How did the band form?
He'd make the journey with his female companion Aliona whom he was very much in like with. Thomas: The band formed as i had just got a drum kit and She would never weigh him down. wanted to start a band, so one PE lesson i did. After numerous leavers & joiners we are left with this lineup They tamed two lion's hearts together and vowed to each other that they would no longer be the victim. which is awesome.
How was the recording of the self titled EP? Thomas: The reccording was a fun yet also difficult process
What's your album of the year? James: "Record" by Lower Than Atlantis Would you like to come to Portugal?
as we wanted to make it the best we could. So we struggled alot but looking back it help make the EP Josh: We would very much like to go to Portugal, be it in better. general or to play shows that would be awsome. Tom: Yeah we put so much effort into getting it right for James: Portugal is nice. everyone who wanted to listen to it, it was quite stressful but i think looking back at it for like our first six tracks we are happy with it.
What was the concept behind it?
Jessica: Lyrically there were lots of different ideas to it.
Some songs have ideas that aren't as obvious but my favourite thing about writing is letting people interpret them their own way. The majority of them have an idea of standing up for yourself, and finding somewhere where you feel like you can belong. About leaving all the bad stuff behind, and embracing new things .
What can we expect from you in 201 2? Josh: Well we're currenly writting new material and booking
up loads of shows and that, so we may get a few demos recorded for you guys and that. Hoping for some great shows and that though so would be nice to see some of you guys at one or two of them, supporting us. Who knows what else, so many things on the table we're considering doing another music video soon so we will see what happens with that.
If your music were to be adapted into film, what story would it tell? Jessica: If our songs were adapted into a movie it would be an epic tale of a small boy called Edwardo and he would fly from building to building searching for a town he can call home and a place he can explode. Even though he faced many obstacles (like a giant bubbling river of lava and ice cream which sparkled like a jewel) he eventually found his way to a town where he could do everything he wanted, hang out with his friends, eat banana's and hide away.
