In his classic hymn “Love Divine All Love’s Excelling,” Charles Wesley captured the essence of Jesus’ ministry: “Jesus, Thou art all compassion, Pure unbounded love Thou art; Visit us with Thy salvation; Enter every trembling heart.” Isn’t it amazing that the way Jesus shares that pure, unbounded love with the world is through the compassion of His followers?
