PRODUCT CHART
We’ve simplified our product chart and added a couple of columns to help make your buying decisions easier.
"MCO" = Minimum Cabinet Opening. Our recommended minimum cabinet opening dimensions are based upon installation into 1-1/2” face frame cabinets. This is important because occasionally the width of the product is wider than the part of the product that pulls out of the cabinet.
When both face frame and frameless dimensions are needed, we have listed them as FFMCO and FLMCO. The FF is for face frame and the FL for frameless (aka full access).
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
You will notice that our charts contain columns that
CAB's for that specific product. Below you will find a bank of what those letters mean.
"CAB" = Typical Cabinet. We get it, professionals just want to know what size cabinet the product is designed for. So we've tried to identify the typical cabinet for each of our products.
When both face frame and frameless typical cabinet recommendations are provided we have listed them as FF for face frame and FL for frameless (aka full access). Note: unless otherwise noted, typical cabinet recommendations are based upon 1-1/2” face frame cabinet construction.
Celebrating years!
For over four decades, our commitment to delivering original products, meticulously designed and crafted at our facility in Louisville, Kentucky has been unwavering. Our tradition of innovation continues as we once again introduce a new range of solutions designed to enhance storage and organization in various spaces, from kitchens, bathrooms, closets, pantries and beyond.
Where it began
In 1961 with funding from their family and friends, Harry and Larry Jones started a one machine plastic manufacturing operation. Along with their wives Nancy and Skeet, and six children in tow, the family business began. Initially, Jones Plastic manufactured whiskey caps for liquor bottles. Excellence in quality and customer service led to growth, and soon they would produce everything from “Star Wars” toys for Kenner in the 1970s to appliance parts for General Electric. Another early plastic manufacturing job was for the “Revolve-A-Shelf,” a plastic lazy susan for a California company named Ajax Hardware.
In 1978, Jones Plastic expanded its holdings with the acquisition of that division of Ajax Hardware. The establishment of Rev-A-Shelf®, a division of Jones Plastic & Engineering Company, soon followed. As the Rev-A-Shelf® product family grew, so did Jones Plastic. In the early 90s, Jones Plastic pioneered the use of gas assist, high-speed molding, and component kitting. It was their expertise in molding and their reputation for helping their customers distribute products to the market that paved the way to success. It reduced handling labor and shipping costs, which prompted expansions in Kentucky, Tennessee, and locations in Monterrey and Juarez, Mexico.
Meanwhile, our product line, which originated as a manufacturer of metal and polymer lazy susan components, has since grown into the market-leading innovator of residential cabinet storage and organization products of both quality and functionality. “We had high
hopes for this company when we started it. With the help of so many hardworking employees and great leadership, Rev-A-Shelf® has grown into an international company with an unequivocal reputation for very high-quality storage solutions,” said Harry Jones.
For over 30 years, Tresco Lighting® has been committed to creating innovative and affordable products, reinforced by unequal quality and service. In 2011, Rev-A-Shelf® acquired Tresco® and the mission has remained the same. We continue to broaden product offerings, expand distribution, and develop growth. In 2023, we opened our new plant in Juarez, Mexico. Dedicated entirely to producing our wood products, the opening of the plant is another example of our commitment to providing cost-effective and quality products, made in North America. It expands capacity and reinforces our investment in the future.
