We’ve launched a new major in our well-known School of Business, a major in operations research under the Department of Computational and Applied Mathematics, and a sports analytics major under the Department of Sport Management.

Our Houston location is a mecca for industries related to finance, sports management, consulting, medicine, entrepreneurship and energy. Rice students intern everywhere from NASA to the mayor’s office, as well as conduct collaborative research with the world-renowned Texas Medical Center.
