At the same time we do not wish to get in contact with them. Our picture illustrates the distance between the seller and buyer at a hotdog stand in the center of Copenhagen. They both have specific prejudices of each other, at the same time
they have a lot in common at the very moment; both women are holding a hotdog by a hotdog stand. It is clear to see that the look on the hotdog woman’s eyes indicates how she cannot relate to the young generations lifestyle. She feels distanced from the new generation. Bitten Bitten is a 69-year old pensioner but keeps her retired lifestyle busy by working at a hotdog stand in the weekdays. On weekends, she helps at a pub. Originally, from Nordvest, she was previously a self-employed. After living an eventful, driven and hard-working life, she could not see herself being retired. To fill her pensioned life with zest for life, she enjoys waking up early and standing in the hotdog stand. Her political views are consistent with her lifestyle; it is clear to see she is devoted to The Danish People’s Party. She sells pork at the hotdog chain “Langelænder” and is loyal to the Danish values. She has not integrated into the modern society with new technology systems and prefers cash rather than credit. According to the Minerva model, she fits perfectly in the violet segment. The traditional lifestyle with Danish values. The categorized people are known to be hard working, independent and nationalistic.
