Welcome to Spring 2022! As a new spring season unfolds, a new season of My Rowe Design is also in bloom! Our signature design collaboration program returns to High Point Market this spring, representing an exciting partnership between Rowe & Robin Bruce and an elite group of some of the most trendsetting designers in interior design today. We challenged this curated group of creatives to imagine a space using their Rowe favorites, showcasing their unique perspectives in their own individual spaces. Each of them was inspired by the opportunities for customization and diversity of fabric options in the Rowe & Robin Bruce lines, as well as the overall quality of the Rowe experience. We can’t wait to introduce you to our My Rowe Designers and their collections — they’re sure to inspire your own creativity! WARM REGARDS, ROWE FURNITURE

My Rowe Design by Heather Inspired by her journeys, Heather looked overseas for the creative spark that began her My Rowe Design. “The inspiration for our My Rowe Design space was British charm,” says the designer, an enthusiastic Anglophile. “I had the opportunity to live in London for six months, and I am very inspired by their use of textures, their traditional wainscoting, their pops of color from space to space, and the moody vibes that they bring to their design,” she adds. Our Grady sofa brings a stately sense of luxury in deep mossy green velvet, balanced by a comfortably simple modern silhouette.

“MY FAVORITE SOURCE OF INSPIRATION IS TRAVEL. I HAVE A SERIOUS WANDERLUST, AND MY TRAVELS GREATLY INFLUENCE MY DESIGN WORK FOR ALMOST ANY PROJECT.”

Ultimately, Heather sees this space as ideal for a style-loving family that also prioritizes comfort. With four children of her own, she often designs with the needs of young families in mind, balancing beautiful design with practical function. Bringing together contemporary wood, traditional plaids and understated elegance created the ideal mix of elements, offering “this moment of sitting on a comfortable upholstered piece with the perfect table, a touch of chandelier and a great wall feature.” Every area is designed with relaxation in mind, says Heather, who “would love to cozy up in this dining corner with some breakfast and a good book!”

“[I LOVE ROWE BECAUSE] EVERYTHING IS CUSTOMIZABLE IN SIZE, AVAILABLE IN PERFORMANCE FABRICS, AND HAS A RELAXED LOOK AND FEEL.”

My Rowe Design by Alison A refined global aesthetic featuring warm, earth-toned textiles and intriguing textures delivers a sense of excitement and discovery in Alison’s My Rowe Design space, inspired by the allure of travel. A large grouping of seating options features our spacious Madeline slipcover sofa along with the Ellice lounger, Ingrid chairs and Cleo ottomans, creating a welcoming space for entertaining both small groups and large parties. An upscale bohemian blend of brass, jute, and patterns ranging from African to Southwestern influence creates the ideal environment for those who love lounging in luxury.

“THE INSPIRATION BEHIND MY ROWE DESIGN IS EARTHINESS AND TEXTURE. I LOVE FILMS LIKE THE ENGLISH PATIENT AND OUT OF AFRICA WHERE THE STYLE IS THAT SORT OF CLASSIC SAFARI VIBE.”

Simple geometric forms are a recurring theme in Alison’s My Rowe Design, from the long bench seats of the sofa and lounger to the round ottomans, echoed in the circular shapes seen in the lighting, mirrors and accessories. “As I sorted through the fabrics and made selections,” she says, “I realized I was channeling that [safari] feel, with the palette of olive, creams, browns and blacks.” Solid woven textiles in rich yet natural hues provide a welcome counterpoint to the layers of pattern in the space. “The lines on the furniture were purposely kept modern, as was the lighting,” says Alison, adding, “I love the mix!”

“I IMAGINE THIS SPACE FOR A FAMILY WHO IS SOPHISTICATED AND WORLDLY, BUT VERY FRIENDLY AND CASUAL.”

Alison's Favorite... Rowe Piece: The Asher Sectional Sofa is pretty great. We used it in a project a few years ago, and always get compliments on it. Go-to Material: Stripes, velvets, and stubby linens. Place to Find Inspiration: I love being inspired by fantastic hotels. I feel like they’re places where designers are often allowed to be “extra,” so that the guests’ experience is truly transportive.

Nicole Salceda EYE FOR PRETTY @eyeforpretty Nicole Salceda’s career in interiors began as a passion for making polished, functional design more accessible. After beginning her career in the field of education, she founded her Danville, CA-based interior design studio to create homes that reflect her warm, minimalist style. The Eye for Pretty team serves clients in the Bay Area, assembling elements that are old, new, handmade, and thrifted to craft spaces that are understated yet full of life. Each refined detail is a testament to Nicole’s “eye for pretty,” her distinct penchant for bringing a room together.

My Rowe Design by Nicole Salceda Nicole’s inspiration began with the multitude of upholstered pieces available from Rowe and Robin Bruce, resulting in a cozy conversation area featuring our Florence and Boden sofas, a pair of Bernie swivel chairs and a pair of Cleo ottomans. “I definitely am inspired by frame styles first,” says Nicole, explaining, “I feel by choosing the frame first, it dictates what direction you want to go in with the fabric and color story.” A palette of creamy whites and warm neutral performance fabrics provides an easygoing complement to Nicole’s streamlined, comfortable seating selections. “My favorite design element of the space is the blend of light and dark,” adds Nicole, who opted for high contrast artwork along with dark wood and black accents to help ground the space.

“THE PERFORMANCE-FRIENDLY FABRICS MIXED WITH LINEN AND WOOD [IN MY ROWE DESIGN] IS A SIGNATURE EYE FOR PRETTY BLEND.”

Entertaining and relaxation were both of the utmost importance to Nicole when dreaming up her My Rowe Design, who ultimately aimed for an elevated, warm, family hangout space. “I thought about a room I would like to spend time in with my family, as well as entertaining guests,” says the designer. A mix of durable natural fibers and performance fabrics creates a living area whose beauty will endure for years to come. “This is a space I hope would be multi-functional for the family that lives in it,” Nicole says, adding that, “it’s comfortable and beautiful and really feels like a well-lived-in space.”

“YOU COULD EASILY SPEND A NIGHT [IN THIS SPACE] WATCHING TV, OR KICK THE KIDS OUT AND HOST YOUR FRIENDS FOR DRINKS. I TRULY BELIEVE THIS WOULD BE A SPACE MOST PEOPLE WOULD LOVE TO SPEND TIME IN!”

Nicole's Favorite... Rowe Piece: The Boden Sofa — from the long bench seat cushion to the cozy fill and fabric, this is a classic piece that not only is a best seller but one I have in my own home, and I love it! Go-to Material: When it comes to performance fabrics, Crypton is king. We design for so many busy families, it’s a must! Place to Find Inspiration: I often have very vivid dreams that inspire me. Sometimes they are design-related, sometimes business-driven, and sometimes they are just things that make me a better person.
