introduction.
Welcome to round two of the 2018 Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and Steve Benton Transport British Under 21 Championship. It’s an exciting time for us here at RHL Activities, as we settle into the season to see who will be fighting for the championship top spots, whilst watching each rider making the next step towards their own individual goals. It’s great to bring the championship back to Culham, the circuit that played host to the opening round in 2017 and recently kicked off the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship. This is a fantastic track, with natural undulations, and it has previously hosted many national events, including the BYN, as well as a Grand Prix in past history. Looking back to the opening round of this year in April at Preston Docks, I must say there was some outstanding racing across all classes. It was a great weekend and opener for the Championship and I hope to continue the excellent vibe throughout the paddock during the remainder of the season. Part of our priority here at RHL Activities is to grow our sport, bring more junior riders into the championship and give our riders the very best platform to develop for the future. Over the last seven years I believe we’ve achieved a lot, and this season we will see another strong line-up of riders across all classes that will benefit from racing with the very best youngsters in the UK on some of the best tracks for their development. The Judd KTM British Youth National Championship is the gateway for young riders to enter a World Championship event, and we look forward to seeing riders enjoy all the benefits of competing with us, while establishing themselves throughout the ranks of racing. I would like to personally thank you all for your support, and we are of course highly motivated to continue our growth of the championship whilst improving it for existing riders, especially as we look to lead the way as the most professional youth series in Europe. I hope you all have a great weekend of racing.

DUNLOP TYRE CHOICE. Dunlop is a valued supporter of the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and the tyre manufacturer is pleased to be involved with the premier junior series where youngsters cut their teeth as they progress through the ranks to the Maxxis, European and World Championships. Dunlop has put together a tyre choice for each round of the Championship below. Round Two – Culham Culham is a soft and loamy track that’s technical with natural undulations – the best tyre choice for this is the Dunlop Geomax MX3S in the front and rear Tyre Fitting and Running Tips: • Use correct fitting lubricant when fitting tyres, No washing up liquids • Depending upon the terrain on the day, then opt for a tyre with a pitch pattern to suit the terrain, and or work with inflation pressures for a finer advantage. • Dunlop Mousses are equivalent to 12-13 PSI.
