Estados Unidos Obama autoriza vuelos sobre Siria para buscar objetivos del Estado Islámico – El País El presidente Barack Obama concretó el pasado fin de semana la autorización para realizar vuelos de reconocimiento en territorio Sirio; lo anterior se establece después de que los Yihadistas del Estado Islámico (EI) ejecutaran públicamente al periodista norteamericano James Foley. Según información difundida por algunos analistas, la decisión del presidente Obama puede traer consigo una futura intervención aérea en Siria; sin embargo, el objetivo no sería el régimen, sino el Estado Islámico (EI). La investigación del FBI evidencia que los ataques cibernéticos son realizados probablemente desde Rusia (Le FBI enquête sur des cyberattaques probablement menées depuis la Russie) – Le Monde.Fr Arduas investigaciones elaboradas por el FBI evidencian una oleada de ataques cibernéticos dirigidos a J.P. Morgan, un importante banco de Estados Unidos. Según información difundida por la agencia Bloomberg, dichos ataques posiblemente provienen del gobierno ruso, ya que la tecnología implementada por lo hackers en el robo de información, da muestras de ser bastante sofisticada. Se estima además, que pueden haber otros bancos víctimas de ataques cibernéticos.

Arizona: Un instructor muere por disparo de una niña de 9 años (Arizona: un instructeur tué au pistolet-mitrailleur par une fillette de 9 ans) - Le Monde.Fr El pasado lunes 25 de agosto una menor de 9 años mató a su maestro, mientras este le enseñaba a disparar. Los hechos ocurrieron en un atractivo turístico ubicado en Arizona.

Dicha situación denota la falta de leyes que prohíban el uso de armas a menores de edad, pues se trata de niños que no dimensionan las consecuencias de disparar un arma. Según el Centro Brady, una organización para la violencia armada, en el año 2013, 45 niños murieron accidentalmente por causa de armas de fuego.

Europa Gran Bretaña cerca de identificar al asesino de James Foley, dice el embajador—CNN News Las autoridades británicas han usado todos los recursos disponibles para identificar al asesino del periodista norteamericano James Foley, el cual fue decapitado por un grupo terrorista islamista llamado ISIS del Estado Islámico (EI). La Guardia Civil Española encontró una plantación de marihuana con capacidad de 10.000 plantas, este sembradío se ubicaba al sur de la provincia de Málaga. Durante este allanamiento fueron capturados tres británicos que se encargaban de cultivar y exportar la marihuana a España y al resto de Europa. Se considera que este es un duro golpe a la producción de esta droga en territorio español.

Ofensiva contra jihadista británico para incluir esquema 'deradicalizing' de AlemaniaThe Guardian
Londres ha tratado de implementar una nueva estrategia para evitar que los jóvenes se involucren en grupos yijadistas radicales, con el fin de combatir esta amenaza de forma diferente a la tradicional. La estrategia se basa en la inclusión a la sociedad de los jóvenes británicos que se convierten al Islam, con el objetivo de evitar la radicalización del islam. Crackdown on British jihadist to include 'deradicalizing' scheme from Germany— The Guardian London has sought to implement a new strategy to prevent youth involvement in radical jihadi groups, in order to combat this threat differently than the traditional way. This strategy is based on the inclusion into society of young Britons who convert to Islam, with the aim of prevent the radicalization of Islam. This strategy has been implemented in different cities in Germany and still the results of these experiments are expected.

Asia Ukraine Reports Russian Invasion on a New Front -The New York Times Determined to preserve the pro-Russian revolt in eastern Ukraine, Russia reinforced what Western and Ukrainian officials described as a stealth invasion on Wednesday, sending armored troops across the border as it expanded the conflict to a new section of Ukrainian territory. The Islamic State group has killed dozens of Syrian soldiers it captured after overrunning a military base in northeastern Syria. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said IS fighters rounded up the soldiers in the arid countryside on Wednesday near the Tabqa airfield, three days after seizing the base in heavy fighting. The government troops were among a large group of soldiers from the base who were stuck behind the front lines after the airfield fell to the jihadi fighters.

Syria conflict: UN peacekeepers held in Golan Heights -BBC
The UN Disengagement Observer Force (Undof) personnel were detained near Quneitra, during fighting between Syrian rebels and government forces. It comes a day after rebels took control of a crossing into the Israeli-occupied Golan after a long battle. During the fighting, an Israeli soldier and an Israeli civilian were wounded by stray bullets. The Israeli military said it had responded with artillery fire at two Syrian army positions.

The air traffic from Tripoli International Airport was suspended for several hours, because of the control exercised by an alliance of Islamist militias in Libya. However, the fighting spread to other parts of the Libyan capital after the intervention of unknown fighter jets. Three years ago, the moderate militias had controlled Tripoli International Airport, during the Libyan Revolution.
