Serenity extractor fan This extractor fan is designed to be seen but not heard. Operating 80% quieter than standard fans and with the aesthetic appeal expected from Bisque, it will ensure that the bathroom is a place of tranquillity. The Serenity can be wall or ceiling mounted.

Valves Bisque radiators are as much about good looks as good performance. As standard radiator valves can often be ugly or obtrusive, we have chosen a range of discreet, well designed, top quality valves from Europeâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s leading manufacturers to complement our radiators. There are two types of valves: Manual valves have no labelled settings - simply turn the valve head until the radiator is giving out the amount of heat desired. They are most suitable for areas where your heating needs are fairly constant e.g. with towel rails, or where the preference is for a more subtle and discreet appearance. Thermostatic valves come with an in-built temperature sensor and have a range of temperature settings. The thermostatic valves will maintain the room at the temperature you have selected by automatically adjusting the heat output from the radiator. This means that you can take advantage of any â&#x20AC;&#x153;freeâ&#x20AC;? heat the room receives, such as that from the sun or from electrical equipment. Thermostatic valves are also useful for rooms that may have sudden large changes in occupancy e.g. dining rooms. Installation When deciding which valve set to use you will need to consider where the heating pipes are coming from i.e. the wall or the floor. The tables on the following pages indicate which of our valves sets are suitable for each option. Where possible, we would always recommend chasing the pipework into the wall (as you would with electric cables) so that the final installation is as attractive as possible. Long, spindly lengths of pipework can often mar the final look. Thermostatic valve heads should always be installed with the heads pointing upwards or to the side (as with straight or double angled valves). If they are installed with the heads pointing down, they will not work correctly and will need to be replaced. 190

Supplementary heaters Supplementary electric heaters are designed to heat towel radiators when the central heating is turned off in the summer months and there is still the need for warm, dry towels. Our standard supplementary heater, BTH, is non-adjustable but for some towel radiators there is the option to upgrade to an adjustable version (see below).

Accessories

Installation of a supplementary heater will affect the valve selection and pipe centres. We recommend the installation shown as a neat option for Bisque towel radiators but depending on the location of your pipework, you may need to discuss other options with your plumber.

Colours and special finishes The majority of our radiators are available from stock in at least 2-3 finishes, which we believe will complement most interiors. However, there are a wide range of other options available to order. Our most popular colours and finishes are shown on pages 206 â&#x20AC;&#x201C;207 but if your preferred finish is not shown, we can arrange for radiators to be painted in any RAL or NCS colour. To see which radiators are available in different colours and finishes please consult the tables on the following pages. Bisque also offer a unique colour matching service. All we require is a sample of the colour to be matched. Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance in choosing colours.

White Traffic White is a brilliant white designed to complement the finish of modern sanitaryware. Pure White is softer, and usually preferred for rooms other than bathrooms where Traffic White is considered too harsh. White Quartz and Matt White bring a contemporary, textured finish to interiors.
