A small installation to make children understand Light through Reflection through entertainment and self exploration. This installtion was interactive with people by placing the mirrors with each other in an angle and then focusing on the mirror globe.

In this installation, all the materials used are either ecofriendly or reused from waste material. The main idea of the structure for its shape came from Fibonachi circle. The entire structure was made out of Raw Bamboo to give it a spiral effect

as the material itself is highly tensile. The internal reflected materials were made out of broken mirrors obtained from a glass vendor of any irregular shape.

Basic Tools for cooking

A shortlisted entry in the product design category of N.A.S.A. during the academic year of 2013-2014. The brief was to design an Indian product which uses traditional methods of cooking.

The product we choose was the ‘Peeler’. This product could be used by all kinds of people. Our target was to make this product Easily used by a ‘Blind man’.

Product Design - Hand peeler

Blind people

The main problem we faced to design this product was to clean the product after use. But due to the details, it could be removed and cleaned by washing with water. A very small product and could be kept at any place in the kitchen, requires very less space. A very

light weight Material and could be worn in both the hands.

7

A very cost efficient and easily manufactured and can be made available by simply collaborating with glove makers. With small additions to the gloves it can be made easily available to the vendors.

8

The brief of the competition was to provide housing by keeping the essence of the society the same with a more habitable space. On analysing the existing redevelopment schemes, one understands that, rigid designs made by the developers and architects do not suit the lifestyle

and needs of urban poor, hence, we aim at providing a basic framework of plinths, service blocks and the structural system and allowing the people to build the rest according to their needs using participatory planning.Providfing them with a kit of parts.

Gsen - 2012-13 (Jijamata Nagar, Worli)

Participatory planning is an urban planning paradigm that empasizes involving the entire community in the strategic and management processes of urban planning; or, community - level planning proces; urban or rural. It is often considered as part of community development.

9

This typology of Housing could be provide to the people of occupation at their homes with involvement of people outside the comunity to minimum, As these structures are provided inside the community at a higher level with lower levels as housing for privacy and natural ventiilation purpose and occupation on the attic or First floor.

Module typology 1

The people here need some open space for their occupation and requires an attach structure for storage and small work station to work in shade. Here the ratio of people working are comparatively more than the reisdence is considered.

Module typology 2

This Typology shows Only Housing and not for people with occupation within housing. It has the most housing amenities and attached Toilet. The space below the housing is made for the children play area and for small discussion within the comunity. It also help in the informal dialogue between people within the community creating a strong bond between them.

Module typology 3
