編者的話 Words from Editor 恭喜你成為香港城市大學的學生！來到城大，相信大家亦百般滋味在心頭。無論你懷着怎樣的心情，向前看，未來的四年絕對是寶貴而短暫的。好好思考作為大學生的意義及未來的路，是踏入人生新階段的起點。社會往往給予大學生很多假設、想像。從前，大學生被視為優秀卓越的一群。現在，不少人認為大學生都是激進、反叛。無論你認不認同這些假設，大學生的身份在社會上是負有重量的。回到大學的根本，大學之道在明明德，在親民，在止於至善。可惜的是，香港各大學的道德基石及價值正被摧毀。先有浸大黑箱作業委任校長、然後有多間院校的老師遭受政治打壓，再有港大「等埋首副」事件等等。明辨是非，不平則鳴，將大學的知識和價值推己及人，推動社會進步，此時此刻，相信你我責無旁貸。大學是個很好的地方讓大家認清價值所在，辯則明，明則通，與不同看法、立場的同學溝通，就能弄清是非黑白，鞏固價值。各位新生，希望你們能及時把握身邊的機會，擴闊視野，於大學年間尋找到將來的路。

Congratulations for becoming a student of the City University of Hong Kong. It must be a time of having mixed feelings for you to join the CityU. Whatever your feeling or mood is, look forward. The upcoming 4 years are absolutely precious but short. It is the starting point of entering a new stage of your life to carefully consider the meaning of being a university student and the future path. Often the society has loads of expectations and anticipations. In the past, university students were seen to be a finest excellent class. Now, it is rather not uncommon that university students are regarded as radical and rebellious. Whether or not you agree with these presumptions, undeniably the identity of university student carries certain weight in our society. Getting to the root of “university”, “What the ‘Great Learning’ （大學）, in Chinese this phrase shares the same characters with “university”) teaches is: to illustrate illustrious virtue; to renovate the people; and to rest in the highest excellence.” Regrettably, the moral cornerstones and values of the universities in Hong Kong are being eroded. First there was the HKBU’s appointment of the President behind closed doors; then the teaching staffs in various institutions were in face of political suppressions; further later, the HKU’s delay in appointing the pro-vice-chancellor for academic staffing and development came into place. At this critical moment, we all share the responsibility which we cannot shirk. The University is the right place for us to make clear to ourselves what the cherished values are, the right place where we can make things clear by debating; the right place where we can exchange views with our fellow students with all sorts of views; the right place where by the above means, we are able to distinguish right from wrong and find our values. Dear newcomers, hopefully we can all promptly seize chances around and widen our horizon, so that our future paths can be found during these university years.

Furthermore, get to know your fellow students and make new friends with students both local and overseas, learn from each other’s cultures, habits and languages, and learn to become a global citizen.

Let me tell you that the best way to get an effervescent university life is be proactive. Participate fully in these activities and they will form an invaluable part of your CityU learning experience in your university life.

陳國康博士輔導長 Dr. Raymond Chan Dean of Students Associate Professor 也許還未踏進大學校門，已有人向你提及大學五件事：讀書、上莊、住hall、兼職及拍拖，也許亦會有人提社會責任。我亦想向各位新朋友提出多一項事情：好好地學習做一個成熟而負責任，能與持不同意見人士相處，懂得恰當地表達自己的年輕人。在這年頭，特別是社交媒體的興起，我們多了空間表達意見，但同時間「理性」、「包容」都被貼上負面標籤，使用「另類」詞彙且勇於「一針見血」的評論充斥。但在勇於／急於表達意見之時，可以先問問自已：我有多理解對方的觀點？我對人仍有最基本的尊重？我的反應對對方有否做成不必要的傷害？能在大學遇上，總是有幾分緣分，借用朋友在臉書上的說話：「輕輕地拿起，然後輕輕地放下；這是我們畢生學習要做到的一種謙卑與溫柔，讓你曾拿起的不受驚動，倒感溫熱安穩。」

There are many tasks for you to accomplish in your University study, such as the so-called five-items: study, be a society office-bearer, hall living, part-time job and courtship; and some might also add social responsibility. I would like add one more item: learn to be a mature and responsible young person, who is able to live with people with different opinions and know how to present their own appropriately. In these days, we are more ready to make comment openly and, perhaps, in a more aggressive manner. When we are so eager to have our opinion heard, perhaps we can ask ourselves before making comment: Do I really understand others viewpoints? Do I still present basic respect to others? Have my response caused any undesirable damage to others? There must be something that you have the encounter with others. Let me share with you few words from my friend’s Facebook: “Lift it up and put it down gently. This is what we have to learn in our entire life. With humility and tenderness, let’s not disturb those we have encountered, but instead, give them the feeling of warmth and security.”

各位新生，歡迎你們來到香港城市大學。踏入人生的一個新階段，你們從今起要背負「大學生」的身份在社會打滾，然而這一名銜背後，責任定必比權力多。短短四年的大學生涯，一分耕耘，一分收穫。要虛度這四年光陰只是彈指間的事，但若想把握這四年塑造屬於自己的大學生活，實在需要靠自己努力不懈地奮鬥。如果你還未找到理想的大學生活方向，這本手冊絕對有助你清晰地開展新生活。時間是永遠不足夠的，尤其當大學生活越趨豐富，上莊，兼職，功課，溫習，拍拖，時間就顯得更是緊絀。既然你無法選擇一天有多少小時，無法選擇你剩餘多少時間，就唯有決定如何使用剩餘的時間。盛年不重來，一日難再晨，及時當勉勵，歲月不待人。把握匆匆流逝的歲月，讓自己的大學生活無憾無悔。 Hello freshmen, welcome to City University of Hong Kong. Ascend to another stage of life, you now has become a university student, which gives you lots of responsibility to bear. Within the four years in Cityu, as you sow, so you reap. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go, therefore do not let your opportunity slip. away from your hand. Time is never enough, especially when your U life is getting colorful. You cannot decide how much time you have, so the only way to gain more time is to treasure every second, and make good use of your time. Prime age is only once, and the sun never rise twice in a day. 皇者之路服務大眾前要注意的事項

「上莊」，即擔任學生會各組織的幹事。「大學N件事」有無數個版本，但不論哪個版本，都離不開「上莊」二字。學生會作為代表城大同學的最大組織，蘊含著一股難以言喻的魅力。加入學生會確實能為你帶來不少福利，如獲資助參與各項活動、增加申請宿舍分數、得到親近「城大劉在錫」的機會等，但畢竟大學學生會與中學學生會不可同日而語，如果不想在四年大學生涯中背負污名，投身學生會前請慎思。如果參與學生會事務是你的志願，請緊記以下步驟，定能事半功倍。

第零步．報名參加迎新營之所以是第零步而非第一步，是因為參加迎新營並不是上莊的必備條件，尤其對於參與中央組織。不過，迎新營亦有其作用，不只是單單讓你尋歡作樂、「招friend子」，更重要的是令你早一步了解學生會架構，接觸該組織的現任莊員，物色志同道合的莊友。一句到尾，快人一步，理想達到。若然你現正身處木人巷，最好還是報名參加至少一個迎新營。值得一提的是，不少附屬組織和宿生會的成員均是在迎新營中結識的。

第一步．了解學生會架構想上莊，了解學生會架構至為重要。若然對架構一無所知就貿然上莊，恐怕會比建制派政改表決時更「蝦碌」。學生會常設組織主要分為五大類，分別為中央組織、學院及學部聯會（中莊）、學科聯會（科會）、附屬組織（AC）及宿生會（Hall莊）。

中央組織幹事會、評議會、編輯委員會及仲裁委員會為學生會之四大中央組織，在學生會常設組織中分別擁有不同範疇的最大權力，務求在行政、立法、司法「三權分立」的同時，亦有編輯委員會發揮「第四權」監察功能。 11

編輯委員會

幹事會為學生會之最高行政機關，由全體基本會員普選產生，負責處理學生會日常事務及行政工作，亦是學生會最主要的對外代表。幹事會每年均會舉辦各項大型活動供會員參與，如迎新營、城宴等，亦會不定期推出不同福利活動，而位於學術樓（一）四樓的零售店CutPrice與影印中心均由幹事會經營，令同學在城大的生活更為方便且多姿多采。

評議會為學生會最高的立法及監察機構，主要負責審核幹事會及編輯委員會的工作計劃書及財政預算、審核附屬組織的廢立、監察各組織的表現及處理一般處分事項。評議會的功能近似立法會，所有基本會員均可於開會日前往會議室R6159出席會議，會議詳請可留意評議會Facebook專頁。評議會轄下共有六個常設委員會，分別為秘書處、轄下組織事務委員會、財務委員會、會員事務委員會、會章及附則修訂委員會及行政委員會。

編輯委員會為學生會之最高出版機構，由全體基本會員普選產生，負責出版學生會刊物及擔任輿論監察的角色。你手持的迎新特刊，正是由編輯委員會出版，而其他由本會出版的刊物包括城大月報、CityPrint、號外等。城大月報報導校園及社會事件，CityPrint則旨在為會員拓展學術、文化及思想上的視野。有興趣投稿的同學，歡迎電郵至 cityueditorialboard@gmail.com。

仲裁委員會

仲裁委員會為學生會之獨立仲裁機構，負責學生會一切仲裁及詮釋事宜，在學生會內擔當重要角色。仲裁委員會並非只許法律系同學參與，就讀任何科目的會員均可向幹事會自薦成為仲裁員。

學院及學部聯會

慣稱「中莊」的學院及學部聯會，是伴隨學院制收生的產物，為未選擇主修科目的新生服務。由於中莊會員涵蓋學院及學部所有學生，故舉辦的活動普遍較學科聯會更具規模。中莊亦會提供選科資訊，對新生甚有幫助，不妨多加留意。我校目前共有三個中莊，分別為商學院及學部聯會、人文社會科學院及學部聯會以及科學及工程學院及學部聯會。惟科學及工程學院今年起不再沿用學院制收生，中莊的定位或會改變。

宿生會

慣稱「AC Soc」，可理解為興趣學會。學生會會員可自由加入AC Soc成為會員，不過因學生會不予補貼，大部分會向會員收取會費，金額因「Soc」而異。AC Soc能凝聚志同道合的同學，為會員提供各種活動。 *學科聯會及附屬組織數目繁多，詳細名單列於後頁。

慣稱「Hall莊」，每一座宿舍均有其Hall莊，為宿生服務。加入宿生會能大幅提升回宿的機會，亦能為你的「Hall Life」生色不少。由於資源由校方學生宿舍處（SRO）提供，故宿生會與學生會的關係一向較為疏離。

熟讀上述資訊對上莊相當重要，特別是想參與中央組織的同學，以上資料只屬入門水平。 13

第二步．皇上請三思第二步重要度︰上錯莊比娶錯老婆嫁錯郎更嚴重。萬一在任期內力有不逮，被處分事小，浪費會員資源事大，隨時落得被口誅筆伐的窘境。因此，在上莊前，請必三思而後行。上莊有甚麼意義，會有甚麼得著，問十個曾上莊的人，會有十一個答案。雖然如此，決定上莊前，也應該知道自己為甚麼要上莊。捫心自問願意為上莊犧牲多少，為上莊堅持到甚麼地步。種種答案無分對錯，但只有慎思過後問心無愧，你才有資格踏上征途。

第三步‧招莊會招莊會由各組織舉辦，用作招攬下莊，形式不盡相同，但主要是讓大家認識「上莊」（即上屆莊員）和「老鬼」（即去屆莊員），介紹該組織的工作及服務範圍，以及讓想上莊的同學聚首一堂，開始組莊。招莊會過後，有任何不明白的地方，不妨多纏著上莊和老鬼，虛心求教，想必他們亦樂於協助。招莊會的時間、地點和日期會由每支現莊各自發放，有關資料一般列於大學道兩側的壁報版及各Facebook專頁。想上莊又不去招莊會等於放棄治療，所以重要度無需多提吧！

第四步‧組莊、參選、宣傳、Con Day 每支候選莊的必經之路，同時是令曾上莊的人皆聞之色變的一段路。按每支莊的人數要求組好莊後，你就可以向該組織所屬的大選委員會提交報名表格及有關文件，如參選人身份證明、學生證副本、提名人及和議人名單等，詳情必需向有關大選委員會仔細了解。確認參選權後，就可以開始為期約兩週的宣傳了。宣傳期不是指九月、十月那些意義不明的「曬莊」，而是指不用裝神弄鬼，認認真真的宣傳工作。常見的「一月莊」宣傳期約在十一月，屆時各候選內閣將使出渾身解數，包括派發用一年也用不完的文具、在「三上四」（即圖書館上方）瘋狂「嗌莊」，運氣好的話，也有機會遇上認真介紹政綱的傻佬。至於宣傳期內要做的，簡而言之就是爭取選民的支持，從他們手上奪得寶貴的一票。「Con day」全寫為Consultation day，「古時」Con day的目的是讓會員了解候選內閣的理念及政綱，並在近距

離接觸下對參選人有進一步的認識。多屆老鬼則會在場提出重要問題，傳授經驗予新莊。奈何今天不少Con day 已演變為老鬼「大石砸死蟹」，將自己上莊以來的怨氣一併發洩，較溫和的老鬼則會問及你的家庭、健康、感情、日常起居、寵物，務求讓你的生活赤祼祼地呈現在觀眾眼前。至於觀眾，手執一包鹹香花生，足矣。

完成以上幾步，接下來就是投票日，那時候亦只能聽天由命。有幸當選的話，恭喜你，你可以開始一年的艱苦修練了。四年大學生活一瞬即逝，除非你有上莊（與GPA及defer無關）。上莊的歲月度日如年，卻可以讓你放慢大學生活急促的節奏，認真思考自己到底想幹甚麼，想要甚麼。「我是誰，我從哪裡來，要往哪裡去」，上莊，或許能帶給你答案，因為漫長的一生只有那麼一次機會嘗試拚命付出，不問回報。

狂戰士實習／兼職秘笈

大學的上課時間比較彈性，不少人也會選擇在課餘時間做兼職或到公司實習，藉此了解行業要求以預早裝備相關能力，使職場上路向更為明確。打工大致分為兩類：兼職工作及實習(Internship)，而實習亦可細分為無薪、有薪、暑期性、一年性。有別於兼職，實習目的為未來職途的試點，除了可了解你感興趣的工作實習環境外，亦可趁機會建立相關人際網絡。可是，有機構以實習之名招攬大學生，卻在實習期內只讓學生負責普通文書工作，完全沒有機會接觸行內實際工作。當然每個行業也會有一定程度文書工作，建議同學在選擇實習工作時，不要漁翁撒網，清楚了解工作類別及性質，以質重於量的取決原則，才不致浪費時間。

校內實習／兼職校內提供學生的實習工作及兼職機會，包括Campus internship scheme 及 Campus work scheme。同學可於AIMS → Student Service → Campus Internship/Work Scheme → Job Search了解相關空缺，亦可於http://www6.cityu.edu.hk/caio/ciscws/index.asp 了解詳情。

而入學新生在第一個學期未有CGPA之下，亦可報名申請。

本地校外實習／兼職校外實習多以暑假6至8月份為主，市面上亦有一年性質的實習機會，以讓學生全面了解行業環境。在外國，不少大學生也會take gap year投入實習工作，城大學生亦可效法。

1.JobPlus 此為城大學生專用的搵工平台，學生可於AIMS→ Student Service → JobPlus Vacancies → I agree，然後按工作模式及性質分類的設置搜尋，了解市場的工作空缺。

2. Joint Institute Job Information System 此為大專院校學生專用的工作匯點，所有工作針對學生而設，同學需註冊才可使用服務。

海外實習除了本地實習外，你亦可留意本校Career and Leadership Centre的海外實習資訊及自行跟海外機構聯系。要知道大學生資本是時間，若你想多了解國際機構運作，實習是很好的試點，了解個人在適應國際工作環境的能力。若有經濟困難，你亦可申請Joseph Lau Non-local Internship Awards （劉鑾雄境外實習獎），支援學生參加國內及海外實習。

打工支援 Career and leadership centre(CAIO)專責有關工作生涯規劃及資訊。每學期均有不定期的Resume Clinic 及interview Workshop & Practicum，同學留意其網頁。

鬥士之路投身運動員的路徑這條路最大的特點是，入U後才加入校隊的可能性較低，大部份成員在入學前已決定其Uteam身份。除非你是那萬中無一的隱世人才，否則絕難在幾年之間成為頂尖高手，因此未能事先加入校隊的有志者必須加倍努力。在此，筆者將簡介如何加入Uteam、Uteam歷程、以及加入後所能享的資源，惟各項運動差距較大，不能一概而論。

加入Uteam的三種方法 1. 運動員入學計劃這是院校各自設立的計劃，用作招攬運動方面有傑出成就的學生。一般來說，學生需至少為港隊成員，經由中學推薦和教練或球會推薦，才可能經運動員入學計劃入學。由於已入學者再難用上此途徑加入Uteam，筆者在此也不作多談。此計劃由SDS負責，詳情可參考其網頁。值得一提的是，修讀副學士的同學可以遞交申請，透過此計劃入讀學士學位。

2. 認識教練加入球圈等待時機能用這個方法的，通常是運動員計劃中的滄海遺珠，大多在高中時已活躍於學界比賽、港隊甚至國際賽。特別是籃球及足球等團體運動，由於一隊人數眾多，獲運動員入學計劃的門檻更高。但同樣地，因校隊位置較多，他們往往能透過Uteam內的教練或朋友介紹而加入訓練，再等待機會正式成為Uteam隊員。不同運動雖各有標準，但都離不開認識教練或球圈中人。

3. 主動報名進行測試參加公開遴選原則上，每一種運動的Uteam都會公開接受加入Uteam的申請，只是成功率極低。每一年，不同運動種類的校隊成員會派出一個代表組成STC(Sports Team Council)。每年的新生註冊日，木人巷均設有STC的攤位，新生可以在該處報名申請。而每位STC member將處理交予給自己隊伍的報名申請，而處理手法亦各異。以籃球為例，新生會在報名後不久在電話或電郵收到籃球隊公開遴選的日期及時間；泳隊則是分別聯絡每位報名者進行測試，觀察其表現。只不過，通過公開遴選加入Uteam的機會不大，熱門運動尤甚。在2014至2015年度，事前未有參加球圈訓練，而又能通過公開遴選加入男子籃球校隊的人數為零。 19

運動員的福利

1. 運動員獎學金 Scholarship(s) for Student Athletes 這個計劃的對象是透過運動員計劃入學的學生，一共分為兩部份。第一部份是住宿獎學金 (Residence Scholarship)，每年名額40名，最多可獲$10,200；第二部份是運動員入學獎學金(Outstanding Athletes Entrance Scholarships)，每年名額15名，每年可獲$20,000或$40,000，只要每學年的CGPA 達2.5或以上，及在運動方面有良好表現，便能繼續獲發獎學金，直至完成本科課程。

2. 申請宿舍活動分 Hall Registration- Score B 除了透過運動員計劃入學的運動員外，Uteam的隊員以正常途徑申請宿舍時亦有一些分數，包括在校內參與不同活動或擔任不同的職責時可得到宿分。城大運動代表隊領袖或訓練員(CityU Sports Team Council Member/Trainer)：40分；城大運動代表隊隊長(CityU Sports Team Captain)：30分；城大運動代表隊隊員 (CityU Sport Team Member)：20分。其實，有需要的校隊成員可以找教練向學校提出住宿要求，這會大大提升成功申請宿舍的機會。

3. Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) and Reaching-Out Award (ROA) 這兩個項目雖然不是專設給運動員，但Uteam成員卻很容易達成要求。TDS是設以鼓勵學生進修及發展他們在學術範疇的天賦，運動員亦可申請，一年最多可獲$10,000，申請者的 CGPA需要達到3.0或以上，以及曾在相關領域得到傑出獎項或成就。而ROA是資助學生參加香港以外的一些交流、活動、實習甚至比賽，最多可獲$10,000，CGPA必須達至3或以上。

4. 各類專設給運動員的獎學金 Scholarships for Selected Athletes 再來就是種類繁多，要求各異的獎學金，專設給運動方面有良好表現的學生，合共約100個名額，運動員宜把握機會，萬勿錯失。如Mr. Herman Hu Outstanding Sports Talents Scholarships，同學每年可獲$50,000至$90,000不等，名額3 至4個。詳情可參考。

至於比賽方面，香港大專學界體育協會設有16個常規項目，共有11間大專院校參與競賽，賽程及其他詳細資料均可在 http://www.usfhk.org/找到。當然還有兩年一度的世界大學運動會、各項運動的錦標賽和公開比賽。但由於比賽項目眾多，實難統一介紹，筆者在此不贅。將Uteam比左鬥士，也沒有誇大其詞，校隊成員接受訓練，代表學校出賽，常常南征北討，卻仍要兼顧學業，外人看來風光無限，實質非常刻苦，以鬥士作比，也相當恰當。

智者之路書中自有黃金屋

聯校閱讀證 Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC) Library Cards 聯校閱讀證 (JULAC)有別於通行城大圖書館的學生證，適用於「教資會」屬下八所院校的圖書館。持證者可登記進入所有JULAC大學圖書館，包括教院、中大、浸大、港大、嶺大及理大，作個人研習及於館內閱覽館藏。而科大圖書館一向對外開放，只要持有城大或其他大學的學生證即可進入科大圖書館。所有「教資會」資助之全日制及兼讀學士學位課程學生均可申請聯校閱讀證，由每年度的8月1日至翌年7月31日，證件有效期為一學年。費用方面，每所圖書館均在每學年收取 $50之登記費用，同學可於城大圖書館網頁申請。

資料庫 DATABASE 同學在做功課時少不了要透過Database找尋相關資料，大學訂閱了不少學術資料庫，同學可在圖書館網頁中點擊 E-Resources—Database—Subject list 另外亦可瀏覽以下的Database: The CityU Scholarly Repository City U內的學術性文章 WiseNews 提供多個媒體發佈的新聞內容，範圍涵及香港、澳門、台灣及中國 Google Scholar 免費學術文章及資料搜尋器，部分書籍及文章或需付款訂閱，同學可連結至 “Findit@CityU”，以享用校內圖書館訂閱範圍內的學術資料。

English Language Centre (ELC) ELC 是一個英語學習服務平台，你可以參加其定期舉辦的英語課程，包括Writing, Pronunciation, Presentation skills workshop。另外，ELC亦設有writing 及speaking studio，同學可在網上預約，在預定時間享用一對一諮詢服務。此外，學校亦有提供IELTS 學習支援，同學除可於網上預約報讀相關課程，亦可於網上Road to IELTS程式自行溫習。 22

城大流浪者行萬里路想以大學生身份見識世界，去其他國家學習，認識不同文化背景的朋友？成為城大的流浪者，你能擁有各種出國交流的機會，在semester A & B甚至暑假期間，都有與世界各地大學合作的交流計劃。

Sem A＆B的交流計劃機制設兩輪申請，第一輪（first round）在大約一月進行，為分配下一學年sem A＆B的交流生學額；第二輪 (second round)在大約九月進行，為分配該學年sem B的剩餘交流學額。學額分為三個層次，分別是university level 、college level和department level，三個level的分別代表了交流時讀那一類型的課程，如經department level申請，交流時讀的課程便主要為和主修學科相關的課程。所以，出發前要先計算好學分（credit）並跟學系負責交流計劃的老師商討轉換學分的程序啊！

Summer的交流計劃各學院及學系都個別設有暑期的交流計劃，大約為期一個月至兩個月不等。個別學院允許同學完成交流後開展旅程，自行回港, 即stay behind。 23

歷險秘笈

捷徑想去西歐國家或一些世界排名較高的大學作交流，IELTS和GPA成績就是取決關鍵。GPA不到3的同學亦不用灰心，因可靠IELTS拉補分數，能去到東歐大學的機會也很大。

相信資金方面會是同學考慮去交流與否的重要因素。其實城大亦提供很多財政支援，讓同學可分擔交流時的支出。

Student Exchange Fund 每個成功獲取交流名額及達到指定要求的同學都很大機會獲得這基金。

各學系的個別交流獎學金個別學系自設一定限額的交流獎學金，同學須經面試及達所需要求。另外，有經濟困難的同學在以下的交流獎學金及資助中會獲優先考慮。

淘金者歷險必備資源

四年的歷險支出可說是不多不少，同學如想減輕財政壓力，考取獎學金可是其中一個理想的方法。有關的詳細資料列於AIMS內以供同學申請，選擇多不勝數，但類型大致可分為五個競選準則，1.優秀成績表現、2.學校及社區貢獻、3.外國交流、4.全人發展、5.家庭財政困難，亦有其他獎學金針對住宿、體育發展而設。以下舉出小部份例子，有興趣同學請自行查閱。

以優秀成績表現競選入學獎學金(entrance scholarship) 只適用於個別學系或學院。申請者通常以表現較出色成績平均積點 (GPA)角逐。另外，運動員亦就其體育表現申請以15個名額為限的入學獎學金。

政府獎學金 (government- funded scholarship) 城大獎學金 (City U scholarship) 為表現學術表現卓越的學生，凡於每學年Semester B考獲GPA 3.7或以上，或是在所屬學院名列前茅，即可申請。此適用於本地及非本地生。同時間，城大亦有同類型獎學金，未獲入學獎學金的本地及非本地生均可申請，每年 9月合資格學生亦可能會收到電郵邀請。

以學校及社區貢獻競選 The FANs Awards -Andrew Fan Student Award Scheme - Top Outstanding Student Leader Awards 凡學生領袖於大學或社區作持續性貢獻，考獲 GPA 2.5或以上及達致一系列個人領導才能的準則，即可申請一次性一萬元獎學金，名額十個。

The FANs Awards - Academic Improvement Awards for Student Leaders 凡在校內擔任學生會職務的學生領袖，於Semester B考獲 GPA 2.5或以上，成嫌並有非常顯著進步，便可申請。

以支援外國交流、國際性活動而設不同學院及學系均設有獎學金支援，學生只要在確認獲得出國交流機會後可申請。值得一提的是，政府「外展體驗獎」(Reaching Out Award)是為支持由院校提名的優異學生到香港境外，參加由院校舉辦或認可的學習、實習或服務計劃，以及國家、地區和國際性活動及比賽而設，申請成功者可獲得一萬元。

鼓勵全人發展 Fang Brothers Whole Person Development Scholarships/ 才藝發展獎學金此類獎學金要求學生在完成基本學術表現，亦要在多元發展中表現優秀，才可競逐。

家庭財政困難此類金額為助學金或借貸形式發放，同學若有緊急經濟困難，亦可申請校內的緊急助學撥款。三個字，努力讀書吧同學。

挑戰者創新踏前比賽奪獎若無父幹，成功便需苦幹，參加各式比賽亦是闖出事業的一步好棋，其中可獲之人脈、獎金及經驗會比你想像中更多。蘊釀了數年，Start-up風潮總算吹到香港，而在各方順應之下，機會俯拾皆是，其中最多的是零成本商業或科技創業比賽。若要為大學五件事再添一項，筆者必投這些比賽一票。值得一提的是，在此筆者介紹一些相對著名的比賽，但向大家推介的各類資源和平台，才是真正的升lv秘笈。

一.收集資訊之平台或媒介資訊爆炸僅為口號，珍貴的訊息永遠不會自動找上門，只有懂得篩選及擴展所聞者才能豐收。以下是關於這些平台的懶人包。

1.香港矽谷

2.StartUpBeat

資訊匯集處。小至某公司董事講辭，各類科技產品情報，大至產業概況和數據，革命性理論發布。它涉獵範疇極廣，資訊覆蓋面大，雖要再費時篩選，但對同步自身和現今科技水平極有功效。

信報旗下，專門負責有關創業的動態。偏向新聞類的資訊，瑣碎小情報較少，常有本地新科創企業的資訊。

3.數碼港主要留意Funding、活動及比賽便足夠了。

4.StartUpsHK 英文科創閱讀平台，但整理好不同活動的日期時間等資訊，極為方便有用。

5.城大Innovation Commons 主要發佈所謂成功貼士，整理好的一專界的科創活動，也常在城大舉行有關科創的講座。

6.其他建議偉大航道、TecHKU、StartUpsHK、新媒體世代等。上述平台只是香港最基本的資訊覓集中心，需關注程度次一等的多不勝數，如香港科技園、青協、貿發局等。另外，若想瀏覽國外的有關網站，只要留意上述平台轉載的資料來源，很快便可摸到一層新的資訊平台。 28

二.可用的資源 Update 自己僅為第一步，第二步則是搜羅更多可用的資源。

三.著名比賽及活動既具Idea，又有人脈及資金者，當然可以跳過這一步。但這些比賽對起跑線較別人落後的人卻是十分有用。在你完成收集資訊這一步後，有關比賽的資訊自然接踵而來，在此介紹比較著名的比賽以讓大家參考。

1.Hackathon hk 一年一度的學界IT盛事，上兩屆在UST舉辦。核心內容是24小時不斷的coding比賽，但事前有很多workshop支援參加者。

2.匯豐青年創業大獎獎金獎品豐厚，支援全面，商業主導，難度高，門檻亦高，建議從零開始者先勿急於參加。

3.Empowering Young Entrepreneurs Program 這是Google與中大合作舉辦支援科創的活動，整個項目歷時約半年，所有大專學生均可參加，支援全面。

遊吟詩人 GAP Year的想像 Gap year，亦稱為空檔年或休學年，大多是指在高中畢業後、升大學前的一年空檔。雖然香港並無正式的gap year，但你仍可在大學時期申請休學一年。相較香港，gap year 在西方國家流行得多，不少學生都會選擇在gap year做些自己有興趣的事，例如進修、出國旅遊、或是當兵。要有充實的休學年，勇氣必不可少。若你膽小如鼠，只求安逸，旦求在四年後安安穩穩畢業，休學年未必適合你。相反，若你勇於脫離安逸，探索世界，發掘未知的領域，休學年確實不錯。一年空檔能讓你培養責任感，變得更加獨立。

休學年做甚麼？一.參加義工計劃不少非牟利志願組織提供時期不一的海外義務工作，短至一、兩星期，長至一年不等。你可按工作性質及國家，選擇義務工作。香港非政府志願組織義遊每年提供全球逾100個國家、超過3,000 個國際工作營及義工服務計劃。義務工作種類涵蓋環境、農務、文化、建設、社會工作及教育等，例如你可協助創建生態村、採摘有機水果、幫助弱勢人士，或者參與考古工作。

二.進修此外，亦有機構提供在外學習語言等進修課程。同學可在外地生活，一邊學習語言，一邊與當地居民溝通，融入當地文化，更有效率地完成課程。有些中介公司亦會協助提供住宿及課餘活動，但收費較高。你不妨先報讀人文社會科學院開辦的外語基礎課程，包括日、韓、德、法及西班牙語，認清自己的興趣，再按經濟能力選擇在外語言課程。

三.工作假期香港政府與新西蘭、澳洲、愛爾蘭、德國、日本、加拿大、韓國、法國、英國及奧地利政府分別簽訂了工作假期計劃的雙邊安排協議。18至30歲香港居民持有離境交通票或相應資金，並出示經濟證明，以顯示有足夠能力負擔在當地逗留初期的費用，便可申請為期一至兩年的工作假期簽證。 30

四.旅遊旅行得以讓人重新思考人生。在「自己安排、自己完成」的大前提下，用一年的時間讓自己處於陌生的國度，脫離平日的生活，遊歷未知的地方，藉此認識自己更多，走出安逸。

申請休學? 1.申請須知每次休學申請最長可為一個學年。提交休學申請前，最好先諮詢系主任，了解申請對你的學業有何影響。你亦可在教務處網頁獲取申請休學的資訊，包括申請程序及應繳費用。

2.申請程序透過城大AIMS系統辦理休學申請：登入「AIMS」選擇「Student Record」選擇「My Applications (for Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate Programmes)」選擇「Leave of Absence」仔細閱讀Notes to Students，填寫並遞交申請表

3.申請費用你須在每學期course add/drop period完結前（即第二週）提交休學申請，否則申請可能不獲考慮。如果申請獲批，則需要繳交每學期港幣$1,500的費用作為「留位費」，以延續學生身份。同學在休學期間仍可使用如圖書館、電腦等設施，但須搬離學生宿舍。

4.通知學生資助辦事處若你已申請各項政府資助計劃或無入息上限貸款計劃，緊記在休學申請獲批後，立即通知學生資助處。

無線網絡連線服務 Wireless LAN Access Services 城大校園範圍內均有無線網絡覆蓋，你可以透過不同電子儀器連線至 WiFi 網絡。 The CityU campus is covered by Wi-Fi networks, you can connect them with your own electronic devices to go online.

1. CityU WLAN 城大校園範圍內使用，同學只需要輸入 EID 及密碼，就可以連接至互聯網。 Within the campus area the CityU WLAN is used, you can connect to it by inserting your personal EID and password.

2. University WiFi University WiFi 為各大專院校範圍內使用（包括城大、港大、中大、理大、科大、浸大、嶺南、教院），同學只需要輸入〈EID〉@cityu.edu.hk 及密碼，就可以連接至互聯網。 University WiFi is set for campus areas within some of the universities in Hong Kong (including CityU, HKU, CU, PolyU, UST, BU, LingU, and HKIEd). 行政資訊管理系統

AIMS 是一個校內網上平台，主要用作分享學務資訊。較常用的有以下數項： AIMS is a multiple online platform aimed at sharing academic information for students. The frequently used functions are showed below.

(i) Student Record 你可查看個人資料、成績、考試時間表及學費資料等。 “My Student Status” 包括你的個人資料及就讀學科的資料，可作為一個臨時的學歷證明。 “My Finance” 中有你們關心的學費問題，包括學費金額及到期付款日，也能在這裡辦理申請延交學費。

(ii) Course Registration 此為新生報讀 courses（reg 科）或查閱上課時間表的連結。詳見後頁介紹選科程序。

(iii) Student Services 此頁為校園資源資訊站，包括獎學金、校內工作及實習空缺、申請宿舍、學校儲物櫃等資料均可在此獲取，是十分重要的資訊索取渠道。

(iv) Study Plan 此頁可幫助你們計劃學習進程。 “DegreeWorks”是個學習歷程記錄及協助工具，顯示同學已註冊學科、已讀學分、剩餘所需的學分和科目等，有助同學計劃學習進度，盡早達到目標。 “Declaring a Home Major” 中提供主修科目的門檻數據，為入讀心儀科目必需參考資料。

Canvas & Turnitin

Canvas 為重要的學習平台，在學期內修讀課程的筆記和簡報下載、功課遞交，以至老師跟學生互動通訊，也能運用此平台。同學可在“Courses”的選項揀選學期內修讀課程，以連結相應資訊，操作簡單。另外，我們在 Canvas 遞交功課時，會經過防止剽竊工具 Turnitin 的審查，功課會經過系統評核與其他已公開文件作比較，並列出相似度。要注意，同學是不可以將一份功課重覆於不同學科遞交的。

Canvas is an important learning platform, providing services like lecture notes and powerpoint downloading, assignment submission and communication with professors. Students may easily access the “Course” session and check for information on their enrolled courses. Also, students’ assignment submissions would be checked by the “Turn It In” system for plagiarism, through comparing similarity between the submitted essay and a database of past works by everyone. Student should thus remember to avoid submitting the same essay for multiple courses.Lis

Email and CAP 電郵為同學獲得學校消息的重要工具，發放由課堂外與教授的交流以至校方大大小小的宣佈和通告。所以培養每天查閱電郵的習慣，城中大小事更萬無一失。

The CityU E-mail is an important tool for communicating in the campus, providing messages ranging from conversations with professors outside the classroom to any kind of school announcements. One should develop the habit of checking the CityU E-mail daily to keep himself informed of all the happenings in CityU. The majority of school messages would be sent to students’ CityU E-mail accounts everyday at 17:00, in the form of CityU Announcement Portal (CAP). Library Online Service 圖書館網上服務圖書館將會是你四年中經常使用的地方，盡快熟悉其服務，有助你踏出成功的一大步。在每年 SemA 開學時，圖書館都會舉辦各種工作坊以教授同學使用圖書館各設施。本科生可借用的條目數量為 20 項，為期 30 日。而媒體資源則可借用 2 項館藏為期 3 日。留意是有些被預約的條目會被要求提早交還。 The Library will be the place that you always go to. Be familiar with its service, would help you step forward to success. In every semester A, the library organizes different workshops to teach students about the use of library’s facilities. Undergraduates can borrow 20 materials for 30 days, reserve 6 materials, and use 2 media recourses for 3 days. Please pay attention that some of the materials can be called back for reserve booking, so you may need to return it earlier.

在職家庭及學生資助事務處為有經濟困難的全日制學生提供了不同的資助計劃，包括Grant（助學金）和Loan（資助計劃貸款）。助學金分為兩個部分，第一部分用於支付學費（Tuition fee grant），第二部分則為「學習助學金」（Academic expenses grant），如完成大學教育資助委員會的課程（UGC Funded Programme），便不用償還這筆資助。 Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA) provides different funding programs for full time students including grant and/or loan. Grants are divided into two parts: tuition fee grant and academic expenses grant. Students do not have to repay the grant funding if they have completed the listed UGC Funded Programmes.

而貸款則是用作填補學費與Grant的差距，或用作日常生活的費用。由於事務處會按同學的經濟背景而發放資助金額，有些同學未必能獲得全額資助。同學分別所獲得的助學金金額和可以申請的貸款金額（Loan under TSFS），均會在計劃申請結果通知書上註明。這筆貸款需要繳付利息，利率為年息一釐（1%），利息從還款日開始計算。 The loans under TSFS are used to fill the gap between tuition and Grant’s, or as the cost of everyday life. The amount of grant is released accorded to the economic background of the student. Some students may receive the half grant funding or less. The amount of the grant and/or loan under TSFS will be shown on the “Notification of thee Result of Application for financial assistance under TSFS” respectively. The interest rate of the loan under TSFS is 1% per annum and will be calculated from the date of repayment.

「車船津貼」可在申請Grant Loan的表上，一併申請。獲批的資格就是居住地點與學校距離超過十分鐘的步行時間，或者需要乘搭公共交通工具，同時獲批資助的同學。以上的資助計劃須每年申請一次（如有經濟上的需要）。申請成功後，助學金將分為兩次發放，分別在該學年的上及下學期繳交學費的日子前，轉賬至同學填寫的本人銀行戶口。 “Student Travel Subsidy (STS)” can be applied on the TSFS application form. To be eligible for the STS, student must be successful in the application for TSFS and reside beyond 10 minutes’ walking distance from student’s normal place of study and travel to school by public transport. Students have to apply for the financial assistance in each academic year. The approved grant and/or loan will be paid in two equal instalments. The financial assistance may be credited to your designated bank account.

全日制大專學生免入息審查貸款計劃

Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Full-time Tertiary Students (NLSFT) 如果自知家中環境富裕，但又不想靠家人的，或者，未能成功申請Grant Loan的同學，可以考慮申請這項貸款計劃。這筆貸款的利息不同上述的貸款，利息將由貸款發放日開始計算，詳情可瀏覽在職家庭及學生資助事務處的網站查詢。在完成的四年課程後，同學將需要在15年（「還款期」）均分為180期（以一個月為一期)，或在本處同意的較短還款期內以按月等額還款方式，全數償還全日制大專學生免入息審查貸款和累積利息。 If applicants are not eligible for the TSFS application, students may consider applying for the NLSFT loan scheme. NLSFT loan interest would be counted at the release date of the loan. For detail: http://www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/sfo/tc/schemes/nls_index. htm. The NLSFT loan borrowed by you and the interest accrued thereon are repayable in 15 years (Repayment Period) by 180 equal monthly instalments, or in a shorter Repayment Period by equal monthly instalments as agreed by the Office.

申請程序：以上兩項資助及貸款計劃均須透過學資處電子通——我的申請>網上平台於申請截止日期或以前填寫及遞交計劃申請書。申請人須登記成為「我的政府一站通」的用戶，並應保存有關用戶名稱及密碼以供日後登入之用。申請人應於遞交申請書日期起計七天內，將簽妥的聲明書（如選擇書面簽署）連同所需文件的副本（如收入證明副本、顯示上一財政年度全部賬項的銀行戶口存摺或月結單副本），根據指定的程序遞交。有關詳情載於各計劃申請指引。本年度新生的申請期限為8月1日起、9月21日止，有需要申請的同學必須於截止日前於網上遞交相關資料，詳情可參閱https://ess.wfsfaa.gov.hk 。 Application Procedure: From the 2015/16 academic year, all applications of the TSFS and NLSFT must be input and submitted through “SFO E-link – My Applications” platform (http://ess.wfsfaa.gov.hk). Creation/Login of MyGovHK account is required. Applicants are reminded to keep the username and password for future use. Applicants should submit the duly signed declaration (for paper signing) with photocopies of supporting documents (e.g. copies of income proof and bank accounts showing all transactions in previous financial year etc.) within 7 days from submission of online application form and follow the submission procedures. Relevant details are also stipulated in the Guidance Notes. For Full-time New Students: Application deadline: 21 September 2015 In 2015/16 academic year, TSFS applicants should submit their applications through the online application form at SFO E-link – My Applications platform (https://ess.wfsfaa.gov.hk) from 1 August 2015 to 21 September 2015. 43

港鐵學生乘車優惠計劃 Student Travel Scheme

港鐵公司在有加無減機制下，非常「慷慨地」為各學生提供近乎半價的車費優惠計劃。你需要在開學後到學生發展事務處（SDS）領取相關的申請表格，填妥後將表格給予SDS的職員核對你的身份，然後在蓋章後，將表格投入港鐵站的表格收集箱內即可。跟往年一樣，你需要在10月1日到各個港鐵站的客務中心繳交20元的續証費，即可啟動你的學生八達通。 Under the Fare Adjustment Mechanism, MTR is offering “generous” concession scheme for students. You need to get and fill in the relevant application form from Student Development Services (SDS). After verified by SDS, stamped application form has to be put in the collection box placed in each MTR station. Afterwards, you are required to pay the renewal fee of $20 from 1st October in Customer Service Centre in various MTR station. 如果你之前停止了此項優惠，則需要繳付90元的啟動費用。而在前一年並未擁有個人八達通，需要先前往港鐵金鐘站申請「學生身份的個人八達通」。 If you stopped the offer the previous year, you have to pay $90 renewal cost. If you did not have any personal Octopus, you need to apply the “Student Personalised Octopus” in MTR Admiralty Station.

註冊學科 Course Registration 整個註冊學科程序主要使用AIMS 的平台，其次是書面申請。同學需要在AIMS上印列出有關的申請表再交到有關學系申請。

The entire registration subject program mainly use AIMS platform, followed by a written application. Applicants are required to print the relevant application form and submit to the Department.

註冊步驟 Registration steps 1.查看註冊時間 Check the registration time 查看自己的註冊時間是十分重要的步驟，因為一些俗稱好Grade和精進教育（GE Course）很快便滿額。因此，如有心儀的學科必要讀的話，你就一定要「坐定定」在電腦前準備！按 “Registration Status and Time Ticket” 一欄，便能查看自己的add/drop 時間。 Checking your registration time is a very important step. Some well-known courses with nice grades given and Gateway Education Courses are soon. Remember to prepare yourself in front of the computer for getting your planned courses. You can check your own add/ drop period by pressing “Registration Status and Time Ticket” column.

另外，註冊時間（Time Ticket）分為三段時間； 1.最上方的時間：除了精進教育Gateway Education(Area 1, 2, 3)及GE1501 中國文化- 歷史與哲學外，可報選任何科目。 2.中間的時間：為報選GE及GE1501的時間。 3.置底的時間：可自由選科，如在前兩次未完成add/ drop的同學，這是爭取網上add/ drop 的最後機會。 In addition, the Time Ticket is divided into three periods of time: The time listed on top: You can register for any courses expect Gateway Education (Area 1, 2, 3) and GE 1501. The middle one: Register for the GE courses and GE 1501. The last one: The last time slot for add/ drop courses.

2. 查看學科資料 View disciplinary 回Course Registration的頁面，點擊”Look Up Classes” 查看心儀科目的詳細資料。 Click “Look up Classes” to check the disciplinary of each courses on the Course Registration. 以”Gateway Education” 為例。先選擇就讀的Terms →“Gateway Education”→ ”View Section”→”Master Class Schedule”. 其後，將出現以下的版面。你可選擇按入不同的科目，了解各科的課程內容及課堂名額。旁邊的Waitlist Avail一欄顯示是否提供後補名額。若在選科時間未能揀選心儀，可嘗試排後補隊伍，如有同學drop科便有機會補上，校方會以電郵通知有關更改。 Thereafter, the following pages will appear. You can choose different subjects to understand the course content and classroom venue for each section. Waitlist Avail next to the column shows the availability of waiting list. If your favourite course is already full with Waitlist Avail, you may try choosing that. If there are students dropping, school will notify the student on waiting list through e-mail for the changes. 46

3. 註冊或取消學科 Add／Drop Class 按Add／Drop Classes會進入註冊學科的頁面，下面會有兩行CRNs的空格，同學只要遞交學科的CRN號便可。請謹記，CRN號為該學科指定課堂的編號，並非總括的課程編號（Course Code）。 You will get into the registration page by clicking Add/ Drop Classes. Students have to fill in the CRN on the shown space at the bottom part of the page. Noted that CRN is the code of the specific class code shown on the first column which is different from the Course Code.

另外，有些課程包括Lecture(C)與Tutorial(T)之分。同學是需要同時報讀以上兩種，並在輸入CRN時一併輸入C及T的課堂，而兩者亦需要同時有空缺名額，才能成功報讀該課程。 Furthermore, there are some courses with the combination of Lecture(C) and Tutorial(T). Students should register both of them at the same time by filling in both C and T’s CRN. You are able to enroll in the course only if both lecture and tutorial are having seats.

4.查看時間表 Check Timetable 在選科後可在 ”Weekly Schedule” 查看已完成調配的上課時間表，列表亦會顯示上課地點。 Students can check the courses timetable with the venue on “Weekly Schedule”.

語言先修課程（Language Prerequisites Courses） ELC0200 English for Academic Purpose (ELC) 「三仔班」是給在中學文憑試的英語科中考取三級或以下的新生就讀，成績不會被計入CGPA。學生需要利用兩個學期完成共6個學分的課程。 ELC0200 is a 6 credits course compulsory for students who got 3 or lower in the DSE English Language subject. The grade you get in this course would not be counted in your CGPA, but the credits are still counted in your accumulative credits. The course lasts for a total of two semesters.

CHIN1001 大學中文 /University Chinese 1 (CLC) 此課程是給在中學文憑試的中文科考取三級或以下的新生就讀，成績不會被計入CGPA。學生需要利用一個學期完成共3個學分的課程。 CHIN1001 is a 3 credits course compulsory for students who got 3 or lower in the DSE Chinese Language subject. The grade you get in this course would not be counted in your CGPA, but the credits are still counted in your accumulative credits. The course lasts for one semester.

一般而言，不論是上ELC/CLC，都只是求合格，不求高分。主要是因上述兩科的成績並不會計入CGPA。不過，若未能合格，你就只能再多花一個學期重修，直至成績合格。 Generally, no matter it is ELC or CLC, many students tend not to score high grades but a pass in them, as the subject result would not be counted into the CGPA. However, if you failed the courses, you have to spend an extra semester to retake them, until you get a pass.

語言必修課程（Occupational Courses） 1. GE1401 University English(UE) 此課程是給在中學文憑試的英語科中考取四級或以上的四年制新生就讀及已完成ELC0200的學生就讀。課程內容主要圍繞寫作。 The course is compulsory for students in the 4-year curriculum who got 4 or higher in the DSE English Language subject, or for those who have finished taking ELC0200. The syllabus of the course is mainly about writing.

2.GE2401 專業英語課程 (Discipline-specific English) 課程按學院劃分：科工院同學需修讀English for Science或English for Engineering；商院同學需修讀English for Business Communication；人院同學則可以從7個課程選擇其一來修讀。 Courses in the Discipline-specific English are divided according to the students’ corresponding colleges. Students from College of Science and Engineering have to take English for Science or English for Engineering, while students from College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences can choose one course among the seven courses provided.

3. GE1501 中國文化－歷史與哲學 (Chinese culture: History and Philosophy) 此課程是給在中學文憑試的中文科中考取四級或以上的四年制新生就讀及已完成CHIN1001的學生就讀。設有以中文或英語授課的課程。 The course is compulsory for students in the 4-year curriculum who got 4 or higher in the DSE Chinese Language subject. You can select either Chinese or English as the teaching language.

精進教育課程 (Gateway Education) 精進教育 (Gateway Education，GE) 主要讓四年制學生開拓不同學科的知識及整體視野。你需要在四年內修讀共30個學分的GE課程。其中9個學分為大學要求課程，另外21個學分則由你自行在３個學科領域中選擇課程，不過你需要在每個學科領域修讀最少3個學分。詳情請瀏覽教育發展及通識教育辦事處（EDGE）的網頁www.cityu.edu.hk/ge Gateway Education (GE) is a university scheme aims to encourage students to absorb knowledge from a wider discipline, so as to enhance their vision. You have to take a total of 30 credits of GE courses within your 4 years of study. 9 credits out of it are specific courses assigned by the university, and for the rest of the 21 credits you can decide your own favored subject within the 3 main areas. GE指南 (GE Guide)

在GE課程討論平台上，學生可在網站內分享報讀各GE科後的心得及感受以讓同學們參考。當然，同學意見只能作參考之用，如果你GE 成績未如理想，請不要灰心，始終高GPA需要運氣與實力並重。 http://cityuge.swiftzer.net/ The GE Guide is a student-hosted online platform to discuss about GE courses, students can share their comments and feelings toward any GE course there. 體育課程 (PE courses) 在註冊課程時間內，你可以在「Look up classes」的「by Subject」列表中尋找「SDS Physical Education」來搜尋各類體育課程。所有體育課程均是0學分，成績只設合格與不合格。若出席率不足八成，你就會在該體育課程中自動「肥佬」。雖然PE courses不算學分，但仍是非常受同學歡迎，大部分熱門課程在第一節註冊時間開始後的短時間內就爆滿。

During the registration period, you can register your favored PE courses through Aims. To view the course list, just select “SDS Physical Education” in the “by subject” field on the “Look up classes” page. PE course doesn’t bare any credits, but the transcript will show pass or fail for the PE course. If you fail to attend 80% of the classes, you will be automatically failed for the subject. It is very popular choice for students though no credits bearing.

主修科目入學數據 Major Allocation Satistics

GPA (Grade Point Average) 學習成積平均分學業成績平均點數，即是GPA，是香港大部分大專學府用來評核學業成績的機制。GPA可分為SGPA(Semester GPA) 及 CGPA(Cumulative GPA)。前者是只計算一個學期的GPA，後者則是各學期累積計算的總GPA。計算方式是將各科的Letter Grade換算成Grade Point，再除以所讀的學分（Credit）。 GPA is a grade weighting system used by most of the universities in Hong Kong. It is divided into SGPA (Semester GPA) and CGPA (Cumulative GPA). The former is the GPA for one semester of the academic year, while the latter is an average of all the SGPA accumulated throughout the years. The calculating method of SGPA is first switching Letter Grade to Grade Point, then divide the credits taken in the semester. Grade A+ AA B+ B BC+ C CD F

重要提醒：若你在某學科只取得Ｄ或Ｆ，可以考慮重讀該科，爭取更好的成績來取代之前的成績。另外，SGPA低於1.70時，你便會收到warning letter。若你的SGPA連續兩次低於1.00，其中一科累積三次不合格，若CGPA低於1.00時，或在連續兩個學業監察期（Academic Probation）內未能達到所屬學部要求，你便有可能被強制退學。(這裡寫得不太清楚) 最後，你的 CGPA須要高於1.70才可以順利畢業。 One point to note is, you can choose to retake the course if you only get a D or F in it, so you may get a higher grade afterwards to replace the former result. Besides, you would receive a warning letter if your SGPA is lower than 1.7. If your SGPA is consecutively lower than 1.00 for twice, where one or more subjects are failed for 3 times; or your CGPA is lower than 1.00, and that you cannot meet the requirement of your department during the Academic Probation for twice, you may risk being forced to withdraw from your place of study. Moreover, your CGPA needs to get pass 1.70 in order to graduate successfully. 通常新生第一年課程較淺，容易取得較高成績，GPA過3的同學接近一半，影響修讀心水的主修科。 The curriculum is the easiest in the first year of study, near a half of the students can get a GPA of 3 or higher. However, keep in mind that if you want to major in your favorite subject in the second year, you have to work harder to get a more satisfactory result to increase your competitiveness.

時光隧道 Time Tunnel 時光隧道是連接又一城與城大的通道，穿過時光隧道後便能見到學術樓（一）。 The “Time Tunnel” is aW tunnel connecting Festival Walk and CityU.

城大入口 Entrance of CityU 3M橋 3M Bridge 「3M橋」是連接時光隧道及紅門的一段路，選莊不少學生組織宣傳的集中地。如果你從時光隧道而來，需要通過「3M橋」才能進入校園。「3M橋」之所以有這個名字是因為它位於「3M」這一層。 The “3M Bridge” is the bridge connecting The “Time Tunnel” and the main entrance of CityU. The bridge is named as it is located on the 3M level.

蒙民偉樓、方潤華樓 Mong Man-wai Building, Fong Yun-wah Building 教務處位於方潤華樓5/F，同學如遺失學生證或申請defer、credits transfer、transcript 等均在此部門辦理。 Academic Regulations and Records Office is located at the 5/F of Fong Yun-wah Building, if you lose your student ID card, apply credit transfer/ transcript hard copy, etc., you may find supports in this unit. 55

紅門

Red Doors 紅門是進入AC1的正門，穿過正門便能見到圖書館。相傳進出紅門正中的那扇門，GPA就會便會永遠低過3。如果你不信邪的話，可以挑戰古老的中門咀咒。 The Red Doors are the main doors of AC1 which are most frequently used.

書店

Book Shop 進入紅門後轉右，你就會到達位於AC1三樓的商務印書局。購買書籍時，你可憑城大學生證獲得九折優惠，教科書則有八五折優惠a。 When you buy books here, you can get a 10% discount with your student ID card; for textbooks, you can get a 15% discount. 56

邵逸夫圖書館 Run Run Shaw Library 圖書館入口位於AC1三樓，共設約兩千個多座位。圖書館分為五個部份，分別是位於三樓的紫區、藍區、黃區和綠區，以及位於二樓的紅區。一般圖書可借閱一個月，部份參考書只能外借五小時或一天，逾期歸還會以每小時作單位計算罰款。除了藏書外，你還可以在圖書館借閱影音光碟和雜誌期刊，並借用電腦。 The library is located on the 3rd floor, which has about 2,000 seats in total. Normal library books can be borrowed for at least a month; for the reference books in the semiclosed area, they can be borrowed for 5 hours or 1 day, depending on their types, and the overdue fine would be counted on an hourly base. Besides, you can also borrow DVDs, magazines and reserve for a computer in the library. 開放時間 Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 8:30am-11:00pm 在溫習週前四星期開始開放至凌晨一時，考試週更會二十四小時開放。

The closing time will be extended to 1 a.m. four weeks prior to examination period, and 24 hours open in examination period.

圖書館-金魚缸 Library Lounge Library lounge外型像一個巨大魚缸，是城大熱門的溫習地方之一，不少同學也會選擇在此討論 group project，座位經常爆滿。 It is a discussion area in the library with glass-made walls, people outside the library can peek inside, but still it isa hot-spot for group discussion and revision. 57

影印中心 Information Space 圖書館設有多台與電腦連接的Fast Print打印機，是同學列印筆記的熱門地點。開學期間，打印機前一般會大排長龍。如果你希望成功列印筆記，記得要9am前或7pm後才去排隊影印，以避開人流高峰。熟悉Fast Print的運作也是相當重要的，否則你將會感受到身後同學的強烈怨念。 Information Space The library has 3 fast-print printers, connected to the computers in information space, but please be expected long queues in peak hours (from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) in the beginning of semester and the examination period.

圖書館 — 多媒體資源中心 Media Resources Collection 多媒體資源中心入面有大量電影DVD 收藏，而且不斷更新（幾乎落畫片刻就會在圖書館上架），多媒體資源中心旁邊亦有電腦附有DVD讀碟機，如果你正煩惱天地堂何去何從，不妨到圖書館欣賞電影。不過要注意，影碟借出時間只有3日，逾期還碟將每日罰款5元。 The library has a massive collection of DVDs and it is constantly updated. You can borrow it for home watch, yet the lending period lasts only 3 days and late return will be submitted $5 penalty each day.

圖書館 — 二樓自修室 Self-study Room 曾經城大圖書館自詡為全亞洲最大「單層」圖書館。自從前年圖書館擴建後，於二樓新增學生自修室，令城大圖書館風光不再。不過二樓自修室不失為一個溫習的好地方。

民主牆 Democracy Wall 民主牆在圖書館正門出口旁邊。這裏是一個讓你表達意見和訴求的地方，你也可以回應別人的言論，但必須署下姓名及學生證號碼。民主牆禁止宣傳活動，目前由學生會幹事會管理。校內學生組織出版的免費刊物有時會擺放在民主牆下，你可以在此取得由編輯委員會出版之《城大月報》、《CityPrint》。 The “Democracy Wall” is located opposite to the bookshop. With the signature of your Chinese or English name, or stating your SID numbers, you can post any opinions, request, or make response to others’ articles. Near the Democracy Wall you can always find free publications issued by the Editorial Board, like “City Monthly” and “CityPrint”.

3rd Floor to 4th Floor 三上四電梯 Escalator from 3 to 4 來往學術樓（一）三樓和四樓的的電梯，連接AC1 canteen及podium。相傳「三上四」電梯喻意GPA「過三爆四」。 This is the main escalator bridging the third and fourth floors, AC1 Canteen is right in front of the esculator when you reach 4/F.

大學道 U-concourse 大學道又稱Podium。Podium分為五個區域：紫區、綠區、藍區、黃區、紅區，兩旁是上課的演講廳。Podium前後兩端亦設有電腦，你只要在感應器上放上電學證登入系統，即可使用。

Cutprice

The Podium was divided into 5 areas: Purple Zone, Green Zone, Blue Zone, Yellow Zone and Red Zone. The lecture halls are situated at the two sides. There are computers at the two sides of the Podium, you may access them by logging on with your student ID card.

Cutprice由學生會幹事會福利部營運，你可以在此購買飲品、零食、文具等。付款時記得出示學生證，可享折扣優惠。 The “Cutprice” is run by the committee of the student union. You can buy drinks, snacks, stationaries and other things here. Remember to show your student ID card when you pay, so as to get a student discount. 開放時間 Opening hours Monday to Friday: 9:30am-7:30pm Saturday: 9:30am-4:00pm

課室編號解碼 Decoding CLASSROOM secret number AC1的課室集中在四樓Podium兩旁以及五樓。課室門牌上的門號由區域、樓層、編號三者組成。例如門牌「B4-302」，B代表藍區（Blue Zone），4代表四樓，302代表課室編號。注意，除了上課或被預約的情況外，只要課室是空置狀態，你便可以隨便使用，這亦稱為「爆房」。 The classrooms of AC1 mainly locates at the sides of the Podium on fourth floor and the fifth floor. The names of the classrooms on the tags are composed of “Zone”, “Floor”, and “Classroom numbers”.

學生會影印中心 Photocopying Centre 影印中心由幹事會管理。你可自行進內使用黑白影印機、傳真機、釘裝書籍工具。影印機以八達通收費，黑白影印每張 $0.3(A4)或$0.6(A3)；彩色影印每張$2.5(A4) 或$5(A3)。

楊仲儀保健中心（西醫及牙科診所）Young Chung Yee Health Centre (Medical Clinic & Dental Clinic) 楊仲儀保健中心位於保安室前方。只要手持學生證，你便可以$13的優惠價享用西醫門診服務，所以這裡也俗稱「十三醫」。 The Young Chung Yee Health Centre is located in front of the Security Office. With your student ID card, you can receive medical services with a discounted price of $13. 至於牙科服務，你除了可每年免費檢查牙齒一次，還可付費享用其他牙齒護理服務，如洗牙、脫牙、補牙等，須每節繳付 $98。所有牙科服務均須同學親身到中心預約。

For the dental service, you can enjoy a regular check once a year for free. Besides, they also provide paid services like teeth polishing, teeth removal and teeth repairment, each section costs $98.

惠卿劇院 Wei Hing Theatre 惠卿劇院位於SDS對面，院內可容納三百多人，是舉辦校內大型活動的地方，如學生會就職典禮、合唱週年匯演、學術展覽、交流講座等。順帶一提，舞蹈學會的同學經常會於惠卿劇院外排舞，可謂城大一景。 Wei Hing Theatre is located opposite to the SDS, it can hold up to 300 people. 進入學術樓（三） Entering Academic Building 3

可分為高座及低座兩部分。低座包括多個課室及多用途活動室，還提供升降機及扶手電梯讓大家更舒適地穿梭於學術樓（一）、（二）及宿舍範圍。而高座則是大學的行政大樓。此外，AC3的大樓梯設計新穎，是不少學生拍照勝地。 Academic 3 can be divided into the low block and the high block. The low block comprises classrooms and multi-purpose rooms. With the elevators and escalator in the low block, one can comfortably move among AC1, AC2 and the Student Residence. The high block is the university administration block. Since the escalators are only half-sheltered, the escalator service is sometimes suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions.

返回城大廣場 To University Circle 城大廣場 U Circle 城大的地標，一般大型活動均會在此舉辦，例如城大夜宴、聯校 mass dance表演等等。如果你點了麥麥送外賣，亦可以在此取餐。 A landmark of CityU. The U Circle is designated as a stopping area for vehicles.

山林小徑 Hillside Trail 連接城大廣場與3M樓。小徑沿途設有涼亭，流水和魚塘。建築及設施十分古色古香。相傳城大荷花池與中大荷花池相通，有人表示曾經走進荷花池尋找失物，結果游到中大，需要乘車回來上課。

One can find a pavilion, a stream and a fish pond alongside the trail. The architecture has an antique flavor.

胡法光運動中心 Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre 位於城大廣場，只供校內同學及教職員使用。中心內設有羽毛球場、籃球場、壁球場、乒乓球室、及健身室。所有設施都須經e-Portal及親身前往中心預約，再帶同學生證往中心服務台付款確認訂場。相比康文署轄下的體育館，胡法光運動中心的運動設施收費便宜得多，例如羽毛球每小時10元、籃球場每小時25元。場地及設施於一星期前接受預約你可能需要一大清早起床與其他同學競爭場地。

The center is equipped with badminton courts, basketball courts, squash courts, table tennis rooms and fitness rooms. 邵逸夫創意媒體中心 Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre 簡稱CMC位於學生宿舍對上，設有多個課室及工作室。主要供創意媒體、傳播系及部分外語系的同學使用。有趣的是，CMC 有不少門把上的「推」、「拉」指示都是錯誤的。相傳這是某一屆CM同學的裝置藝術作品。 The center’s acronymed CMC. CMC comprises classrooms and studios that are mainly for the purpose of serving students of creative media, media and communication, and foreign languages. Many of the door push pull signs in the CMC are misguiding. Rumor has it that it is the idea of students in the past. Installation art is what they call it.

城大食坊 City Express (AC1 Canteen) AC1 Canteen馳名於香港大專學界，要數CityU地標的話，大概無其他地方能出城大食坊之左右。她每日的吞吐量驚人，不單止孕育了諸位城魔，不少街坊街里亦慕名而來，搭配city dining和Super Deli，無論想吃甜點中餐還是西餐，總能滿足你的要求。地處AC1五樓黃區，正正位於整個城大的中心樞紐，除了考試和開sem第一堂外，繁忙時段的AC1 Canteen大概是能夠捕捉到最多野生城大人的地方。

飯堂由美心集團承辦，價格相對外面的餐廳要來得實惠，最平$12的特價飯便能讓你維持生命，絕對是窮人恩物。而要數飯堂的寵兒，大概便是6號櫃檯「港飲港食」的雙餸飯餐，$24讓你自選兩餸而且凍飲只加$1，絕不欺場。8號櫃檯的燒味飯緊接其後，除了份量足秤的燒味，還佛心地附帶幾條菜，每到午市晚市，6號8號總是帶頭跑出，大排長龍。每日兩時十五分開始供應下午茶餐，燒雞翼或炸雞腿與薯條汽水乃千年不變的最佳搭配，若怕熱氣，糖水小食亦是不錯選擇，一次過滿足你兩個胃。假如手頭鬆動，City dine(黑房)的pepper lunch絕對不會令你失望，特設的空間騰

出一個相對舒服的環境，讓你食得招積，又坐得舒適。遇上行程趕急，只有10分鐘轉堂時間速食午餐，你可以到正門最左邊的Starbucks櫃檯，買些西式包點、飲品或者沙律邊走邊吃，又或是買一杯提神的咖啡，留住快要飄走的靈魂。值得一提的是，城大食坊內設多部自助點餐機。如果你有八達通（和足夠儲值額），你可以自行點選食物，確認後拍卡付款。另外，同學亦可下載City Express手機應用程式，讓你預先點餐，快人一步。

AC2 Canteen AC2 Canteen的購買方式不同於AC1，需要先排隊拿食物，再到就近的櫃檯付款。 AC2 Canteen也同由美心集團接標。食物價錢比AC1城大食坊稍貴，但食物質素有一定水準，特別是早餐和下午茶餐。坐在最後的圓桌區，更能眺望九龍東的城市佳景，吸引很多同學在此就餐。 AC2餐廳共有4個櫃檯：City Deli主要售賣美式漢堡包、沙律；中華小廚主要售賣雙餸飯；亞洲之味主要售賣海南雞飯和泰式粉麵；和風料理主要售賣拉麵烏冬。

5380 Café 專營清真食物的攤檔，你可以吃到地道的印度咖哩飯和土耳其烤肉卷，味道不錯，而且香味四溢，未望到已經聞到。價錢在$30至$40元間，偶爾來一個加辣烤卷，會為你的味覺注入新的活力。溫馨提示各位，避免把烤卷帶到課堂，它的芳香或會驚動教授。

AC3 Canteen 由美心集團承辦。「又係美心？」相信廣大同學都會與你一樣感到驚訝。這一家在城大碩果僅存的西式餐廳位於學術樓（三）七樓。在這裡就餐能近看又一城豪華雙色玻璃，遠眺九龍城區和觀塘區的各式樓日盤，可以為學生以後置業提供一個良好的看樓平臺。這裡的裝潢相較學校其他的餐廳更為新潮，也配合其西式餐廳的風格，有幾張半圓形的大沙發還有一個Cafe的角落，非常舒適。此處供應各式意粉，薄餅是幾人共享的必選菜式，全日餐則是相對實惠之選。Cafe 供應的窩芙更是深受女生喜愛。既然是西餐，為了突顯它尊貴高大的形象，價錢當然也要冠絕城大，食物檔次比AC1 AC2 Canteen 高，但水準則相差無幾，看來美心集團出品萬變不離其宗。

三樓 Delifrance 去年才入駐城大的西式餐廳，位於AC3天梯上方的是主餐廳，售賣的食物以西式正餐為主，大多為各式意粉，同樣有售賣法式三明治、熱狗等下午茶食品。價錢在30至50元左右徘徊，因為是市面上較為出名的連鎖西式餐廳，所以食品質量味道都不錯，很適合喜歡西餐的你。而它的另一家麵包店，坐落在鄭翼之樓右邊的樓梯之下，是一個咖啡廳式的休憩處，以西式飽點和飲品為主。價格偏貴，但食物質量不錯，開張後深受廣大教職員工喜愛，所以，欠交功課的你，還是少來為妙。

城軒想要在城大飲茶，其實絕對不是奢侈想法，一般的茶樓的點心和炒粉麵飯一應俱全。城軒位於康樂樓的八樓，適合和三五知己或是一大群人一起吃飯茶聚，兌現「得閒飲茶」再不是夢。不過，城軒乃一眾教職員的聚腳點之一，遲到走堂的你，還是少來為妙。

又一城Food Court 此處被稱作城大的白區，因為它的牆面設計以高尚、純淨的白色為主，也簡稱為白區。一分錢一分貨，位於L2 的美食廣場，提供40蚊以上的高檔美食，味道當然也比AC1的好。只是魚與熊掌不可兼得，想要高品質，當然需要厚錢包。同層的麥當勞也是同僚們熬夜必備的好商戶。

南山邨南山邨就坐落在城大以西的位置，與 AC1的實驗室只有一街之隔，所以，南山邨的餐廳也成為城大學子和教職員工就餐的第二選擇。又因為其商場為房屋署管理，所以租金合理，食物的價格也不會很高。但中午用餐就要做好和附近中學的學生們爭座的準備。南山邨之首品香樓菜式種類豐富，小菜入味，份量亦足夠，中西餐混合配搭。晚飯時間叫一杯凍珠更加額外附送驚喜，宵夜時段以明太子抄飯為首的抄粉面飯，亦是抵食之選。南豐餐廳和新南山冰室是典型茶記，價錢和食物均是中

上水平。十勝牛是南山邨內唯一一家日式餐廳，價錢較貴，而樹記飯店和黃記粉麵均是南山邨的大牌檔，當其他食肆已經打烊，兩間大排檔卻營至深宵，是附近的麥當勞的強大對手。南山邨亦有很多小食，樹記對面的雞蛋仔伯伯／嬸嬸，C+屋賣不同口味的雪糕，串燒檔口等等。

深水埗和九龍城說起香港的美食，大家一定都會想到位於舊市區的九龍城和深水埗。雖然城大位於九龍塘，但是，各位同僚早已將就近的兩地劃為城大的管轄區域。深水埗有譚仔米線、大家食、油渣麵、車仔麵、松記甜品，九龍城有清真牛肉館、金滿堂甜品、昌發泰國粉麵屋等食店。但綜合而言，深水埗的消費較低，而九龍城的消費較昂貴，食物的質量與味道，也自然和價錢成正比。溫馨提示，深水埗的食物並不算特別的乾淨，所以，首次品嘗的你，回去拉一兩下肚子，也實屬正常。

由宿舍往石峽尾及深水埗沿着石峽尾公園旁的樓梯小徑落，會到南昌街，繼續前行便到深水埗一帶。

Hall 6 李兆基堂 Lee Shau Kee Hall 回宿準則: 先採取計分制，同樣以舍堂活動表現、學業成績、Prof. Edmond Ko Cup、樓層貢獻、個人面試表現等為準則，遴選會會按分數將宿生排名，並對排名首40位宿生進行評估及投票。如12位遴選會成員中有至少4位對宿生投下反對票，該宿生將被排至第41位再進行表決，直至回宿名額滿額。遴選會由8名舍堂導師、3名宿生會代表（會長及兩名副會長）及宿生會評議會主席組成。

The criteria under the scoring standard include Performance in Hall Activities, Academic Performance, Participation and Performance in Prof. Edmond Ko Cup, Floor Contribution, Performance in Individual Interview, etc. All applications will be ranked according to the scoring standard by the Panel. The first 40 Applicants will be reviewed one-byone and the Panel will cast vote on each application. Where there are 4 votes from the Panel against an application, the application will be put to the 41st place in the entire list for voting. The voting procedure will close when all the returning quotas are filled. The Panel is composed of 8 Residence Tutors, all 3 Presidents from the Residence Association and the Chairman from the Residence Council.

Hall 7 賽馬會群萃堂 Jockey Club Harmony Hall Number of Residents: Around 240 Number of residential floors: 6 Number of rooms Single Room: 9 Double Room: 102 3-person Apartment Unit: 18 Disabled room: Yes Selection Criteria for Returning: All applications will first be evaluated quantitatively on the basis of Participation and Contribution in Prof. Edmond Ko Cup, Participation and Contribution in Hall Activities offered by Residence Association, Participation and Contribution in Hall Activities offered by Residence Tutors, Participation and Contribution in Hall Activities offered by Floor Representatives, Leadership Position(s) in the Hall, Other Leadership position held in the campus, and Future Contribution in Hall. All applications will then be reviewed and voted by a panel comprising of the Resident Master, Residence Tutors, 3 members of the Executive Committee of Residence Association and 2 members of the Residence Council. Since local and non-local residents do not compete for the same returning quota, the points they need may vary.

回宿準則: Prof. Edmond Ko Cup、宿生會主辦之活動、舍堂導師安排之活動、樓層代表安排之活動、舍堂領袖職位、校內其他領袖職位及未來之舍堂貢獻為基礎評分準則，而所有回宿申請將由舍監、舍堂導師、3名宿生會代表及2名宿生會評議會代表組成的遴選會投票表決是否通過，另外由於本地生與非本地生的回宿名額分開計算，故兩者回宿所需的分數或有不同。

The residents’ disciplinary performance will be considered. Approximately 5% to 10% of marginal applicants will be invited to attend interviews. 86

分兩輪評估，第一輪由舍堂導師於遴選會推薦宿生，每層最多四名宿生獲推薦，獲推薦宿生需獲會議內全票通過方可回宿；第二輪則是公開遴選，不設樓層限額，同樣由遴選會投票表決。在兩輪表決中，遴選會均會以宿生的舍堂活動表現、樓層表現、社會及校內服務表現及未來期望陳述為考慮基準。遴選會由8名舍堂導師及2名宿生會代表組成。

Selection Criteria for Returning: There are two rounds of assessment. In the first one, Residence Tutors will nominate outstanding candidates in the selection committee. No more than 4 residents may be nominated from the same floor in this round. Nominated residents must receive a unanimous support from all the Residence Tutors and Residence Association in order to be successful in this round. The second round is an open round with no floor quota. Applications will be discussed and voted through a secret ballot by the selection committee. In both rounds, the selection committee will assess the applicant on their performance in hall activities, their floor performance, their service in the society and the campus, and their future expectation statement. The selection committee is formed by 8 Residence Tutors and 2 representatives from the Residence Association.

採取計分制，分別為學生宿舍處設立之Score B（10分）、Prof. Edmond Ko Cup（20分）、舍堂活動（20分）、樓層表現及活動（10分）、舍堂角色（20分）及舍堂導師或宿生會代表推薦（15分），操守表現亦會計算在內。

Selection Criteria for Returning: A scoring system is adopted. Factors under this system include the Score B under the SRO (10 points), the Prof. Edmond Ko Cup (20 points), Hall-related Activities (20 points), Floor and Floor-based Activities (10 points), Hall Position (20 points) and Residence Tutors’ and Residence Association’s Recommendation (15 points). Disciplinary Performance will be considered as well.
