Start-up supply of towels in condominiums and homes (don’t forget to bring your beach towels). Additional towel packages are available for a nominal fee * Linens for monthly stays are not included, but are available for a nominal fee. We want your stay to be relaxing and enjoyable, so we make every effort to maintain our vacation rental properties in their best possible condition. We will handle any necessary repairs during your stay as quickly as possible; however, no rent refunds will be made for malfunctions. Our maintenance staff is available after hours for emergency repairs. CONFIRMATION You will receive a confirmation letter after we receive your advance payment. Please contact us immediately if you find a discrepancy, otherwise it will be assumed correct. Please verify: • Arrival/departure dates • Reserved accommodation • Rental amount due A property will be assigned to you upon confirmation, but is subject to change before check-in if necessary. We will make every effort to contact you before your arrival should this occur. OCCUPANCY • Limited to actual sleeping capacity shown (includes children). • For your comfort, bunk beds and sofa beds are not recommended for adults. No property will be rented to persons other than families, married couples, and adults who are 25 years of age or older. The renter must closely and personally supervise all occupants of a property under the age of 25 years. Single persons under 25 years of age will not be permitted to check-in. Any reservation obtained under false pretense may be subject to loss of rent and/or eviction. House parties are not allowed. Please contact our Group Sales Coordinator for accommodations and rates for large group functions, weddings, or business retreats. Additional city ordinances / restrictions and fees apply PARKING Here at the beach, parking is limited. Please make your travel plans accordingly to avoid any inconvenience on your arrival. • Condominiums - 1 to 2 vehicle passes per reservation (determined by the property association). Some of our properties offer boat trailer parking and pier facilities. Otherwise, boats, trailers, jet skis, and motor homes are not permitted in the complex parking lots. • Homes - parking space varies, ask our Reservation Professionals for details. Motor home/travel trailer hook-up is not allowed as it over occupies the property. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES We know you won’t want to, but if you find it necessary to cancel your reservation or change dates, you must give us advance notice in order to receive a refund of your advance rent less a $40 cancellation fee. The $97 reservation processing fee is separate and is not refundable. • Condominium Reservations - 30 day advance notice for daily and weekly stays. Weekly reservations in summer season cannot be shortened. • Beach Homes - 30 day advance notice for all seasons. • Monthly Rentals - 90 day advance notice. • If less than the minimum notice is given, your required advance payment will be forfeited to the property owner unless the property is re-booked for the entire stay. When the property is re-booked we will refund the balance of the advance payment.

TRAVEL INSURANCE Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals® is pleased to offer optional travel insurance by Red Sky Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment. Please ask your Reservation Professional for details. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT • Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, 2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. • See your confirmation letter for check-in location. Gulf Shores Office - 1557 Gulf Shores Parkway (¼ mile south of the Intracoastal Bridge on the right) • If you plan to arrive after 8:00 p.m., please call ahead for key pick-up instructions. • You will receive two sets of keys at check-in. If you become locked out of your accommodations after hours, security will charge a $25 re-entry fee. • Due to our high housekeeping standards, some properties may need a little extra cleaning time and check-in may be delayed.
