Nørrebrogade 29/02/16 On the photo you see a man who is presumably a second-generation immigrant. He is covered up in Adidas from top to toe, he is wearing headphones and he is walking to the rhythm of the music he is listening to. He is walking down at Nørrebrogade and you can see that he is busy. On the other side of the road, you see shops such as: Seiko Omega, Phone Fixer, Telia and Netto. He is not walking directly on the sidewalk, maybe because he wanted to give us space so that we could walk by him. It looks like he is the only person who is walking on Nørrebrogade, the picture is captured perfectly: there are no cars, no people and no bicycles.

We have chosen the photo, because this one was the one who spoke the most to us. Everything in the picture has an important part, to make this one special, we think. He is fitting perfectly in the environment, he has this “Nørrebro” charm, that we liked and then we think that it is cute that

he is covered up in Adidas. It is a moment captured, and that is what we like about the picture. It is not a setup photography, it is just him, walking in his own bubble of music, and we were lucky to just bump into him. The fact that we captured this special moment of him walking down at Nørrebrogade, without cars, without people and without bicycles, is what we really like.

Our Adidas guy is sort of a stereotype. He is a stereotype because of the Adidas tracksuit. It is always Adidas that you see on the street, it is never brands such as Nike and Puma, and you don’t recognize Nike as much as you do when you see the Adidas logo. It is very captivating, and he is not afraid of showing it to us.

This leads us to the Minerva Model. Our Adidas guy is fitted into the violet colour, between Traditional and Pragmatic. In this category you have a low education, middle prestige and a high income. You have a lot of confidence and you are materialistic, which fits perfectly on our guy in the photo. By his way of dressing, we can tell that it is thought-through, he is not that kind of guy who is just putting something random clothes together, he has thought about every outfit and likes nice quality clothes. He is not the kind who would run down to a thrift shop and buy a shirt, he likes the good quality and is probably also what he spends all his money on. He is not the kind of type who has a high education, he rather wants to work hard and earn a lot of money. He seems like the kind of guy who is surrounded by many people, he is funny and is always the head of the party.
