STANDARD TIME
MARK STUART DANCE THEATRE Saturday, August 15, 2015 | 7:30 PM Sunday, August 16, 2015 | 2 PM Winter Center | Millersville Tickets: Starting at $30
Event Sponsor
First seen at the Fulton Theatre by sold-out audiences in September of 2013, STANDARD TIME returns to Lancaster by popular demand to remount the show and debut new material never seen before. This dance musical celebrates the timeless love and its power to defy society’s invisible rules that tear us apart. STANDARD TIME follows three separate, period-specific love stories. These stories are set against the backdrops of the Great Depression, the Civil Rights Movement, and the shifting contemporary landscape of today. Danced to hit standards from the 1930’s, 1960’s and the 2000’s respectively, the show features 14 dancers, 4 vocalists and a 5-piece orchestra. New York based Mark Stuart Dance Theatre was dubbed “smoldering” by the New York Times and “electrifying” by BroadwayWorld.com for bringing gravity-defying movement and dramatic storytelling to the stage, screen, and printed page. Under the artistic direction of award-winning choreographer Mark Stuart, Mark Stuart Dance Theatre expressed the physical and emotional rawness of human relationships through a bold and explosive blend of dance movement. This production is in association with Fulton Theatre. MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY | VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS

To end Allegro Chamber Orchestra’s 2015 Summer Season, what could be more fun than a concert of your favorite movie music? Combining classical greats featured heavily in the movies with the very best themes written just for film.
BEETHOVEN 5 Saturday, July 11, 2015 | 7:30 PM Sunday, July 12, 2015 | 3 PM Ware Center | Lancaster Tickets: $25 | $22 senior | $5 college student It’s perhaps the most famous piece in all of Classical music: Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony! Audiences never tire of hearing this masterpiece, and you’ll be thrilled to hear Allegro’s rendition. But that’s not all: the concert will also feature another crowd favorite, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Fantasy on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.
