Ricardo Junqueira was born in Brasília, where he lived until he was 22 years old. He started taking photographs in 1979 and became a professional photographer in 1984. From the beginning, he strived to research and reach results where technique was as important as artistic expression and creativity. Since may 2012 lives and works in Lisbon Ricardo is a member of Abrafoto - Brazilian Association of Advertising Photographers since 1999. member of RPCFB (cultural producers of Brazilian photography network) since 2009. member of AFP - Profesional Photograhers Association of Portugal
