Editor’s Corner Write Well, Father By Kelly Vonner
“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those
days says YAH. I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds, I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more”. Hebrews 10:16 The author of Hebrews is reminding the reader of passages of scripture found in Jeremiah 31:31-37, Ezekiel 11:19-21, and Ezekiel 36:26-27 where the Father has promised to do something new. He’s going to write His instructions on our hearts and minds and remember our lawless deeds no more. How does He do this? By sending Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh (John 1). Why? Because “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). Our Father loves deeply and righteously, and for those that believe, He is writing the character, deeds, thoughts, and actions of His Son, the Word made flesh, on our hearts and minds. Our response should be “Write well, Father”. If we plan to walk with Him, we must allow Him to write His truth on us so that it may be in us. He is the author of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). He is the author of eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9), and He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrew 12:2). What was once written on stone is now being written on the hearts and minds of those that choose life. I pray that you allow Him to cleanse you of all brokeness and give Him the authority to write life upon your heart so that you may find rest of your souls. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life. prepared, strengthened, gained insight, and their selfish natures were turned toward leading the children of Israel,. When we walk in His will, we must also be obedient and exhibit His character. In Exodus 22:21 also in Exodus 23:9 it states you shall not mistreat or oppress the stranger. Exodus 23:4-5 4 “Whenever you come across your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering loose, be sure to take it back to him. 5 Whenever you see that the donkey of someone who hates you has collapsed under its load, don’t leave it there. Be sure to help him with his animal.
Ruach or Not? By Beverly Holiday
In this article you will see the names Yahweh, Elohim and Yeshua, these are the Hebrew names that you may know as God, Lord and Jesus. Ruach is another Hebrew word for The Holy Spirit. Please do not let the names detour you from the content. For those, that desire to teach, consider themselves wise, consider themselves leaders and the like, absolutely need The Ruach to lead, guide and teach them truth. The Most High thought The Ruach was very important in leading, guiding and instructing, first to Moses and then to the 70 elders of Israel. The Most High placed the Ruach upon them to care for and to be able to make just decisions, concerning the children of Israel. Numbers 11:16-30 tells of this
event, that distributed The Ruach, to those who could assist Moses in caring for the numerous people complaining and desiring to return to the land of bondage. This is one example that is not only found in the Scriptures (Old Testament), but also is in the Torah (1st 5 books of The Bible).
So, for those that believe there is no need/existence of the Ruach, obedience, forgiveness and actions to this degree can only be accomplished by the indwelling of the Ruach. The change has to come from the inside to put off our old nature and work toward His character.
I Samuel 10:6 Samuel took a flask of olive oil, poured it on Saul’s head, kissed him, and said, “Yahweh has anointed you to be ruler of his people Israel. You will rule his people and save them from all their enemies. This will be the sign that Yahweh has anointed you to be ruler of his people.6 Then the Ruach of Yahweh will come over you. You will be a different person while you prophesy with them.
I Samuel 16:14 14 Now, the Ruach Yahweh had left Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh tormented him. Saul’s officials told him, “An evil spirit from Elohim is tormenting you.
I Samuel 16:13 13 Samuel took the flask of olive oil and anointed David in the presence of his brothers. The Ruach Yahweh came over David and stayed with him from that day on. Then Samuel left for Ramah. Saul and David were changed,
Whenever Elohim’s spirit came to Saul, David took the lyre and strummed a tune. Saul got relief from his terror and felt better, and the evil spirit left him. As we spoke earlier of The Ruach being on Saul, let us be careful to love and obey the one and only true Elohim. We must not quench The Ruach or behave in a way that IT would be replaced with an evil spirit from The Most High to torment us. John 14:15-18, 25-26 15 “If you love me, you will obey my 6
commandments. 16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. 17 That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.18 “I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you.25 “I have told you this while I’m still with you. 26 However, the helper, the Ruach, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind you of everything that I have ever told you. The Ruach is a gift from the Father. Those that choose to turn down this gift, have no desire for It, or say that It does not exist, have no TRUTH to carry to the people. The parable of the 10 virgins, in Matt. 25:1-12 tells us of the wise and the foolish. Those who were wise had plenty of oil (representing The Ruach). Can we be considered wise without The Ruach? According to the end of the parable, those who had no oil (no Ruach) were considered foolish and not even known by The Returning Bridegroom. Do we desire to be as those wise virgins, and go in and sit down to the ultimate wedding feast? The Ruach is the qualifier, your invitation to attend. Seek His gift earnestly.
praise and glory for this. Heritage is absolutely relevant and important. How much more important is the inheritance of freedom to live with Him eternally? The Ruach is that promise! Mark 3:28-30 28 “I can guarantee this truth: People will be forgiven for any sin or curse. 29 But whoever curses the Ruach will never be forgiven. He is guilty of an everlasting sin.” 30 Yeshua said this because the experts in Moses’ Teachings had said that he had an evil spirit. If speaking against The Ruach is NEVER forgiven, get that in your mind. DEATH is the only end for unforgiven sin. Then, as anyone who calls themselves believers in The Father, The Son or The Father and Son, should diligently seek The Ruach and live! *All Scripture from The Names of God version from biblegateway.com
Luke 10:21-22 21 In that hour the Ruach filled Yeshua with joy. Yeshua said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from wise and intelligent people and revealing them to little children. Yes, Father, this is what pleased you.22 “My Father has turned everything over to me. Only the Father knows who the Son is. And no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.” Here the Scripture lets us know that you can’t even know the Father unless Y eshua reveals Him to you. For those that see themselves wise in their own eyes and not recognizing Y eshua or the Brit Chadasha, the Word says there is more hope for a fool than for people like these. The Scriptures (Old Testament) was the written Word they had at the time Y eshua walked on this earth. Anything He taught or said in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament) is repeating, reflecting, explaining or enhancing that which was written in The Scriptures. Ephesians 1: 13 You heard and believed the message of truth, the Good News that he has saved you. In Him you were sealed with the Ruach whom He promised. 14 This Ruach is the guarantee that we will receive our inheritance. We have this guarantee until we are set free to belong to him. Behind the Veil
By Kelly D. Vonner And you shall put it before the veil that is before the ark of the Testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you. Exodus 30:6 The high priest was allowed to come behind the veil only once a year and only after he had made atonement for himself as well as the people (Leviticus 16). The Father still desires to meet and speak with us behind the veil, and through Yahshua, the way has been made. We must address what keeps us wandering in the outer courts. We must seek to understand why we fear to come into the house where our Father abides. If the veil has been torn, where does the separation still exist? Addressing What Causes Separation Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that is cannot save, nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your Elohim; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has mutter perversity. No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity…(Isaiah 59:1-4, NKJV). In my husband’s message, A Lamenting Heart, he said, “Returning to YAH brings balance, but it illuminates our sins and stops people in their pursuit”. We must address what we allow
to separate us from communing with the Father. Our hands defiled with blood because of the acts we have committed that diminished life for ourselves and our neighbors. Our fingers are covered with filth with iniquity from generational sins passed down from one family member to another. We have spoken and believed lies, and our tongues have spoken idol words over ourselves and our neighbor. We have persisted in unfaithfulness. We seek not justice or truth, thus causing a new veil to be erected in place of the one that YAH tore through Christ. My husband says, “Real transformation requires real honesty”. If the veil has been torn, then the separation is in our minds because of our sins. Come clean. Allow the Father to renew your mind through Christ, and come through the veil to commune with your Elohim. Yahshua: The Veil And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top
to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split (Matthew 27:50-51, NKJV). Because of Yahshua, the veil has been torn, and now the testimony and the mercy seat are openly revealed. Where we commune and meet with Him and where He speaks and declares His truth is open to us. We must understand that this access is made possible by Christ’s death because of His life. Messiah gave all so that we could see and steadily look upon the perfection of YAH. Yahshua was willing to give all, while we were yet enemies, that we may have life. We must not diminish His role in our salvation. But Christ came, as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption (Hebrews 9: 11-12). As earthly temples, there are imperfections in us. Life is on the other side of the veil. The way is 8
clear. Just as Yahshua is the Good Shepherd and the Door (John 10), He is also the High Priest and the Veil. What an act of love? Yahshua wants us to see and experience all the goodness and truth that is in the Father. He was sent to rebuild the bridge that we burned by being stiffnecked, disobedient, and persisting in unfaithfulness. Let us not seek professions as master seamstresses who seek to sew a new veil made by human hands. We must be willing to pass through. We must be willing to surrender to His will for us and live. I pray that the veil of separation that exists in the hearts and minds of the people to be removed in Yahshua’s name for the purpose and will of the kingdom of YAH. ...by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:2025, NKJV). the season to
REJOICE By Kelly D. Vonner
...and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven daysYou shall keep it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month (Leviticus 23:4041, NKJV). Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles is the only feast where the Israelites are commanded to rejoice before the LORD. In YAH’s prescribed place of worship, we are commanded to bring everything in order to worship and celebrate before Him joyfully! And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall be careful to observe these statutes. You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates. Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD chooses because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands so that you surely rejoice (Deuteronomy 16:12-16, NKJV).
and rejoice in His freedom. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke bondage (Galatians 5:1, NKJV). He set us free that we could be sons and daughters of the Most High. Truth, love, life and joy are interwoven in His Freedom. Our work should be His work and our service should be to the Sovereign One. We can not live and be in bondage to death. We need all that the Father provides for us through Christ. Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:34-36, NKJV). This is truly the season to rejoice. To be free in the truth and way of the Father is liberating. To step away from the heaviness of the world and dwell in the presence of YAH is life and shalom. I pray your fall feast days are blessed beyond measure. YAH has promised to dwell with us. HalleluYAH. Shalom. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17, NKJV).
We have been set free to serve in righteousness to the Righteous One. We must remember our bondage in order to truly be able to rejoice in our freedom. We must stand fast in the liberty of Yahshua and reflect 10
