How To Bake An Apple Cake Apple cakes are certainly a yummy treat for everybody. For some, baking apple cakes are difficult. This is because apples are not the easiest fruits to begin with. However, there is a simple way to bake apple cakes without the baking prowess of a pastry chef. There are two basic forms of apple cakes: the one with apples on the base and the ones without them. However, the taste of these cakes is virtually the same. The only difference is, the former is more organic and the latter can be made with commercial baking products. The best example of an apple cake is the one featured in Keiko’s, read full review here. The one in Keiko’s however, is relatively advanced. But here is a basic take on it. What You Need The Frosting Cream cheese Vanilla extract (optional) Butter cream (optional) The Base Confectionery Sugar 1st Class Cake Flour Butter Vanilla extract (optional)

Water Salt Orange Zest Apple Slices (best types here) Baking Powder Yeast Eggs The Procedure 1. Mix and sift all the dry ingredients of the cake base together. 2. Preheat the oven. 3. Prepare a separate bowl and mix the wet ingredients except the apple slices or chunks. 4. Combine the dry ingredients and the wet ones together. Then slowly pour in the apple slices. You can also opt to use apple cubes or chunks so that the chewiness of the batter will be more prominent. 5. Pour in a cake tin with butter-brushed baking paper. 6. Bake for at least 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure you properly bake the cake so that the fresh apples insides are engulfed in the proper heat to prolong its shelf-life. 7. For the frosting, mix all the ingredients in another bowl and beat thoroughly until fluffy. 8. Cool down the cake. 9. After the cake has cooled down, pour in the frosting and smoothen it out on the top and side parts. 10.Serve chilled.
