Nunca he sido fanático del Drum n Bass, pero hay algo cierto. Desde mis inicios estuve muy ligado al sonido jungle y sus derivados. Uno de mis colegas mas cercanos en mis primeros anos de ronda fue DJ REK (SLINKY MOTION), para 1998 ya era uno de los pioneros del sonido jungle en la ciudad y con el cual funde un proyecto llamado noname kru. Finalizando el 98 compre en un viaje un disco de Goldie llamado ‘Saturn Return’. Una joyita que aun conservo. En Dicho album se pueden escuchar temas clásicos que hasta el sol de hoy sigo oyendo y sintiendo de la misma forma. ‘Temper, Temper’, quizás el primer hit drum n bass que penetro en el pais, junto a ‘Inner city lights’ o algunos otros de Roni Size y Aphrodite. Junto a pippo coincidimos que aun siendo devotos del sonido techno, quisimos darle un pequeño homenaje con nuestras palabras a uno de los verdaderos pioneros del sonido underground y la Electrónica contemporanea. Goldie y su sello Metalheadz, nunca morirán.

NOW: Your role model? ND: Jesus NOW: What do you know about South America musically speaking?

ND: I only played in Brazil to be honest…probably 15 times, but Norman Doray: Probably an only brazil. I really want to come Asahi from Japan which is really and discover Argentina, Venezuela, light or the one from Brazil called colombia, chile etc…Its about time. BOHEMIA…So good!!! I think these countries are really more open to electronic music, NOW: Any influence of the Chicago they love to dance, they love heavy House in the early 1980s in your rythm and everyone is always in work? the party mode ND: Im still playing Masters at work records, Lil louis, Paul Johnson are also an inspiration…these guys are the reason why I’m doing music today NOW: How long do you usually work on your music? ND: That really depends. i can finish a track in 1 week, but i also can spend months on it and its never a good sign ahaha NOW: What do you think about making mistakes? (music production wise) ND: Things happen. its always sad when you spend time on a record, you promote it, you push it a lot and its not working…I still think that you learn from your mistakes…so there is finally a good part in it!

NOW: I can imagine you want to be global: what kind of people do you want to enjoy your music? ND: Everyone. Its important that the real music lovers appreciate your work, but its also really exciting when your music is playing on the radio and people from everywhere can discover it! NOW: In Venezuela, the electronic music is growing, what’s is your advice for those people that want to become artists? ND: TAKE YOUR TIME! No need to rush things…Create your own identity and own sound…It will stay longer than copy others

El arte callejero es un paradigma de la cultura contemporánea; una mezcla de códigos, jerarquías e intenciones, que buscan como lógica motivadora, la apropiación del espacio en superficies y visuales públicas; generando así un vocabulario visual en este mundo globalizado y de las masas. El grafiti habla, grita, conmueve, enfurece, puede parecer agresivo o simpático, protesta, critica, humoriza o embellece; pero independientemente de su manifestación, es una muestra del juego espontaneo de

las circunstancias; cargados de una identidad propia y empatía al entorno; es una afirmación de la existencia, donde la ciudad es la plataforma, el lienzo, la condición esencial para su creación. Dentro del marco del CONTRAGOLPE, la ciudad es ahora la que protesta, se fragmenta, se diluye, se vuelve inconsistente, enmarcada de manera inversa dentro del arte urbano, manifestando así, la necesidad de consolidación y recuperación de los espacios público;

la necesidad de transformar los vacios urbanos en verdaderos escenarios de convergencia social, puntos de encuentro e intercambio.
