It is a perfect and inexpensive semi-automatic carbine for dynamic shooting as well as for plinking. The aluminum upper and polymer lower receiver keep the weapon light, the simple but rugged construction ensures reliability and low maintenance.

There are two lowers available in 9 x 19 mm, one which uses the well-known B&T 9 mm magazines (10/15/20/25/30 rounds) as used with the Swiss and the US Army. The optional lower accepts any double column 9 mm Glock magazine. B&T also offers a compact, a standard and a suppressed upper version. All controls are ambidextrous and as is the charging handle that can be inserted on the left or right side. Firing from closed bolt, the built in hydraulic buffer reduces the felt recoil as well as the muzzle flip, allowing for faster double taps and faster target acquisition.

The GHM family has three base models, and offers something for every shooter. While the GHM9 in the standard length is a great all around sporting carbine gun, the compact version, due to its very short length is a gun for most dynamic shooting. The suppressed version (SD) will protect the shooters hearing and will not disturb others on the range. The SD version has gas ports machined into the barrel which does not require subsonic ammo. These ports will reduce the speed of the any standard velocity round down to subsonic speed, resulting in a very low sound signature. Depending on the other weapons a GHM9 user owns, B&T offers the unique opportunity to equip the GHM9 with a lower trigger group that will accept B&T magazines, or with a lower accepting Glock magazines. In the event the shooter already owns any other B&T carbine such as the MP9/TP9, the APC9, the P26 or the KH9, these magazine are able to be used with all these guns if the B&T magazine lower is chosen. However if one owns a 9 mm Glock pistol with a double column magazine, the Glock magazine lower is the perfect choice. It fits any double column 9 mm Glock magazine from 10 rounds up to any aftermarket 100 round drum. B&T knows that every shooter is different. That is we offer, besides the base models and the lowers, a variety of accessories such as a telescopic stock, a foldable charging handle, a double magazine clip and a wide range of Aimpoint sights with various mounts in order to adapt the GHM9 perfectly to the shooters needs.
