How did the band form? What's your album of the year? Heirs formed in 2008, I had recorded some HTRK "Work, (Work, Work)" demo songs and put them on Myspace, then Denovali Records contacted us to release Would you like to come to Portugal? the songs, so I got together a band, we We would absolutely love to come back. What was the concept behind the EP? The concept links to the new album, which will be revealed when it comes out next year. How does it differ from previous material? It is much more simplified in terms of songwriting, but also a lot more structured then previous recordings. Which, in itself, is probably the hardest thing we have dealt with. What was the idea behind the music video of "Hunter"? To create a piece of video that has a futuristic feel to it, and something that blends well with the audial spectrum provided. What can we expect in 201 2 from Heirs? A new album, and a lot of touring. If your music were to be adapted into a film, what story would it tell? I guess, being an instrumental band with many different pockets of sound incorporated into the complete whole, it is quite hard to find something that suits. This is always going to be up to each individual to find their matching visual.
