2018 ANNUAL GEORGIE AWARDS

he 2018 Georgie Awards® winners were announced on Saturday, March 10, at the 26th Annual Georgie Awards® Gala in Vancouver.

The Georgie Awards® is an annual awards program to recognize excellence in housing in British Columbia. The awards categories represent all aspects of the industry, including new residential construction, renovation, marketing, innovation, and energy-efficiency. The winners were announced by emcee Todd Talbot, co-host of Love It or List It Vancouver, in front of a sold-out crowd of industry professionals. Guests were treated to entertainment by Tracey Bell, a seated dinner and an after party. “A record year of entries meant that the competition to be a finalist

or winner was strong,” says CEO Neil Moody. “It also means the value of the Georgie Awards continues to grow, both within the residential construction industry and for consumers.” Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC members submitted entries from across the province. Entries were built, renovated, developed, created and/or marketed between January 1, 2016 September 30, 2017. The finalists and winners were selected by a panel of out-of-province industry professionals. “Congratulations to all members who have submitted outstanding projects this year, and we salute our 2018 winners for their achievements,” says Moody.
