R obert G u y S inclair , A I A P rinci p al Rob
began
his
career
in
architecture some two decades ago in
Newport Beach, California,
following graduation from the
University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Following his tenure on the California Coast, Rob relocated to Aspen where he honed his skills in high end residential design. In 1996 Rob left for Florence, Italy, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University and furthered his interest in traditional architecture and construction.
Ready to go out on his own, Rob founded RGSA in 2002 on the principles of architectural integrity, a desire to oversee the design and management of each project, and the belief that client relationships should be stronger upon completion of a project than at its commencement.
Rob is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has chaired an architectural award jury for the state of Montana. He also continues to be involved with his university ties through USC’s Architectural Guild and Alumni Association and also Syracuse’s Alumni Association.

S cott K raehn k e , A ssociate A I A A ssociate
A
native of
Milwaukee, Scott
began his
career at the early age of sixteen.
While
Architecture still in high
school, he began working at a local architecture firm, establishing a foundation of principles that continue to guide him today.
Scott continued to work while pursuing both a BFA and Master’s of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin and upon graduation had already amassed a decade of experience in architecture. Scott enjoyed the many aspects of architecture and began working with a national development firm he was able to experience the construction side by participating in their construction company.
From
custom residential housing
to multi-use commercial projects,
Scott
participated in a
varied set of architectural challenges ranging in size and complexity.
Later
in his career, while working as an architect at
Lake Forest, Illinois that focused on custom residential, Scott met Rob Sinclair, founding partner of RGSA. Years later their paths would cross once again, this time becoming part of the RGSA team. a boutique firm in
Scott started the Milwaukee office of RGSA in 2005 and became an associate of the firm in 2009. In between client meetings and time at the drafting boards he finds time to teach at his alma mater, where he’s privileged to impart his expertise to the next generation of artists and architects.

While studying for both a BS and MS in Architecture at the University of Wisconsin, Paul began his career with a small firm in downtown Milwaukee. Following a three year tenure, he accepted a position as Project Designer with a firm recognized as Wisconsin’s American Institute of Architects “Firm of the Year.” Paul
later relocated to

as a designer utilized his skills in the firm’s justice and commercial projects studio.

Alison first arrived in Aspen in 1992 after receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California (USC). After
living and working in architecture in
Aspen
for
four years,
Alison returned to school in Denver for her MBA with an emphasis in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver (DU) in 1998. She then moved to Los Angeles and developed a web-based application for the healthcare industry. Now back in Aspen, Alison has enjoyed volunteering for the City of Aspen by sitting on the Historic Preservation Commission from 2005-2008. She is also a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, American Institute of Architects (AIA), and has her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.

Having
grown up in
Aspen, Gen
has familiarity with the
vast growth in commercial and residential building in the
Roaring Fork valley since the early 1980’s. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Economics, Gen joined the RGSA team in June 2008. She
has
experience
homeowner’s

management of design review committees and has worked with local governments and other common interest communities in the upper
Roaring Fork valley.
K ell y C oone y I ntern A rchitect
Kelly moved to Aspen in 2009 after finishing a BA and BArch in Architecture from Rice University. She spent a preceptorship year in Cambridge, MA working for a full service firm specializing in museum, hospitality, and entertainment venue design. Kelly
worked for
RGSA
as a summer intern, and has
returned full time this year.
